JPATS supports the federal judiciary through its scheduling and transportation responsibilities. JPATS transports sentenced prisoners who are in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) as well as to hearings, court appearances and detention facilities. Military and civilian law enforcement agencies use JPATS to shuttle their prisoners between different jurisdictions at a fraction of what commercial sources would charge.

I was actually thinking that they might put her on a AMC (Air Mobility Command) flight. AMC is kind of like a military airline. It also operates Air Force One and lots of smaller private VIP aircraft. There is a unit at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. Wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that they actually operate the JPATS flights. Hard to believe there would otherwise be enough demand to move federal prisoners between the mainland and Hawaii. It would be cheaper to put her on a USAF Learjet.

Also note that Hawaii houses a lot of its prison population in Arizona and elsewhere on the mainland so there must be some regular system in place to transport them even if is not JPATS

That may be, but he didn't contest paying it... I think he's the father. But I'm not sure why it even matters if there's another unknown bio father for CR? Or why we are discussing that as a possibility? Other than that would fit with Lori's life pattern of lying and manipulating men to get what she wants. So it doesn't really tell us anything new if that were to be the case. MOO.

I think its obvious Lori has been victim of some sort of trauma throughout her life, most definitely as a child. That's no excuse for her behavior but it is important in understanding Lori and thus, her actions, which can lead us to the children.

Hair length and color and the style of her winter coat seem like "matches" to me. I'm unsure on body type/height. This could be very strong evidence that only 10 days after Tammy's death Chad had moved out of his Salem home already and was living with Lori before they went to Kauai and got married. Our VI's here already told us Chad moved out the day after the Rexburg Memorial. But if that is who I think it is walking up to the door then it's important evidence. Chad can't claim he happened to meet Lori while he was in Hawaii grieving Tammy or editing a book. I strongly believe he went to live with Lori the day after Tammy's memorial and his kids very well could have known where he was living. The day before this doorbell video we have CCTV that captured the 2 men (believed to be Chad and Alex) moving bikes.

Jumping on here late.. and still trying to catch up on all of these threads, wow, what a tangled web..... Anyway I had a few thoughts which may be useful in tracking down the children... although sadly I believe they are deceased (I hope I'm wrong).


I think Speech Analysis on the major players when/if any of them actually do decide to talk could help, there is a man who trains LE in this and he's really amazing when he gets footage or transcripts (he has a website and some videos on YT), he's helped find missing children before both alive and dead... Melanie seemed to hint at having seen these kids either shortly after or while they were being murdered. "The light going dark" comment about children in the divorce filing. More Analysis could help find the remains.

I also think their typical MO based on their past victims didn't involve disposing of the bodies, ie "heart attacks/ self defense" meaning they may be less sophisticated in destroying all evidence, and may choose a place they are comfortable with/ know well. If this happened near Melanie she may hold the clue to where the bodies are, and I don't remember her being in Yellowstone but rather Idaho?! LE should take a look at Island Point area in Idaho.... Chad says "God" spoke to him there... It's nearby, and he knows this area well. Maybe check near his former rentals. I hope I'm wrong and they are alive somewhere, but... It doesn't look good.

Lastly, I'm not convinced this is a "religious" thing, I believe Lori and Chad are sociopaths, the way both of them reacted (Lori with police after the shooting of Charles and Chads quicky remarriage after death of his wife). They wanted a fresh start with no burdens, and lots of money.... Greed and sociopathy. Very scary!

Anyway this is just my 2 cents, but I hope it's helpful in some way, and I hope I'm not being redundant as I haven't read all the replies yet. The most important thing I believe is finding the kids and some small closure or at least answers for their loved ones!

That's possible. I have been reading about genes, and how one's perceptions are formed from a baby to adulthood. It is very fascinating, and shows me that how people are, is a lot more complex than most of us realize.

For example, there was a time in history that it was believed that if a newborn was raised in isolation that they would start speaking the Adamic language (believed to be our original tongue). So, these infants were raised in isolation, other than to bathe and feed them. Well, they all died within a very short amount of time. Showing how important it is for human contact is to our development.

They know the perps have received substantial funds from life insurance, have already absconded once, bought tickets to MEXICO, and it's feared the kids are murdered. While they haven't been charged with the latter, the high bail just ensures incarceration until extradition. The bail will likely be reduced once in Idaho... although I think we all want to see it too high for her to make it.

We don't know they have absconded. Lori was not charged until she was already in Hawaii.
I doubt they bought tickets to Mexico because...no passport.

A least in Hawaii bail can only be set to ensure appearance at trial. While your statement that "the high bail just ensures incarceration until extradition" is absolutely correct, that is not a lawful reason to set bail high in Hawaii.

Calling her by her first name is possibly a defense strategy used by her attorney to humanize her to the judge. It suggests a familiarity, almost a friendship. Like she's just one of the gang rather than a cold hearted killer. MOO

Someone with more familiarity with the area can correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that even this idea that Lori/Alex may have mistakenly held this Zone of Death theory doesn't really fit the way that we're using the facts:

• Unless I'm mistaken, the only reason we're speculating about this "Zone of Death" is because of the photographs of Chad/Alex/JJ/Tylee at the entrance to Yellowstone, which are also the last evidence we have of Tylee being seen;
• the Idaho portion of Yellowstone (the purported Zone of Death) appears (from the maps I can easily locate) to be several hours (and perhaps days) of (likely challenging) hiking from the roads inside Yellowstone Park;
• there appear (again just from the maps I can easily find on the Internet) to be many more roads with closer access to the Idaho area of Yellowstone outside the park itself -- from Idaho (though again most of the Zone itself is likely only available through hours of hiking).

I don't think it is likely that anyone trying to access the "Zone of Death" would have used a main Yellowstone Park entrance. So I think we can probably stop speculating on the Zone of Death not only for legal reasons, but for practical reasons as well. (Again, someone with greater familiarity with the area might be able to tell me I'm wrong here.)

I believe it is possible from within Idaho to get if not barely across the park boundary on primative roads, at least within a mile or two. A long hike for me, but not by most standards. However, everything else you've said is true.

Oh, woah! I guess I didn't know Ted Bundy was Mormon. He was also very handsome. It is really curious to me how it is human nature to 'judge' people by their looks in terms of whether or not they are a good human being. I guess it is because a person can relate if the other person reminds them of themselves, their family or their friends. It was certainly that case with Ted and perhaps with Lori as well. How often is it said 'they just seemed perfectly normal'. It is a scary reminder for all of us. And maybe I do this more than most.

Did Lori know Chad's family before Tammy died.

We don't have any facts on this question. Many of us (me included) think Chad and Lori were possibly together in 2018. (BB referenced that his wife and her aunt were into weird stuff for over 18 months). I have kept wondering how often Tammy went to events with Chad--but
