oops, i remembered wrong, supposedly no for homicide.
I wonder what the new buyer knows. Not that it has any bearing on the case, but it would be interesting to know either way.

So where could the children be now?

The events move from CV's death on 7/11 to the trip made in August (or very early Sept?) by Lori, Tylee, JJ, Alex, and a "friend" from AZ to Rexburg, ID. Since around 9/24, no one has seen the children.

I have all the same problems. The bat was next to CV, but the gun was in an entirely different room? I suppose it's POSSIBLE CV fell in that position, but it absolutely looks posed. If he was moved or rearranged, where are the blood smears? How is there no pool of blood around CV's body? Surely two bullet wounds that have exited the body and killed a man would produce a large amount of blood, even if we account for the blurring in the video and his body/clothing soaking some of it up. The whole thing is so fishy.

And yes, dispatch told Alex to go outside without the gun and with his hands up when the police arrived.
And I would think that Alex who supposedly did CPR should have been covered in blood too. Does he even look like he has blood on his hands?

I just want to point out he wasn't on Bluetooth. When he came out of the house to meet LE you can see from the body cam he had both hands up while using his shoulder to keep his phone to his ear while talking to 911. LE reported this as well.
I have to say i dont understand why the police were not more thorough. For instance i would think it would be standard procedure to go pull the kid from school to get a formal a witness statement immeadiately.
Even if they believed it was self defence it was still a himocide scene.
I cant even believe the house wasnt quarantined as a crime scene

I see the bat against the wall of the (empty) living room, to the right of Charles' body. It is partially blurred out when the video blurs Charles, but part of it is in focus and you can see it is a black Rawlings bat.

I noticed no one had a bed but Lori. I figured they didn't own much furniture, with how much they were moving. I wouldn't be surprised if the sectional and even the master bedroom furniture was rental furniture or belonged to the landlord (who had been there landlord for many years at another point).

Alex says he thinks Lori left in Charles' rental car, and claims the truck belongs to her. I can't believe she left the scene with the kids! (Well, I can, but...)

If the report says Tylee used the bat, surely she was questioned? This poor girl's life...
I’m way behind and feel like I may never catch up so forgive me if this has already been addressed. If Lori drove Charle’s rental car where did she get the keys? Seems odd that he’d stop all that bat swinging to give them to Tylee when she left to go outside and creepy if Lori or Alex pawed through Charles’ pockets after he was shot.

We don't know how she got the keys, and why she left in his car rather than her own.

It was/should have been probably done on Alex's hands....moo
I’m more curious to find out if Lori’s hands were tested for residue.

This whole thing just keeps getting more and more awful. I've been lurking and following this case as it is unfortunately a messy intrigue. I can't get over how unemotional LV is during the police questioning. I have a few ex husbands myself (all living!), and even if I don't much like them, it would break my heart to have to tell a my 7yr old child that "daddy isn't going to be picking you up" (ever again)... I would just be a mess, and horrified at the reality of what just transpired in my home.

edited to correct typo is to isn't

So the evening prior to being killed, Charles was texting his landlord about finding Charles another place to live because it wasn't working out with Lori.

Because a lot of parents would try to shield their kids from more trauma, while remaining a responsible adult. I'm guessing your kids have never been in a house with a freshly deceased person? It's tough.
If it’s that traumatic (and I’m sure it was) I’m not going to drop my kids off at school and just leave them there to process on their own. And even if the situation was 100% self defense who wants other kids at school and teachers to hear about it from the kids. That would complicate the hell out of things.

Lori has shown no indications of being maniacal about her kids attending school. That day of all days she decides they must go? I think there were other reasons she wanted to get out of the house right away. Get story straight w/Tylee, dispose of something, let Alex do some dirty work?

I wince in anticipation of the flame (and maybe I'm missing something), but how does solving the mystery of CV's death (self-defense or cold blooded murder) help us locate Tylee and JJ?

I think we already know that both Lori and AC have done some bad things.

To me, the aspects or items related to CV's death that might be helpful in locating the children include: CV's phone, CV's credit cards, the identification and later whereabouts of the vehicles present or involved (including the rental car: was it returned, when, and by whom?), AC's gun, and any mobile devices belonging to Lori (did she not have a phone of her own?), Alex (I assume he owned a phone as he used one to call 911), Tylee (whatever happened to her phone after CV's death), and JJ (I think he had either a phone or laptop or both because of the reported "apps to calm him down").

J Lum has been nothing short of brilliant. I am as intrigued by what happened to CV as everybody else. Imo what we really need now is a J Lum in Rexburg, ID..

In my opinion, he did not have a serious head injury. He "touched/messed" with the top back of his head. He seemed to be balding in the area( not very long hair at all) and I saw no blood on head or hands. He never really looked down at his hand to see if there was blood on it....moo
How do you do CPR on someone shot in the chest (or anywhere for that matter) without getting blood all over yourself?

I don't think the children will be found alive. For some reason, the Chandler Police Department/FBI thinks this information should be released now. Maybe to have Chad/Lori supporters, second guess their support? Maybe to sway Chad into turning in Lori? To eventually show how all three deaths (that we know about) are linked, Charles,Tammy & Alex? I also would like Justin Lum in Rexburg. MOO

This is what I was thinking too. Hoping it will erode some of that wall of support they might have sheltering them, that someone might crack and speak out about the kids. Moo.

I understand where you’re coming from. For me my hope is that someone is hiding these kids. I personally thought that possibly whatever transpired at this shooting might have caused someone that loves Tylee and JJ to hide them. So just speaking for myself, understanding what happened here, is a piece of this puzzle. Also any attention at all to this case, is attention to the missing children.

And no flaming allowed :) personally I think hearing different opinions is key!

And keep in mind that Tylee was no longer in school anyway. And this would have probably been summer break for her even if she was.

So the evening prior to being killed, Charles was texting his landlord about finding Charles another place to live because it wasn't working out with Lori.

Hmmm.... I wonder if Lori knew? Did he tell her that morning?

Is it possible he was planning to end the lease and stop paying for Lori's sparsely furnished home... Forcing her to find a way to pay the rent herself??
