I have a sinking feeling that the reason LE have been slow to extradite LVD is because they already know that the kids are no longer alive. Hope I’m wrong.

Certainly AVOW's approach is different than C&D's approach. Both are, rightfully IMO, considered to have connections to Chad. Those connections don't imply approval or being involved in whatever is going on, but one of them wants nothing to do with this (fear of excommunication or backlash or ???) and the other seems to approve and even maybe wanting to insert themselves in the situation more than current evidence would indicate is logical.

I'm thinking one of these want to be viewed as a prepper organization, concerned only with preparing for emergencies, and with the Mormon market being their niche, don't want to run astray of the church. The other organization has a lot more going on than just the prepper stuff. I'm basing that on a few things, one being those who have seen beyond the front page of the site (one former member had a post in the last day or two, for example) along with the categorization of them as anti-government.

That anti-government label got me thinking. If the kids are just hidden away under whatever rationale then I'm thinking an anti-government organization would love to be perceived as in the middle of a situation like this where the resolution they think is coming would allow them to point fingers and accuse the government of over stepping. I think they'd be wrong in their contention, but for their audience who would be primed to hear that message, it wouldn't take much spin to convince them of it.

MOO
Every time I see the "anti government" slant of our conversations, my mind keeps going back to Lori's parents and their constant battles with government. Years and years of stuff---so I feel pretty sure there are contacts and people "out there" who are truly "secret", and are much further from the mainstream press than AVOW and the newer anti groups. Have always thought that if there was a "safe hiding place" it would not be through AVOW. That said, I truly truly hope that the one Cox voice that could be different--Adam, will speak up eventually.

You know, as I’m scrolling through all these posts talking about what a great guy Chad is or used to be, my dear brother comes to mind. He’s a soft spoken, kind man that everybody absolutely adores. He has been coddled his entire life. He was the golden child that everyone put on a pedestal, my mom specifically. That soft-spoken, kind demeanor was a facade. And when he finally cracked and fell off the pedestal, my mom FINALLY saw what I had tried to tell her for years. She died four months later.

What I see in Chad is far worse than what I see in Lori. At least with Lori, we know what she’s about (that “snake” feel from the KPD). Chad is a Jekyll and Hyde personality that is much more insidious because nobody would expect it from him. Whereas Lori might have a mental illness driving her personality, Chad knows exactly what he’s doing and that makes him much more dangerous than Lori. JMO and MOO
I am sorry about your mom. I agree with you on Chad. I am dorry for those of you that knew him and are hurt and dissapointed by his behavior. Obviously this relationship is not new. I feel the same for those that know Lori. I can't imagine how hurt, angry and infurating this must be for you all.

LOL, I live in Boston and there are Dunkin Doughnuts on every corner.... they're even in the subway!

I didn't realize LDS members couldn't drink coffee?! Actully I don't get a lot of the rules, I learn something new about them everyday! Here in the North East we almost never see Mormons... except the one's who come banging on the door which we generally hide from (no joke, people up here pretend not to be home).

Crazier still, I was born and raised in VT and NEVER had heard of Joseph Smith... It wasn't until two young missionaries came to my door on a 90 degree day in full skirts and long sleeves (I felt so bad for them I invited them in to sit in the AC) that I learned he was from home. I don't think they knew what to make of me though b/c I had on short cut offs a tank top with back tattoo exposed and my hair up in a messy bun, lol!
There was a surge of far-out religious movements-- leaders, holy-rollers, beliefs, and followers in the late 1800s, and many were NY and New England born. Shakers, Quakers, Christ Scientists, Jahovah's Witnesses, LDS were the more obvious ones...but many little loose cannons were developed as well. It has always been interesting how LDS just got stronger and kept moving west, while the others pretty much fizzled.

I wonder if that's the governor's order for extradition? I have zero real idea. Jmo

Yes that is the the first steps for the extradition request being processed by court administrators;)

I thought it was Idaho law enforcement who asked to exhume Tammy after they were made aware of of the Az goings on by Az LE. The sheriff talked about it in an interview. Does anyone have the link? If I recall correctly, Tammy’s family was reported by our VIs as being shocked to find out after she had been reburied that she had even been exhumed.
I remember her kids being shocked...just not her siblings/parents.

Regarding CD and his children cutting off Tammy’s family, correct me if I’m wrong, her family became suspicious of her death at some point and Tammy’s sister
This is probably the real reason he moved to Rexburg in 2015 IMO. Was RKY the editor of the GRI newsletter before Chad?
well the owner of AVOW lives in Rigby which is neighbors with Rexburg. So makes sense that Chad had a “voice” tell him he would move to the area. MOO

Checking ID Courts and see an Administrative Order for LV 3/2/20. Any idea what that may be?

Looks like the court orders for info on the rental & JJ's school.

At this point Chad has made so many questionable decisions that rational people have to think something isn't quite right here. I just love it when they try gaslighting by "blaming the media" and never just answer the questions that would get media off their backs. They're digging themselves deeper each day by not just saying where the kids are, because the media will dig and dig and dig to fill in the answers.

Chad has some delusions of Grandeur, and what screams (to me anyway) NPD. As did Lori, I think they feel pretty confident they can beat these charges, Gods don't go to Jail afterall... JMO, MOO.
Two born-and-raised-Vermonters here on our site!!! Am sure you will "meet" eventually!!!!

