And I would add that these two items were not so large that they could not be stored in the trunk of Lori's car...
RSBM

Why not drive the Jeep to the storage place and take out the seat and tire there? The place is accessible 24/7 and is only 3 minutes from the townhouse.

Why not leave the tire and seat in Lori's car for the day? Did she need space in her car to move something else that same day?

Alex is back the next day with the Jeep, why not drive the Jeep to the storage place and put the seat and tire back on the Jeep right away? Why put them in the F-150 and drive them back to the townhouse? Answering my own question it is because they don't want the Jeep to be seen in public anymore because they think the police are looking for it. If that is the case, why even bother putting the seat and tire back? Why not leave them in storage? Some odd decisions being made those days.

Mormon church has canceled all of their services and are bringing missionaries home due to Coronavirus: Updates on How COVID-19 Is Impacting Saints Worldwide

Will Tammy and Chad's son be sent home from his mission? I don't recall where he is serving overseas but it sounds likely that he will be.

If I'm not as active in this thread it's because I've been over in the coronavirus thread reading until my eyes dry out: Coronavirus COVID-19 *Global Health Pandemic* #21
Me too. My husband has metastatic cancer and I am scared beyond belief. Trying to stay calm, focused and isolated.

*I keep think how odd this is since last week we (me) were panicking she was going to be out snow shoeing in Island Park with Chad.

Shout out to Danielle Kingston A+ Idaho Bail Bonds
She owns a bail bonds company in Rexburg, Idaho. Here’s why she hasn’t helped Lori Vallow yet

“If no one’s coming to your aid, if nobody is coming to post your bond, if nobody is surrounding you and saying you’re a good person .... that’s a red flag for a bail bondsman. That’s where you start seeing it either falls apart because nobody is willing to help.

“If you have no family willing to help and no friends willing to help, why would a bail bondsman be willing to help?” Kingston asked. “If we didn't put all the requirements in place ... then we’re risking a great deal. We take that very seriously,” she said

Cluster F grade for both Chandler PD and Rexburg PD for not treating both scenes as "crime" from the start.

A healthy woman just up and dies at home. Shrug, must be a fluke. Sign off the paperwork. Sorry buddy.

A man gets shot, based on "his" belligerence, statement from shooter. Okay. Whatever.
To clarify, TD died in Salem, ID and the Fremont County Sheriff's office responded. Rexburg PD had nothing to do with that. Lori, Alex, and Melani lived in Rexburg. CD and TD did not. Not far away, but different town, different county, different LE.

This has been answered already. He is in South Africa, and even if he were in Europe, only the elderly or sick missionaries are being sent home. Let’s close this rabbit hole.

I'm sorry, I started it. I was hoping the son would get sent home. I wonder what he has been told via letters and the rare phone calls he is allowed. It must be horrible to lose your mother and not get to go home for her funeral. The funeral happened so fast that I wonder if he was even told or given enough time to get home for it. SA is 8 hours ahead of Rexburg so even if he was called the morning of Tammy's death it was already evening there. Then the total average flight time from SA to Idaho Falls is over 20 hours. With it taking an entire day to get home he likely was given no choice and not enough time to make it home if he had wanted to return for his mothers funeral.

And then to have your father remarry right away and police exhume your mother's body calling the death suspicious, and your new step-siblings you likely never met are missing and your new step-mother arrested... Is it at all possible he is unaware of all these developments? Surely he can't be unaware but what is he being told by Chad and his siblings? I can't imagine staying away to finish a mission under all these pressures. It also seems like it might cause a distraction every time he says his last name is Daybell. His father's name has been in international news. My heart really goes out to the Daybell children. I hope they can see the truth and be a support for each other.

MOO.

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee this morning, but I'm not clear on how Chad helping at the storage unit makes him guilty of this conspiracy beyond a doubt.
RSBM

This is WS, not a court of law. People are found guilty here a lot.:D

Why exactly couldn't police have made in arrest in attempted murder of Brandon? I am more confused than ever about that. They had a video of the Jeep belonging to Charles Vallow. They had Bradon's statements, and Brandon believed that Alex shot at him. Did they even interview Alex?
In the 911 call BB clearly states he did not see who was shooting. LE cannot make an arrest because the eye witness says he doesn't know who it was.

Do we know when BB started saying publicly it was AC? Per the interview with the PI, BB told him it was AC in their initial meeting 10/13. Any evidence he blames AC before that?

I wish I could figure out what the right word is to describe what Lori was doing there. Like an arsonist going back to their intentionally-set fire along combined with the thrill of doing something nefarious right under your victim's nose. It's truly disgusting behavior.

