So what missing hours do they mean then, before or after the Kauai extradition court appearance? When she was still in the custody of Kauai police?

The defense attorney made this claim in court, and the timing of the event, as alleged by him, was that this occurred between the time she was taken into custody and arrival at the cell block - all in Kauai.

Just a random thought: Tylee is so beautiful, but, the problem with having a narcissist mother, is lack of confidence. The narcissistic parent sees their children as extensions of themselves. If Tylee was not meeting the "expectation of perfection" as defined by the narcissistic parent, she was completely irrelevant.

Yes, and it might not be about beauty, it may be about other expectations too. Maybe not interested in the "end of the world", maybe not interested in being a hairstylist like mommy, maybe not interested in attending BYU, maybe not interested in being the stereotype of the mormon teen girl (even though Lori didn't seem too worried with the LDS faith in the end)... at some point, stuff starts adding up and the kids start wanting to be themselves, their real selves without mommy or daddy telling them that they have to be a certain way or do a certain thing. Maybe Tylee was starting to break free a little bit, or maybe not and she was on board with whatever Lori wanted.

Looks to me like perhaps they're on a fishing expedition for information on cases still under investigation but not yet charged. Not an attorney so grain of salt required.

That was my feeling. Maybe they’re hoping that they will get something by mistake or something that indicates they’re looking at charges to come. The cases are intertwined in the people involved. I hope they are only given information pertaining to the current charges only and not accidentally given information that could give them a leg up.

Look closer... from her left hand wrist, there is a chain going to her waist chain. Same on other side, seen in other pics. So she is cuffed, just not in "handcuffs together", but rather each wrist chained to her waist chains. Ever since leaving her Kauai jail cell. One of the photos from LAX iirc showed it all held together with a Masterlock. Hope they didn't lose the key!

I know some states you leave the tag with vehicle when selling. AZ is NOT one of those states. So indeed if this was Alex’s vehicle (and @Jankee indicated it was) he had to have been the one to order the plates.

After a quick google, “quint” can refer to a straight flush, or five cards in a row of the same suit.

My husband and I were talking about this last night. Every fall he takes a motorcycle trip with his buddies. They have gone through Yellowstone many times. He claims they almost always had phone reception. But they don't go off the beaten path or stray far from their babies (bikes).

My experience overall is it depends on who your carrier is as to whether or not one has coverage, and this is not limited to rural areas.

Which is funny because the LEO curbside at the scene of CV's death looking at her ID asks if she is still "5' 6" & 120" and Tylee says "mom..." almost as if she knows that info isn't correct. Lori is probably only 5'6" with shoes on if the above height is correct. I would guess she's 5' 5". MOO.

AHH, got it! Thanks. I had so pictured her hands in a metal cuff thing. That waist cuff and chain combo gives her more room to move her hands. Nevermind.

Hempey (based on going back and reading the article that prompted this string of comments) is the attorney that represented her at her first hearing in Hawaii which is when this claim was made. Specifically he said or implied that he (or the law firm he works for, DeCosta is from the same firm) had been called because she had been arrested, they came to the jail, and "no one knew where she was." He then claimed when he finally did get in to see her that the Idaho police had been questioning her without her legal representation being there. What the reality is, I don't know. But it was definitely immediately after her arrest in Hawaii that this is claimed to have happened.

I can make sense of this height chart, but the other more recent mugshot height chart has this math- challenged mind swirling. It's no nevermind, just hadn't seen that numbering system before.

Lori had two court appearances in Hawaii - IIRC the allegation was made at the very first one, looks like it was February 19, 2020.

Thanks, I see on the marriage cert she was identified as just ZP. These people are so...interesting.
Two people get married. One changes their last name, that person dies, and their spouse goes back to using their maiden and previous husband's last name as their legal name? Sure, Jan.

While I agree it's strange to have so many last name variations, it could just indicate a difference in the info that was required for the different forms filled out-- a marriage license form might have only wanted her maiden name or current name and might not have asked for any prior legal last names whereas an attorney probably helped her file the probate request and may have noted that she has an alias (alias just means alternative name used and includes prior married names for legal purposes). Perhaps her attorney was being thorough by including the other last name in the filing. MOO.

So, it looks like AC's widow, ZP, filed docs in Maricopa County Probate Court on Feb. 4, 2020 and the case has been continuing. Conversely, CV's case in Houston notes that no will has yet been filed. Interesting because the survivors of all of the deceased in this case certainly haven't wasted time checking or cashing in on insurance policies and in AC's case, filing in probate. The survivors certainly seemed focused on the $$$$ above all else

Perhaps Lori was in no hurry to let CV’s account holders know he was dead specifically to postpone probate. If he had internet access to his accounts she could pretend to be him and bleed them dry.

I am surprised that the attorneys he consulted about his divorce didn’t whip up a will for him, especially after he told them Lori threatened to kill him.

RSBM IMO I think if anything, Tylee was referencing Lori's weight rather than height. If Lori's going to lie about either, it would be her weight. JMO MOO