This is what her nephew, Maxxer500, who is a VI here wrote on an old thread. I’m not sure how to quote the thread directly so I just copied what he wrote: “The reason everyone was ticked off about Tammy's exhumation was no one was notified, so we first heard about it through the news weeks after it happened.” By “everyone” here, he seems to mean his family/ Tammy’s family. I doubt anyone would have been “ticked off” if it was what they were asking for all along.

I don't know what it means for this case that the FBI Mobile Center is there now, but here's a video tour of a brand new FBI mobile command trailer:

Thank you for posting that. Lol I had to laugh at guy doing the walk-around. One would think he built himself. “The great panels; the great set of stairs;...” Ok we get it, you’re very proud of your workmanship. ;)

I'm watching the Nate Eaton interview on Gray Hughes:

Some new details:

1. Nate says he got a call right before the search warrants were going to be served on Kauai but wasn't told where to go in that first call. Nate and his cameraman (Eric I think?) just happened to see Kauai police pulling over a black SUV at Kauai Beach Resort and wondered if that might be it, so they followed into the parking lot at a distance. A few minutes later Nate got a call telling him to go to the resort and Nate said he was already there-- detectives were not even there yet.

2. The detectives asked Nate and crew to keep their distance but gave a pre-planned signal to Nate to let him know when his crew could approach and ask Lori and Chad questions.

3. Nate had initially only planned to ask Lori "Where are your kids?" and he made up the rest on the spot as they walked; he had no idea when he started following them where they were going or what they might do.

4. Nate talked to one of the LEOs on the curb while Lori and Chad were still in the police cars. Nate asked if they were talking. The LEO said they were not really saying much because both had lawyers, however, the LEO said Chad was being very polite with his answers referring police to his attorney, while Lori was described as "cold" and "as if she had lasers shooting out of her eyes" and one described her as "a snake".

5. The baggie that Lori had cash in was NOT given to her by police. Police told Nate that was how Lori was carrying her cash around and that was her baggie. The baggie was a gallon size or larger and it had mostly 20s that he saw.

6. Nate says they are going to get new, better quality video from the storage cameras in the next few weeks to see if they can positively ID Alex. The video released was done by videoing the monitor because the owner didn't know how to download the video. The camera system was new and had only been put up 2 or 3 weeks before Lori rented the unit.

7. More on the Storage video: Most people enter the door where the camera was located but Lori and the men were entering from the far end. Nate doesn't think they did that to avoid the cameras but he doesn't know; he thinks they did it because the far door was closer to her unit.

8. Nate says that he only assumed the man on Oct 2 was Alex because it didn't look like Chad and he knew Alex was living near Lori in Rexburg. However, Nate tells us for the first time that it was NOT Alex's truck there on Oct 2nd. He does not know for sure that it was Alex in the video. He had not put those 2 events together in his mind before releasing the video where he said the man is thought to be Alex.

9. Alex's pickup truck was first seen in Storage CCTV Oct 6th. Oct 1st, 2nd and 3rd visits were all in Lori's car. Lori was at the storage unit with a man on the 2nd and 3rd around the 1 o'clock hour on both days. She and the man stayed 4 minutes on the 2nd and 3 minutes on the 3rd. Oct 6th was the first time it was Alex's pickup and man alone who stayed for 8 minutes.

10. The Oct 6th visit to the storage unit was the first one made in the pickup truck and all other Oct visits after that showed only 1 man in the truck, until the last visit in October when 2 men came in the pick-up and put bikes in the unit. The Nov 24th visit Lori came with a man believed to be Chad because of the car they were in-- They came in a black Chevy Traverse or whatever car Chad had been driving. They stayed for only 4 minutes.

11. Nate is not 100% confident that the man on Oct 2nd and Oct 3rd Storage visits was Alex and hopes to get more clear video soon to confirm or to identify the individual. Nate is more confident that the Nov 24th storage visit was made by Chad because Nate has seen Chad in person and seen his build, how he walks, etc.

(I'm only about 34 minutes in and need to stop now and listen to the rest later; I'll make another post later if I hear anything else new in the rest)

Tagging @RexburgSleuth --you may want to watch Nate's interview with Gray Hughes for new Storage CCTV details.

Thank you so much for transcribing this for us. You are a Rock Star!

Rut Roh! So it appears that Alex was most likely not at the storage unit during the attempted murder of BB. It makes sense to me that Alex was in Arizona with Melani. After all he was with her when she tried to steal her kids back in Springville, Utah.

Didn't have a chance to tell their side of the story.

How about when Chad attempted to interview them in Hawaii, and they just shut him down. These two are so hypocritical.

MOO

SBM. I think you mean Nate, but yeah I agree. It's ridiculous to say they haven't had a chance to tell their side of the story. If it's a custody dispute, why have they not said that? Or had their lawyer say that in a statement? The simplest answer is because that's a lie and it would land them in even deeper hot water to try to make that claim now. Their lawyer can't knowingly lie for them.

MOO.

Yes. It’s immensely difficult to reconcile the past with present. Truth is the only medicine now.

Yes, the owner/founder as well, per the attached message/screenshot in my previous post. Not sure why it uploaded only the thumbnail instead of the full sized image, but you can still make out what it says, if barely.

RSBM

Don't give me this cop out of "It's complicated." That's like asking your daughter if she is pregnant, or not? Then she tells you, "It's complicated."

Really SMH

MOO

"Yes, but only a little bit pregnant."
