IDK... Melani and IP? Or Melani and Chad? Or IP and Chad?? Lori was in the storage unit video with "possibly Alex"... but I'm saying it's not 100% settled where Alex was... If Alex was in Rexburg that narrows who was in AZ. If Alex wasn't in Rexburg he was likely in the Jeep that shot at BB with someone else (one driver one shooter out the back window), but then we have to question who was with Alex and who was in the storage unit video? The man in the storage unit would have to be Ian or Chad...? Are there others I'm forgetting? I don't really get Melani's reasons for claiming Alex was in the Rexburg CCTV.

Either:

1. She's telling the truth and has personal knowledge of Alex's whereabouts. Why/how would she know that? If this is the case, then she also knows who had Tylee's Jeep down in AZ.

OR

2. She's lying because Alex was really with her in AZ and maybe her husband or new uncle by marriage were in the storage unit... She doesn't want to connect Ian or Chad to the storage unit activity. For some reason she thinks it's safer to say Alex was in Rexburg and she was there with him.... But that claim essentially throws Ian or Chad under the bus for the shooting. Because there are limited number of people who had access to Tylee's Jeep and would bother bringing it back to Rexburg where they all live.

OR

3. She has no idea who was where, but has decided to claim Alex was in the storage unit video.... because ? it goes against what BB is claiming? IDK why...

Am I forgetting someone else who could have taken Tylee's Jeep to AZ and back again?

First off, I don't know how any of us could keep this very complex case straight (or sort of straight, speaking for myself) without your unceasing dedication in all ways possible. I can't recall if we have any other verification of that claim and Daily Mail can sometimes get things wrong... I'll see if I can find the article I pulled that factoid from.

I really didn't see it as a normal LDS thing, I was thinking that possibly with her fringe beliefs she was creating her own temple to explore her multiple mortal probations (she seemed to be quite heavy into that) and possibly she thought she was murdering "Ned Snyder" for all of eternity rather than just in this incarnation but it is all complete speculation without truly understanding her beliefs and motivations. Yes, I agree it's possible that she was doing a DIY kind of temple experience in her own home. At least one of the groups we cannot mention does seem by recent actions to suggest that it places particular emphasis on temples. And perhaps she used this emphasis in a idiosyncratic way in her own home. So what you're speculating can't be completely ruled out.

The trouble is it was pretty dark so I don't think he was catching the 19:09 flight to HNL which would have been necessary to be on the direct redeye to SLC.

Moderation of a busy forum like this is difficult and somewhat subjective. When I was new I also had similar questions. It’s not like moderators are watching every topic post by post so it may seem like some are singled out but I don’t believe that.

Just post about the case and there won’t be any moderation questions. They do a decent job considering the massive traffic the site gets. I don’t agree with everything but like the people who post here so I stay.

And I think everyone should think about it.... long long diatribes about mental health conditions, movie titles, geography and whatever doesn't really allow "us all" to continually assimilate to better focus on the goal... finding these kids, and hoping LE has enough data to provide justice. Don't get me wrong, I have truly learned a tremendous amount learning more about the Mormon doctrines, practices, etc... because I (still) believe these beliefs are such an important core to where Lori and Chad have come... But any of these topics can be taken into private conversations for any of us. I have had a few and have loved talking about things that we can not yet discuss... Tammy's Parents live in Springville, the same small town as Chad's family. Not too far from each other.

Tammy's family mostly lives in Springville, Utah, as does most of Chad's, but not everyone. I am quite sure there is a, hopefully temporary, estrangement right now with Chad's kids and Tammy's family for the most part. I hope when the son who is on a mission returns he helps fix some family problems and misunderstandings. MOO.
