This report and video causes many more questions than it answers. Some options, MOO:

1- Everything happened exactly as the report said (and as reported in the police press release at the time, though Tylee's involvement wasn't included in the press release). The scene was properly investigated, all parties were questioned, evidence matched answers, etc.
2- Alex was the shooter, but it was planned/pre-meditated, up to and including setting up Tylee's involvement (hopefully without her fore-knowledge) by putting the bat within her reach and causing the fight.
3- Alex or Lori was the shooter, planned/pre-meditated or not. Tylee was not in the house, and their description of her involvement was a lie she was pressed into going along with.
3- Lori was the shooter, and Alex and Tylee are covering for her.
4- Tylee was the shooter, and Alex and Lori are covering for her (I really hope not).

The bat striking the back of the head doesn't make sense unless it happened as Alex was running to the room for the gun. But then, wouldn't Charles have continued to follow him (even just out of momentum)? He was shot in the empty living room and ended up in a laid-out flat position.

In the report it says he has a cell phone to his ear speaking to dispatch (911) I think. Did he look hurt?
He didn't look hurt to me at all. But then the video blurs him. So if he has a little boo boo on his head we might not be able to see.

Watching the video, I found myself looking at the background. These children had to have lived in utter chaos and almost as squatters. I am not understanding where 3 people (Lori, Tylee, JJ) go that fast when they have all witnessed this go down. Those kids have to be a mess and hysterical. Also, is Alex calm sitting on that curb? He is touching his head to bring attention to it but not flipping out that he shot a guy inside that house. MOO

It looks like Lori was in the process of moving out of there.
She didnt move out till 31 August and this was 11 July I believe. So they lived there for another 7 weeks.

Yes, no doubt Lori is very concerned with well being of the children.

I just meant in general I wouldn't find it to be a strange thing to do. Anything involving Lori automatically looks shady.

In my opinion, he did not have a serious head injury. He "touched/messed" with the top back of his head. He seemed to be balding in the area( not very long hair at all) and I saw no blood on head or hands. He never really looked down at his hand to see if there was blood on it....moo

Yep, and who is a more responsible an adult than Lori? No doubt she had utmost concern for the feelings of her children.

I never said that.

I would find it a strange thing to do, because it was a crime scene and Lori's brother supposedly defended her yet she took off and let him face the music alone. If concern is about the children, remove them from the house but taking off before police showed up?

It could be that if the mom has been going on and on about the end of times, that the police were against them, the worlds corrupt etc and that she’s some kind of profit they’re (or at least Tylee) is so immune to the madness they are desensitised and believe her. JJ is autistic and I know from my own son (also autistic) they focus on self preservation and are not always aware of what’s really going on. If I said run now to my kids, especially my son he would run and ask why later. She could well have been giving them doomsday scenarios or training for years.

JJ may not even have been aware of what had happened. If he was on his iPad he could have been oblivious. It may be that Tylee especially really did believe CV was a bad man, out to steal/hurt JJ and her mom just based off LVs own rantings. I suspect that in every area they’ve lived in since she got with these cults they’ve had emergency escape plans and places to run to. MOO

Now I'm very curious about our deleted poster who mentioned the bat being in Tylee's possession. Who is that person, and how did they know that? It's not someone who ever received VI status, and the post was deleted IIRC.

It ain't #1 IMO

Great post full of great questions!

I never said that.
Your brother defends you but you take off and let him face the police totally alone? I guess that's Lori's story and she is sticking to it.

The room that was messy. Did I see an overnight bag in there?

She also took the victim's rental car and two possible witnesses away from the scene. She wanted out of there real fast and real bad....moo

And again, Charles used to be a baseball player. I am guessing if he actually hit somebody on a head with a bat, that somebody would have more than a little boo boo to show for it. As the story goes, Chales hits Alex but allows Alex to go to the bedroom and get the gun. And then continues to swing the bat even after Alex shows up with a gun.

Not just witnesses. One was supposedly involved in the fight by bringing the bat.

I literally dont know where this back and forth is coming from. I said a responsible parent could take their kids to a neighbor. A neighbor. Rather than disappear completely.

All the bedrooms appeared messy and contained no beds. Mom's room was clean and tidy with a bed. Odd. Well, I did raise two sons so messy bedrooms happen... But no beds never happened in my home

I would think a suicide autopsy could come back really quickly?

I read that AC's would take 3 months and Tammy's another 2-3 weeks. I don't know why so long for Alex. I read that earlier today but with all this news cannot now remember where I read it so take it as MOO please. So Tammy's should be first around end of Jan.

I hope they have asked at JJ's school about Lori's demeanor during the drop-off. Because the landlord said that she replied to his concerned texts with something like "Everything's ok, will explain later."

I know some people are cool under pressure, but I'm just not buying that someone can calmly take two children in the car and drop one off at school (where did Tylee go at this point?) while her husband and the father of their child (the one she's dropping off) is lying dead back at home in the living room.

Again, in GENERAL I would not find it strange that a parent would want to take their children away from a distressing scene like the shooting death of a family member. In THIS case, I DO, because it involves Lori and there are many other things that don't add up. I'm not sure where the disconnect is here. I'm not defending Lori's actions.
