So the poster who suggested the rear wheel was taken off to get a good shot was correct. It also means it was a driver and a shooter I think. And it was found in Rexburg.
I wonder who the driver was.....Melani or Tylee ????....moo

But the kids are safely stashed right?

Highly doubtful they are safe or alive, unfortunately. Maybe if they were last seen the same day, but they went missing almost two weeks apart.

From what I’ve read or heard on podcasts, it’s the overlapping jurisdictions that complicate who would prosecute and the lack of a proper jury pool (due to the remote nature of existing jurisdictions) that create the misconception of a Yellowstone Death Zone place to get away with something. Prosecution can happen, it’s just more difficult. This is how I understood the topic so MOO.

And really, that's the interesting question--not whether you CAN get away with crimes there, but whether CD/LV/AC might have THOUGHT you could. In my experience, prepper types latch onto a lot of insane legal theories about technicalities that will supposedly checkmate a court, or the IRS, or whomever.

I feel that this may be how AC new wife(widow) came into play. If J.J. is alive they would want someone experienced to take care of him.....makes me wonder where she is now...... moo
Hopefully all of those closely linked to this case have had their phones tapped and have been followed for a while. MOO

Could it have been Chad? Perhaps Tammy was already headed to her parents house by then? On LDS conference weekend, most people wouldn't have missed him. But I suppose his kids would know if he had been "out" for a day...

But yet cant pay property taxes on HIS house HIS children are living in. *spits* jmo
I'm now wondering if any of that money went to buying his children's cooperation/support. Didn't they have a family vacation to California during the Thanksgiving holiday (as mentioned by a VI family friend)? Did he fly them out and pay for the vacation himself using these funds? If so that would seem rather insulting to Tammy's memory as well. Can you imagine? "Hey kiddos, I know your mom just died and was buried, but hey I just got remarried and you have a new mother and we want you to be happy so we brought you out here to vacation with us using your mother's life insurance money. I'm sure she is happy for us and approves so you should as well!":mad::(

Ah. Thanks. I must have gotten things mixed up in my head because she was going off to college, which is usually something people do at 18, not 17, unless they graduated high school early or attended early.

Also, this "release Lori vallow" community page is a real trip.

Lori pulled Tylee out of school to "homeschool" her at age 15.
Then Lori claimed to family members that Tylee "graduated from homeschool" at age 15.
Then Lori told other family members Tylee got her GED (I'm unsure what age this claim was made at, but we looked and no states allow 15 year olds to take the GED test).
All the above info was in a Grey Hughes video interview with family and hasn't really been touched on much in the press.
Many homeschoolers weighed in on our previous threads and said that if Tylee truly graduated from an accredited homeschool program, then she would NOT need a GED to go to college.
When Lori's lips move she's probably lying, so I don't know that we can trust any of these claims about Tylee's education. At any rate, Tylee was not enrolled in any school when they moved to Idaho and Lori also told different people different locations for where Tylee was going away to college (BYU- Idaho or BYU Hawaii were her most common claims I beleive). It's almost as if Lori began premeditation on a plan to get rid of Tylee a couple years ago when she started isolating Tylee from others and lying about her education. When Lori was MIA for nearly 2 months in early 2019, her husband Charles' family members believed that Tylee was living with other relatives. But Lori took Tylee to Hawaii for part of that time.

MOO.

CD just doesn’t strike me as having the balls for a hit. I might be wrong though, I’ve been surprised many a time by this case. MOO

Wait... Tylee turned 18 on 9/24/2019. JJ was last seen on the 23rd and unenrolled on the 24th, the day his older sister turned 18.

Is there a chance that Tylee took JJ and is on the run herself for some reason?

She turned 17. Regardless, it's very improbable that Tylee took JJ. Her car was found in Rexburg and her bank card was found with Lori. Even if she had the motiviation, which I doubt, she wouldn't have the means.

I'm thinking suicide.
As I’ve said before, I don’t think so. If Alex was going to kill himself he would have used a gun. Unless he had life insurance that wouldn’t pay out for a suicide.

Let's play a game. Conservatively, how much do you think has been spent since Tammy passed away? I'm assuming he bothered to pay for her funeral.

Disclaimer: I'm not making any assumptions of who brought how much cash into this marriage. Just looking for expenditures.

I know flights (2 at least), Chad's family vacation at thanksgiving, chad and Lori's wedding, townhomes, motels, furniture, flight to Maui. Goodness.

Jmo
BBM.

I was just thinking about that! Do you think they used Tammy's life insurance monies for all of this? Blech! >.<

I am leaning toward suicide, but Alex's new wife was a good friend of Lori's...if I remember right.
You remember correctly. Lori’s friend April said as much in her Dateline interview.

And he cheaped out. Did Chad take his kids to Hawaii? No he did not, he only took them as far as California. Like I know he did a lot of other REALLY bad stuff, but if I was one of his kids, it would really sting to know I and my siblings weren't worth an island vacation in paradise, but Crazy New Mommy was.

Most prepper and antigovernment groups are well aware of this alleged loophole and I'm sure some of LV's family members have theorized about how it might be utilized, but I can't see how it applies here. That area is remote, as in, you can't get to it from any of the official gates or main routes. There's a campground at the very southern edge that's a short hike in from the end of a road that starts in ??Ashton??? ID but it's nowhere near an official gate.

I don't wanna think about what might have happened but if you Google "Colin Scott" from Oregon you might get a clue.
omg..... This Chad and Lori novel just gets more and more terrible. Are the thermal hot ponds in Yellowstone very common or plentiful?
