I’m so far behind and trying to catch up. Quick question, has anyone seen it detailed who all attended the Sept 8th visit to Yellowstone?
There are many trails that can be walked on to view the greisers and also MANY places to walk off of them and say,,,,,,, accidentally (on purpose) fall into them.
I can’t begin to tell you the number of times we’ve been to our families cabin and hear ambulances headed that way because of someone falling into one.
Sadly there is usually nothing left to recover because of the sulfur and heat.
I really, really hope this wasn’t TR’s demise.
Alex, Lori, JJ and Tylee all went to Yellowstone on Sept 8th.

As you watch Chad walking you'll notice his gait: not very extended from hips to thighs. His paces are short for such a tall man. He doesn't have any swagger side-to-side. Very deliberate walk, arms mostly stiff, with a little movement at the elbows, but not flexed. Deliberate, but not overly in a hurry. Ever. Also, his shoulders and neck are broad, but not extended. I've always noted that he looks like he's hunched over forward a little. You can see that his posture isn't chest-out and thus his neck slightly bends forward making his eyes almost always looking slightly downward (especially noted in the courtroom where he's just sitting there). It's a tall thing, but it's how he has always walked.

at 1:37 - 1:42 is the second man carrying out a heavy tote. Note the same shoulders and head. Some guys would pull shoulders to carry it all with their back. Since he doesn't, the tote is in front of his legs. He almost has to go bowlegged because the tote is in the way. But the steps are the same pace and gait as in Chad's walk from the courtroom.
Compare that to the man assumed to be Alex in the video (0:56-1:03). He's also tall, but not as tall as Chad. His shoulders (hidden a little by the jacket) are squared off. Head not tilted down forward, and even though carrying the heavy tote and tire, he's using his arms more by pulling his shoulders back. Also, between carrying out the heavy tote and tire, he comes back in, you can see his shoulders are not slouched and hunched forward while carrying nothing. Alex's forearms are extended outward at the elbows at this point as well. He walks more openly and nearly bow-legged kicking legs out at the knee. 1:18-1:21 in the storage unit video also shows the two together. The second man bringing the bike in again, hunched over, not just because of the bike, but the legs are also short steps even with longer legs.

We know now thanks to the probable cause affidavit that Chad was there with Alex when the Nov 26th well check was conducted. They knew each other. The likelihood of Chad being the man with Lori on Nov 24 (two days earlier) is solid. The likelihood he was there with Alex Oct 28th is as great.

So... what else does Chad know. This walk to the car and day without Lori have to be weighing on him. I imagine he's weighing his options. Now also hearing that the court doesn't recognize their commitment ceremony as a marriage might give him an out.

What, now??? How'd I miss this?

Also...you were born for sleuthing. The details you post are amazing.

Couple of questions bugging me…

1. If Chad had anything to do with his wife Tammy’s death, anything detectable like poison, why didn’t he have her cremated to prevent discovery of that fact? (Hasn’t he watched “Forensic Files?”) Is there an LDS policy against cremation? As I recall, I believe it’s generally discouraged, but request church members to confirm if that’s still the case.

2. Several articles have mentioned that the tox. tests from Tammy’s autopsy won’t be available for “months.” Same with Alex Cox’s. C’mon, the FBI is involved here. Not saying they could get results overnight, but months seems a bit incredulous. What do you think? I suspect they already have the results and are waiting to play that hand, maybe teasing Chad a bit and ratcheting up the pressure.

3. Not a question, just an observation. Lori sure looked grungy in court, especially her hair. She’ll have dreads before she knows it.

Why would you need cremation? Tammy was embalmed. Which means her body was pumped full of toxic chemicals. Embalming interferes with toxicology.
And by the way, as hard as it is to believe, not everybody watches Forensic Files.

Speaking of MG. Reading the section about her and the missing kids in the charging documents sounded very familiar. Two weeks ago a YouTuber read an email she had received on her channel and at the time it seemed a little out there. But it turns out, the details about MG were pretty spot on. Anyone remember that? Not sure how much I can post here but if you search YouTube for "incomplete investigations" and find a video uploaded Feb 7, that would be the one.
Yes! As insane as that email was, it now make a little more sense .

If someone wants to hide a body, they are not going to drag/carry a body very far off the road (It is a tremendous amount of work to carry/drag a body 100 feet from a road.) One would only have to search along the roads and not search every square foot of the park.

If you're dragging the body, sure. The way I picture this going down, Tylee and Alex hike off the road somewhere and Tylee has a fatal accident somewhere well off the road and out of sight of the hordes of tourists.

There are so many thermal pools 400 degrees plus in yellowstone that a body could disappear and never be found

If we ignore the complex of those in the Norris basin where there is a lot of foot traffic and people eyeballing you as you wander around, I'm guessing (but don't know) that there are a fair number that are a short hike (half a mile to a mile) off the road that someone who knew what they were shooting for could walk to and arrange for one of their hiking companions to "trip" into it. My concern here is if this is what happened to Tylee why take JJ and how does Tylee going missing (assuming he doesn't see the "accident") get explained. But the answer might be "it doesn't" and his questions are why he has to go a couple weeks later.

The reality though is that this has been the case from the very beginning. If she'd proven the kids were alive and being taken care of the whole issue becomes moot. Technically there are still laws she'd broken, but nobody much cares about them if the kids are shown to be okay. The rumors flying around, claims of a custody battle and such, made it seem possible that there was something we were missing or that she thought, even is misinformed, preventing that. But it is getting hard to picture that now.
I think, in general, for anyone to think the kids are safe and sequestered somewhere in some kind Mormon family's basement, the motive for Lori would have to be her great love for the children and her desire to have them be safe. I think pretty obviously we've seen that is not at all Lori's motivation is any of this. No way would she stay in a yucky Kauai prison if she could show the kids are safe. MOO.

MOO: Had she been cremated, her family would have pressed for his arrest on the suspicion of murder then and there. Embalming bought him some time.

Lori smirking “I’ll never tell!”

Chad with his schlumpy expression and schlumpy posture. He doesn’t look capable of changing a lightbulb, much less keep me alive after the apocalypse.

JJ is autistic. It's probably easy to fool him, considering the believed his father wasn't dead but was just traveling for work.

Wait, what did I miss? No legal marriage? A commitment ceremony only? Omg, his kids must be freaking out over this (in private of course).

So Tylee went missing before JJ. It would have been easier to explain the other way around, as JJ wasn't Lori's biological son and apparently she was tired of taking care of him. So why did Tylee go missing first?

I said many threads ago that she probably threatened Alex about the details of Charles' shooting during that first week in Rexburg. We'll probably never know but it has to be something to do with her knowledge of either their past crime or their planning of future crimes (JJ and Tammy). There were much easier ways to get rid of Tylee without killing her if they weren't worried about what she knew. MOO
