Hawaii Resident Talks About Thrift Store Encounter With Chad Daybell

Olson said after the encounter she reached out to Kauai detectives to inform them about the exchange.

“They just wanted to know if there were children’s clothing donated or anything like that. I informed them that I didn’t actually work there and I didn’t see it,” Olson said.

Apparently the people working at the thrift store didn't recognize Chad and do not know what he donated as the items were mixed with other stuff.

I noticed that when CR said it too. She seems to have believed that as the world was ending there was no point in worrying. Perhaps she felt a certain freedom to act as she wanted to?

I just want to say though that an atheist doesn’t believe that there’s no consequences. They still believe in those, morals etc, basically everything that a believer would just without God being your judge.

Your consequences are here and now though and would be in a court if you did wrong, or via your community. Hope you don’t mind me saying and please don’t take offence, it just shocked me to see a comparison to LV and her views as being as dangerous as absolute atheism. MOO

Okay, so the last time I was here, Lori was not arrested. Now she is and Chad has flown back to Idaho, right?

Yes, she has been arrested and they are working on her extradition. He flew out of Hawaii I think last night to somewhere. We are assuming Idaho or Utah. Based on the convo the lady had with CD at the thrift shop, he’s going back to Rexburg to support LV.

Since Chad apparently hasn't shown up in Rexburg yet, is it possible he went to his parents' house on the way? The sadness that they must have with all of this as he seemed to be a stand-up kind of guy before he met Lori.

Nah, he was always a bad dude. He just chose a certain point to not hide it no more.

Now it makes more sense. Maybe that was the reason that she was in Hawaii.

If CV had been killed while she was in Hawaii, she would have an iron-clad alibi.

This may also explain her getting so upset at Alex. Was that before or after she visited her friend in Hawaii though? MOO

Lori left J.J. with Charles around Feb of 2019. Since the daily mail article only gave an approximate timeframe for the fight in the street, it seems hard to pin down the timing for sure. However, as is reported in the timeline:

Approx. Jan 2019? – Lori is staying with her brother Alex. Lori and AC are seen arguing loudly in the street outside of AC’s San Tan Valley, AZ home. A neighbor says he thought Lori and AC were married the way they were arguing. “She was screaming at him accusing him of bringing disgrace on their family”.

Since she was “staying with her brother” at the time of the fight, it seems unlikely this fight took place before she abandoned CV and J.J. But whether it happened before she went to HI or after she got back seems impossible to say definitively without more information. If one were to speculate and connect the argument to CVs murder or failure thereof, that still wouldn’t clear up the timeframe since the anger could have been the failure to complete the plan (which would indicate it took place after her return from HI) or the anger could have been at his failure to want to complete the plan (before HI). Whatever it was, it seems to have made her really hopping mad though. I haven’t heard any indication from other family members that would indicate this as normal behavior for her. Speculation then would favor this fight as being after HI. MOO