It's like she wanted to make sure no one was onto them and there were no suspicions. Serial Killers do things like that- they skulk around in a crowd at the crime scene or go to community meetings on their crimes to try to ferret out any info the police might have. There is also some kind of "thrill" for them to be in public and know that they have a secret everyone else around them is clueless about. There was no crowd she could hide in to watch Tammy's body taken away and it would have been too obvious if she went to the Utah funeral. So she went to the Idaho Memorial. If anyone asked, she could claim she knew Chad from the podcasts they did with others. All would look very innocent to most... but Lori and Chad shared many secrets and it probably gave them a thrill to glance at each other during the memorial knowing no one else there knew. It's sick. It's twisted beyond what normal people with a conscience can comprehend doing. They had no feelings of shame or fear of getting caught that would have kept most people away. I wonder if Lori and Chad also had a party that night like Lori did after CV's death?
MOO.

So this is irking me. I would love to know why Mr Means originally filed for disqualification without a cause, and then decided to change it to disqualification WITH a cause (conflict of interest), but only AFTER Mr Woods objected to the original request. I know I asked about the original request for disqualification without a cause and someone said it could be a conflict of interest because of Kay and Larry's civil suit, which makes sense, but why didn't MM ask for a disqualification WITH cause from the beginning? Was he hoping that it would just be granted, as each side gets that one opportunity to request disqualification without cause, no questions asked? Or was it because Mr. Woods objected to the motion stating it wasn't filed in a timely manner (2)(a), therefore forcing MM to file for motion to disqualify WITH cause, which may or may not be granted? Or was it because he made an oopsie and overlooked clause (b)(4) of Rule 25 the first time he filed the motion? Am I making sense to anyone else? If not, let me know and I will try to clarify what I mean.

Edit: autocorrect failed me, so I changed the word opposite to oopsie.

Tortoise and AZLawyer and Drc40 addressed this earlier, the motion for 'without cause' was not submitted in a timely manner so it was rejected, forcing Means to try again with his conflict of interest motion.

The prosecutors objected on the basis that they were out of time for the 'without cause' motion because the matter was already contested by that date. So defense responded with a new filing for disqualification 'with cause'.

Do we know how many of those 600+ Hawaii wedding photos L & C purchased? If they truly believed doomsday is soon arriving... why take or purchase photos? Did they also believe wedding photos are important while "gathering and prepping" for the end? JMO but they did NOT believe doomsday was occurring July 2020. Lori only used the "doomsday prediction" words previously - she and Chad did NOTHING to demonstrate they honestly believed these words. None of these doomsday statements NOR the sparing the children from doom is even close to believable to me... because that is not how they behaved. It's just bs fodder to cover the truth of their evil actions. Obviously, this makes me really angry.

I think the key to this may be that they didn't move the seat and tire to storage until several hours after BB was shot at in AZ. It was a failed attempt and they would know that BB saw the Jeep because they followed him for a bit before turning a different way. Plenty of time for someone down in AZ to make a call to Lori in Idaho and say-- "better hide the evidence" in case police come around to talk to you. It would take all day to drive back to Idaho. Then as soon as the Jeep was back, on Oct 3rd they put the seat back in and tire back on. If anyone inquired after that the story was the Jeep never left the state, it was in Lori's garage the whole time (no witnesses to them removing the tire that way). A storage unit was unlikely to be discovered by police without a search warrant. In fact, I believe the police didn't find out about the storage unit until the day the FBI raided the 3 units (Nov 27). The search of the 3 townhouse-apts was in the morning. Then LE called the storage unit owner in the afternoon and showed up to search the storage unit a few hours later. They probably had to get a judge to sign off on a separate warrant for the storage place after finding out about it from the search of Lori's apt. MOO.

Oh look. Yesterday Gray Hughes found the "exact location" our POI and victims were at in Yellowstone.

It would have been cool to have known that information last week when the FBI was asking for information. If only someone could have found it a week ago...

I'm not trying to disparage Gray. I appreciate what he's sharing to another audience. We've just got an awesome group getting the information out here as well.

I need to rewatch his assessment of the Paintball gun attack I recall I had some issues with it.

Gray and I have the same hypothesis, it was Alex with that silenced rifle that can’t shoot straight. Chad calmed her down by saying it was a paintball gun, and he didn’t even see it.

ETA: would love to know the status of any confiscated guns! If they got the actual rifle, and found spent shells at Tammy’s or in the Jeep, they can match with firing pin marks.
