The AZ PD had to break in and found him dead of apparent heart attack.

Lori was contacted by the PD, and didn't bother to tell any of JRs family.... His brother got the call 5wks later when no one had come to claim his body! LE ran a background check and that's how they located his brother...

I note that Phoenix PD said "not for a long time", but Phoenix FBI's notes said JM himself said he had been out of play/retired "since 2017", which I wouldn't necessarily call "a long time", JMO.

Judge currently on the case is same as in civil custody dispute. Both defense and prosecution likely seek impartial judge for optics.

Since they asked for disqualification without cause, wouldn't they ask for disqualification WITH a cause, and then state conflict of interest? I am so far from being a lawyer, so I'm only guessing on this one. Also, sort of a side question: you were at the service for TD, correct? And LVD was there...this would be the memorial in Rexburg, and not the funeral in Springville, right? Just trying to keep facts straight. Not an easy task.

Jason M. was fired from Chandler Police Department in 2006. He also worked for the Phoenix PD up until 2017. 2012 to 2017? I know there's some years missing and one of the podcasts he said he was on his back with pain for quite a while (years?) and lost everything. Guess I better be looking at a JM timeline.

I'm guessing they can make a pretty good case for a change of venue though although to be honest I'm not sure which side the venue would be likely to favor, I'm going to guess that getting a jury with people who don't have a pretty solid opinion on the case might be tough. If someone doesn't have an opinion I'd be concerned with whether they are intelligent enough or suitably aware of what's happening around them to be on a jury. MOO

According to his LinkedIn page, he worked with Chandler PD as a SAU/detective from Dec 1998- Jan2006, then was in Afghanistan from 2006-2008, and then joined Phoenix PD from Jan 2008 to 2017, when he was medically retired. If this info isn't allowed, mods please delete or let me know and I will delete. I'm trying to be a good girl and follow the WS rules.

Then you have to be able to prove some kind of conspiracy in possibly the CPD, Maricopa County, Gilbert, Sun Tan? to see if any PD employee would help cover up in order to help LVD or JC1.
