Ahhhhh, the visions of the newlyweds "holding hands" through the glass....

have been wondering the very same. I don't know prison allowances!! Or visitors?

I was just thinking about something...I assume that the autopsy of Chad's first wife Tammy is complete, but LE has not released any info about the results to the public. I was guessing that the reason for this was that they found something to throw suspicion at Chad. But there's been nothing new about any charges against Chad. Just curious about that.
My guess is - they have autopsy results and want to wait to charge CD once he is back in Rexburg. As it's a life in prison or death penalty case I think they can challenge extradition for those sorts of cases in HI. So their best bet is hope CD heads back to Rexburg when LV gets extradited back there and once he is there, arrest him. I can only hope anyway.

I don't think there is 144,000, or that they knew they were 144,000 before Lori approached them. Sounds like Lori was contacting people telling them they are selected to survive the end of the world. But I doubt she contacted that many.

Woah, Lori called her own son her niece's drug baby??

The vibes I get from Colby, and how she apparently didn't parent JJ and Tylee, Lori was anything but a super mom. Or however it was her friends described her.

I should have clarified. Justin Lum wrote in the comments to the same video 5 hours ago: Melani and Ian are believed to be living here.
IP has had solid employment in Idaho for years... to AZ? Where's the money?

Newly revealed information had quite the opposite effect on me. If there was any doubt as to his involvement in (or at least knowledge of) the children's disappearance, that is gone now.

Me too! 100%! Reading the probable cause affidavit eliminated all doubt for me - he’s as guilty as she is.

Makeup and sunglasses work wonders! ;)

she’s not smiling in the newest photos so the mouth is hard to tell. The nose though. Rhinoplasty? It’s noticeably different than earlier photos.

Been thinking about WS member LHS's post about her friend who went to Missouri. Just had a very overwhelming thought. I wonder if this whole thing is much larger than Lori and she is just the only stupid one who got caught and got caught because of Kay and Larry's and BB's reporting and Alex's sloppiness.

So many times there are deaths, murders, and events that are just not connected. What if it is an overall moneymaking scheme of this cult group to have their members' spouses die of "natural causes", collect life insurance, remarry and move out of State to a complex? I hope the FBI is looking very closely into the lives and money trails of the other 142,000 whacky members of the afterlife.

As dopey as Chad looks, I'm not ready to put all of this on LV just yet. And, I think there may be someone in the 144,000 smarter than Chad.

Yeah, call me paranoid. But it's not inconceivable.

I think I said something similar recently. I may try to find it but I've turned into a serial poster on this case so that might be challenging lol. This may (or may not) be the tip of the iceberg. Jmo

IMO most likely defense:

1). Alex took the children someplace safe but she didn’t want to know where because that would put them in some kind of danger. Then Alex died and she doesn’t know where he took them.

2). She thought Alex took them someplace safe and he was watching out for them. Then he died and she learned they weren’t “there” after all. Now she’s afraid Alex snapped and killed them because he was crazy and thought they were Zombies. Then must killed himself out of remorse.

However she spins it, it will all be Alex’s fault and she thought the kids were fine.

Alex The Blame Sponge’s death was awfully convenient for her, wasn’t it? Especially happening so shortly after somebody noticed the kids were gone. Will anyone be surprised if he happened to procure a life insurance policy before dying (w/ LV or her new BFF Z as beneficiary)? I won’t.

I think Chad’s darn lucky that thing got locked up before engineering his tragic demise (and collecting his life insurance and whatever’s left of Tammy’s $430K).

Who else thinks LV’s nothing but a murderous greedy grifter masquerading as a prophet and savior. And deluded, lust-struck Chad her latest mark.
I agree totally with is last paragraph!!!

How long am I going to need to clear my life's calendar when all of these people go to trial? I might need to do some....prepping.

Even without K&L, did they expect Colby to never see his siblings again and be fine with it? Would it have turned into one of those cases when someone's disappearance is first reported years later?

I'm also surprised that Lori's parents did not seem to have any meaningful relationship with her kids.
Her parents are such a mystery... we cannot talk about them, and they historically know how to protect themselves from Gov't (or try to), and MSM also... imo

Can I ask who Nate is?
Nate Eaton. Reporter for East Idaho News. He has been involved from the get go, and his articles and interviews have been very important.

Interesting tidbit shared tonight on Justin's Twitter ...

Twitter

BREAKING: New documents filed in AZ about the attempted murder of Brandon Boudreaux. Brandon + his attorney say Alex Cox was the shooter and that his ex-wife Melani has confessed (to her new husband) that she set up the attempt on his life.

Just copying it into here.

Brandon + his attorney say Lori’s niece Melani feels that the “suspicious death of her uncle (Alex Cox) who was the shooter in the incident involving children, has somehow freed her from her role in the attempt on (Brandon’s) life.”

I love that they've separated them. It makes me wonder if LE has psychologists/behavioral unit advising them on strategy with this.

And I loved the persistence of the reporters following Chad out of the courtroom and around every turn.

Do they have separate lawyers now? I'm not sure if I missed discussion about this lawyer DeCosta who she informed about her vacation to Maui. Hmmm, did she also inform him about the flight to Mexico that Dateline was told about?

I know this has been asked and discussed over and over and I apologize to those that may be tired of the question, but I have not seen a verified answer. Was CD excommunicated last fall? I had only read he was asked to step down from his role as Exec. Sec. to the Bishop. Thank you and again my apologies.

My bet is on Chad getting family/friends (old ones, not new ones) help to plea insanity down the road...
