Again I cannot remember the source but I think Charles was paying the rent on that and it was $1000 per month IIRC.

Not sure if I answered this question but I thought LE were aware of this at the time. Not sure they did anything about it because noone actually knew where she was I believe.

Well, I meant couldn’t LE maybe see it, when Lori was down at the station being questioned after Charles was shot.

I would find it a strange thing to do, because it was a crime scene and Lori's brother supposedly defended her yet she took off and let him face the music alone. If concern is about the children, remove them from the house but taking off before police showed up?

I hope they have asked at JJ's school about Lori's demeanor during the drop-off. Because the landlord said that she replied to his concerned texts with something like "Everything's ok, will explain later."

I know some people are cool under pressure, but I'm just not buying that someone can calmly take two children in the car and drop one off at school (where did Tylee go at this point?) while her husband and the father of their child (the one she's dropping off) is lying dead back at home in the living room.

In the report it says he has a cell phone to his ear speaking to dispatch (911) I think. Did he look hurt?

She didnt move out till 31 August and this was 11 July I believe. So they lived there for another 7 weeks.

Now we can circle back to a pool party that afternoon after yellow crime scene tape taken down...Also, you have 2 kids who have now witnessed something horrific. We know Tylee is totally understanding and aware since she is literally in the middle of this fight, so they continue to live in the house until the end of August?

Random thought here....Chad and Lori have been gone awhile. Chad has 2 kids living in the home in Salem. They probably both are attending school at BYU I with maybe small jobs on campus or whatever. You also have a son serving an LDS mission in South Africa. My question is, who is paying the house pmt, the light/heating bills, insurance, car pmts? Did this "normal" loving father leave his kids to go down the drain? Yes, they have food storage and the LDS Missionary will be taken care of...I don't see Chad as big money maker on these ridiculous books. My opinion...

Somethings really bugging me about all of this and where the kids could be. Also Alex’s death.

Guilt could be the number 1 factor for his death, especially if it was after the kids were last seen. That troubles me as I hope it wasn’t that he had done something to them. I hope that wasn’t his tipping point.

Can any of the people that knew Lori say if she had a friend with a pilots liscence? I know a lot of the people in rural areas do. Do they know any of the Mormons in Mexico? I’d read earlier that they wouldn’t have gone to hide with the flds. She’s obviously very familiar with Arizona. There’s a lot of places in Mexico that her and CD could hide out. No guarantees she has the kids with her but I have heard of people crossing the border into Mexico with no passports and no issues. There’s people that would fly you out no questions asked...if you know the right (wrong) kind of person. All MOO but it is something I keep going back too.

Melani’s kids? Lori seems like a good liar. I originally thought Chad might be completely manipulated by Lori, but by looking more into his activities/writings, I think he was also a good liar. MOO

The toys that were left actually had Jj's name on the ball. Also Chad is reported to have said Lori had no minor children, that to me meant he was indicating she had adult children only (Colby and Tylee) and didn't seem to be considering JJ.

I read that AC's would take 3 months and Tammy's another 2-3 weeks. I don't know why so long for Alex. I read that earlier today but with all this news cannot now remember where I read it so take it as MOO please. So Tammy's should be first around end of Jan.

It's two different jurisdictions, so they would use different labs and the labs could have very different backlogs and procedures. In other cases I've followed, toxicology is usually 6-8 weeks, so AC's seems a bit long and I'm guessing they expedited Tammy's.

As long as my phone is on, GPS is working....It even works in airplane mode. (Airplane mode is a handy tip for those conserving batteries!)

Of course, Lori could have ditched her phone for a prepaid phone or something too.

Lori does have quite a lot of cell phone numbers/services in the past couple years.

Watching the video, I found myself looking at the background. These children had to have lived in utter chaos and almost as squatters. I am not understanding where 3 people (Lori, Tylee, JJ) go that fast when they have all witnessed this go down. Those kids have to be a mess and hysterical. Also, is Alex calm sitting on that curb? He is touching his head to bring attention to it but not flipping out that he shot a guy inside that house. MOO

Nor are medics attending to it. He’s not vomiting like a concussion and he has no towel or bandage on it as if he wasn’t bleeding!

I guess you'll have to ask Chad. Some people think 16 is when people become adults, get a driving licence, can marry etc. He clearly knew about Jj and Tylee and must have known about them being present at CV's shooting. Also in Rexburgh, the toys were left on the porch in full view after they left. Why did Lori say Tylee had died before her father? We cannot follow their logic at all in any of this because it makes no sense.

Again, in GENERAL I would not find it strange that a parent would want to take their children away from a distressing scene like the shooting death of a family member. In THIS case, I DO, because it involves Lori and there are many other things that don't add up. I'm not sure where the disconnect is here. I'm not defending Lori's actions.

SURELY, someone who lived in that house was upset, even hysterical, about what happened, or at the very least, upset about what the children witnessed.

Is it known how the Cox family found out about this? Did either Alex or Lori call their parents that morning?

There is just so much inexplicable behavior here. Not just on Lori's part, but Chad as well. Who becomes Husband #5 to a woman two weeks after his own wife dies, when he knows that woman's brother has recently shot and killed Husband #4, and that the woman's brother threatened to kill Husband #3 but settled for a felony assault on him with with a stun gun. Nevermind how obvious it is that Husband #5 lied to the police about his new wife having minor children.

I don't know how to find out, but yeah that would be in the 2k-2.5k range I would think for that area. Just the taxes and HOA are over $400. The purchase price was $292k in 2010.
