Was she 60? I’m 62 and can finally get married without losing my pension and social security ( after getting divorced 20 years ago). The only catch is now I’m too old to! ( well, apparently I’m not exactly the same catch I was twenty years ago.) Social Security has a little sense of humor.

I think it was before she was 60, but I don't know all the facts, It was just what I was told.

Craig De Costa, officially her attorney and I think the main guy at the law firm. The attorney in court was from his firm, but not the person who is supposedly her attorney.

I came late, the question I have...is deCosta or any of the firms lawyers private attorneys or work for the state on some cases?

So then you believe he knows exactly where the kids are and is a part of this crime? I find it hard to believe that he could live an entire life following the law, and being a part of his church and yet be that depraved. I for a long time now have thought this is just playing into her fantasy that she’s all powerful and mighty . She thinks it’s her show and she’s in charge and in control . I even wondered if all of this was a publicity stunt to sell chads books and end of day story and she’d eventually on her own timeline show the kids are alive and well and always have been and she’s the savior (in her own mind ) I won’t lie apart of me still hopes that’s true bc then the kids would be alive but as everything falls into place and bodies pile up, kids medication left behind and never refilled, service animals surrendered, and she throws away their family memories , her children’s baby pictures the harder that becomes to think about.

If they were stashed somewhere with someone hiding them for the end of days.....isn’t there room for family albums at the very least . If everyone’s going to die and you’re going to live on dont you want those pictures to save as long as possible . If you truly believed that would you spend the last days of your life with a new partner on a beach or would spend it with your family and close friends . Would you be on that beach or would bc you think you’re the chosen one you’d be prepping like there’s literally no tomorrow storing food, water, meds.

the truth is she doesn’t believe that story chads selling . But LVD has proved to be selfish, conniving, scary, and extremely premeditated. She has little to no value for anyone at all except herself.

She’s always been this scary person who’s delusional and unhinged . She just hid it well. There’s several diagnoses that could be . But most importantly LVD knows right from wrong . Hawaii allows civil unions which may not qualify under federal law for ss purposes but would be a marriage in other respects. So "husband" is not necessarily a fib.

But here we go... two people can only get married in Hawaii if:
(5) Neither of the parties is a person afflicted with any loathsome disease concealed from, and unknown to, the other party;

Clearly Lori has a loathsome disease so any marriage is invalid

its a good idea i just don't know why they'd hide the kids, its not in any of their prophecies that we know about it seems to focus on him and her ( translated being.. or transcedent for the 144,000 ), i mean its possible and probably a smart place to check but its a ton of man power to do it

I agree with you! You would be surprised how well legitimately delusional people can hide it. I have a close relative who believes and says the craziest things, but when hospitalized she has managed to fool them every time into thinking she is just depressed. People like this believe that others can't handle or be trusted with the truth they are telling and understand when and when not to share it. Even providing proof, written and recorded, and witnesses cant keep her hospitalized or medicated because she isn't a direct threat to anyone or herself at that moment.

husband, Charles Vallow, was shot on July ll, 2019, by Lori’s brother, Alex Cox. Lori Vallow is now married to Chad Daybell, from Fremont County, Idaho. Chad Daybell’s wife, Tammy Daybell, died in Fremont County, Idaho on October 19, 2019. I was informed that Chad and Lori married approximately two weeks afier the death of Tammy Daybell. I later confirmed they were married on November 5, 2019, on the Island 0f Kauai in Hawaii. Through our investigation, RPD discovered photographs of their wedding on beach in Hawaii. Neither J.V. or T.R. are seen in any of those photographs.

Just because a cop believes it to be true and swears to it does not mean it is actually true. If he based it on discovery of the wedding pictures that's pretty weak and frankly, poor police work. RPD could easily have obtained the wedding certificate from Kauai County. If it exists it probably would be in the PC affidavit.

Yes, I do believe that he knows if the children are dead or alive, but not necessarily their exact location. If he was expected to lie about something this big (not only he lied, he also asked others to lie), IMO he'd want to know the truth first. If he was involved in his wife's death (which I also believe), I would not put anything past him.

They both may qualify for social security benefits. Remarrying legally would disqualify them.

I think under normal circumstances, Lori would be entitled to SSI benefits on behalf of JJ through his father Charles Vallow. Since neither Chad nor Tammy were retirement age, and their children are fully grown, I don't know that he would be entitled to any SSI.

Count me surprised, I didn’t realize you could not “count” nor collect SS, minus a disability, before reaching the age of 62, maybe earlier if you are a widower, if you had been married to the former spouse for more than ten years. Not sure it’s relevant, Lori is not near retirement age. MOO
