I’ve hit the point where I’ve got all sorts of problems with things.
So yes, sometimes it’s appropriate to do CPR on someone with a gunshot wound, even a chest one. But it’s pretty damn hard for just one person, because you have to put pressure on the wound, or you’ll make them bleed out. (And kill them faster.)
So, what did Alex use for pressure? There’s nothing on the ground with blood. There doesn’t seem to be much blood at all. And he didn’t have blood on his hands, himself, or on the phone, that I could see. Anyone else notice any?
And that must have been an impressive bit of CPR... maybe the one, two, three, four should have been counting Alex’s hands? Two for CPR, one (or two) for pressure, and yet another to hold the phone?
And generally, when you’re told to do CPR, you do it until a medical professional arrives to take over. Not wander off to put the gun in a different room, wash your hands, do something with bloody fabric from compression, and then wander your way outside, all the while on the phone with dispatch. Looking VERY forward to hearing that 911 call that Lum said they have. Finally. Hope they’ve requested the rest of the relevant 911 calls, too. In fact... those houses are close together. Did any neighbors call? I’d be surprised if they didn’t... a “loud” fight, a vehicle that left during it, and multiple gunshots?
I also don’t buy this new supposed timeline. We’re supposed to believe that Tylee swung a bat, Charles grabbed it and went after Alex, and Alex grabbed a gun and shot him? When, exactly, in that handful of seconds, max, did Lori herd two kids to the car? Especially a teen and an autistic (7yo?) child? Did she pick JJ up and cart him out screaming? (How much does JJ weigh?) Because that’s about all that might make it happen. Not to mention Tylee supposedly hearing shots from the vehicle. There just isn’t enough time to make it plausible.
The mattresses on the floor don’t faze me, we’ve done it ourselves. Except rather than moving, it makes me think money is an issue - or maybe that they hadn’t moved IN very long before. When *did* they move in there, anyway? And that they didn’t intend to stay long.
Oh, my. That house and the disorganization had to have been an issue for JJ. And speaking of JJ, how long had they had the service dog, and how old was it? What were its trained tasks? What was the reason stated for returning it?
And one more thing off the top of my head. Charles was shot, and just happened to fall back all perfectly laid out like that? Mmmkay. Or if not, and he was moved to do (or claim to have done) CPR, again, where’s the blood?
Where, exactly, were Charles’ wounds? Oh, and head wounds BLEED. So Alex’s head wound didn’t break the skin? And him being hit on the back of the head wouldn’t make sense. Heck, even going in the bedroom for the gun and back wouldn’t - because that’s no longer defense, but returning to attack. Hell, if he’d gone in the bedroom, he was away from Charles, and could have shut and locked/barricaded the door and called 911.
And speaking of calls to 911... where is the call from a grouping of people that presumably had three or four phones among them that originated a the normal time, y’know, DURING the fight?
Like I said, I’ve got all sorts of issues. I don’t think we’ve heard anything close to the truth yet, at all.
