FWIW, you dont need a licence to broadcast, just to broadcast legally. I know plenty of people that transmit without one. Im more interested in FRS/GMRS used to send encrypted text. If they were just broadcasting, anyone could hear them. If someone was logging they might have heard some data being transmitted, but wouldnt know what it said. Chris Parratt is licensed, I'm sure quite a few avowers are as well.

Good point. As far as that goes, you could be licensed to broadcast on certain frequencies and broadcast on others. Obviously there is the potential of repercussions or drawing attention to yourself, but if what is being broadcast is encrypted and not often I think the odds of getting caught would be low.

After the welfare check, I really think they left separately - I’m guessing that Lori went with Alex to Las Vegas, or maybe directly to the meeting/hiding place, and we know Chad went on the pre-planned family vacation with his kids and grandkids, for Thanksgiving (Nov. 28th - Dec. 3rd) and I’m guessing he met up with Lori somewhere afterward.
I wonder when they hired the lawyer and thought up their “statement”.

Anyway, I think who Lori spent TG with is Alex and Melani, driving to LV for the marriages. I’m pretty sure the kids weren’t with her. I hope the police are heavily questioning Melani, though.

Could it be established if Lori and Chad left Rexburg on November 26 together? Maybe Lori's neighbor could confirm that? Could they have gone to their hiding place and from there separately to Vegas and to Chad's vacation destination? Could the hiding place be near both locations?

If Lori left directly for Vegas, together with Alex, Melani and their spouses, and stayed there for a few days, wouldn't they be spotted on camera somewhere? In that case Chad could have gone home before leaving with his children for the Thanksgiving vacation. Would the police be looking for him in Salem on November 27?

We're not sure if Lori was in Vegas though and not with Chad and his family on Thanksgiving weekend.

Other members of the family other than Lori's son are mute. Nothing. Not a statement of their need for privacy, grief, support, .... I agree everyone handles things in their own way and they MAY be just as shocked and dismayed but business as usual? I would think they would hunker down and at least release some kind of statement however brief and undetailed it may be. MOO!

Is just the video of Alex in a police car available elsewhere in MSM? I can't find it anywhere. Or if it's not in MSM can someone please tell me approximately where to listen in GH's video to hear/see Alex talking in the police car? TIA.

Do a search on YouTube for "Alex Cox Police Interview." It should be the first video and is 53:15 in length. The drive to the police station starts about the 27:00 mark.

They don't talk all that much. The only real new information I picked up on is that the F-150 pickup in the driveway is AC's, and AC is a long haul truck driver who "hauls hazardous waste" (his own words). Someone earlier intimated that since he was driving out to Bentonville Arkansas that he worked for Walmart, but I don't think that's the case. He says in the video that he picks up loads in Coolidge from whatever customers hire him out for (solvents, and I couldn't make out the other chemicals/waste he listed) and takes it to a disposal facility out in Little Rock/Bentonville Arkansas.

Also, Melani is out and about. She is not in hiding. There are posts about her on social media. I think if she were harboring the children she wouldn't be out so blatantly... Unless they're locked up in her basement

I am not aware of any SM only the court dates of the trespassing in November. The kids went missing Sept 24th and Lori was with her brother Alex and her "sister" (possibly MB) in Rexburgh. 3 apartments there were searched in Nov after they had all vacated for the Thanksgiving period. That is why I believe the kids went with Alex and MB on the 24th Sept. Where to and who with is the question and I think it could only be one of those two. The fact that it was Tylee's jeep seen only a week later on 2 Oct in Arizona fot the murder attempt is also what makes me think they were all together round about that time (Alex, MB and kids ). If you are saying she is out and about, where and when?

Melani is is rexburg. LE knows where she is and she's likely being watched. Not where I would choose to hide the kids.

What is your source for placing her in Rexburg? In MSM she mentions Boise.

I think the kids were gone/hidden long before Thanksgiving and if they are alive no one saw them on that day for a big family meal. If any relatives had seen the kids with Lori on Thanksgiving I expect that police would know that by now. Instead we have police statements that Lori left Idaho with her new husband after lying during the welfare check and that the children were not with them when they left. And she told someone that Tylee was dead years ago. What kind of mother says that if she knows her daughter is really alive and being hidden by someone? My mind is still boggling at that one.

On the other hand, if they told that to Chad's children, Lori's kids are likely not coming back. Chad's children aren't talking to police nor to Tammy's side of the family, so I'm not sure who would report it in that case.

Because she doesn't want to lose custody of them. Which is probably what is likely to happen. Maybe they are holding off producing them hoping the autopsies will be inconclusive. MOO.

Also, Lori has said some weird things about Charles so she may have seriously had delusions about that at the time. Or was trying to empathise. Or the kids really are deceased.

The latest timeline (Update #4) is at the beginning of this thread now (the mods edited and put the most recent one there after this thread started so you might have missed it and saw the old one there at first). I have been keeping notes and editing as new things come out but not much as happened since I posted Update #4. We found out a little more about Melani's arrest, we found out about Lori listing the dog for sale and I added the memorial that the elementary school did for Tammy. I think that might be all that has changed in my notes. So I'm not sure I'll post another update just yet for those small changes.

Probably also after you did your update RS got verified and gave us a bit more info perhaps. Will you be putting VI info in it too or just LE/MSM?

Hmmm. That is a worrying thought. He probably had to have a licence to transport that sort of stuff.

It's known that she can be vindictive about ex-spouses and custody (e.g.: Alex didn't show up to confront Joe at the courthouse and assault him out of his own ideas.). So custody is probably at least part of why she isn't racing to the police to tell them where the children are. "If I can't have them, nobody can. Certainly not Charles' family."

Another reason would be that she doesn't want to have voluntary interaction with the police for any reason right now.

Her new husband is from Rexburg. Locals have said they have seen them at church. Perhaps @RexburgSleuth can verify.

The impression I had was that she didn't really want her own children with her. After Brandon was shot, her first suggestion was that she would move to Boise and the children would remain in Arizona with him after their divorce. He was given custody and took the children into hiding because there had been an attempt on his life. He was worried that she was connected to that attempt, and he was worried about her erratic life decisions and had fears about the children's safety with her. These are the kinds of things that make me think she's not particularly interested in (even temporarily) being responsible for Tylee and JJ.

She suggested a shared custody to Brandon. I don't know exactly when that was but guess it was before the 2 Oct attempt on his life. I just think she would do anything to help Lori, much the same as Alex. I also think Tylee may be helping her mum keeping Jj hidden. MOO.
