In the 911 call BB clearly states he did not see who was shooting. LE cannot make an arrest because the eye witness says he doesn't know who it was.

Do we know when BB started saying publicly it was AC? Per the interview with the PI, BB told him it was AC in their initial meeting 10/13. Any evidence he blames AC before that?

There is a paragraph blacked out right after he says that. I wonder if he was telling the 911 operator about his soon to be ex-wife's uncle Alex shooting CV in July? My speculation only, and I don't think we know when he first suspected AxC involvement. BB may not have seen the shooter, but at the same time he may have immediately had suspicions about AxC. I'm also wondering if BB waited to go to the PI because perhaps it took a couple weeks for police to find CCTV, enhance the video and confirm the jeep involved was registered to CV? That could have sealed BB's suspicions on AxC's involvement IMO.

SBM

Perhaps the redacted paragraph states something to the affect:
...BB states he did not see who was shooting; however, he saw who was driving and he knew that person to be AxC/XX. He also knew the Jeep to be the one that CV purchased for TR.

FYI older article

Private Investigator Shares New Details On Missing Idaho Kids' Cousin, Family

"On October 2nd on my way home from the gym someone sat outside my home and shot a gun at me they hit my vehicle and missed my head by inches. I have reason to believe that this was related to all of the following events," Brandon Boudreaux wrote on Facebook on December 21.

In a 911 call from the incident, Brandon can be heard telling the dispatcher, "someone just shot my window."

Brandon Boudreaux described those events in the same Facebook post, writing that his wife, Melani, asked him for a divorce in June 2019 after spending time with Lori and "a new religious group, that we refer to as a 'cult.'"

"My wife at this time melani began spending a lot of time with this group, at the end of june she demanded a divorce claiming revelation about things that were not real and there was no evidence given just a claim of being told by the savior," Boudreaux wrote on Facebook.

Robertson said he and Brandon Boudreaux met on Oct. 13.

"He was so anxious that we actually met in my office on a Sunday morning and he told me this wild tale of killing and missing people and religious cults and that he had been the victim of a drive-by shooting," Robertson said.

"Basically, the bottom line for him at that point was he was hoping I could find Alex Cox and the Jeep that Alex was driving, and he hoped that I could find his wife, whom he had lost contact with for about two weeks," Robertson explained. "They were going through a divorce and they were supposed to exchange their four kids and she didn't show up for the last meeting. And then he was the target of the drive-by shooting and he thought that he recognized his assailant as being Alex Cox."

I'm extremely curious what happened between 10/2 and 10/13 that got BB so shook up. He met with his PI on a Sunday?! Seems strange. I'm wondering what happened after the shooting, were there possible threats, did he find out about his wife's possible affair, etc. Just brain storming, only my opinion. Sorry if this was discussed on another thread, I have been following since the end of December but these threads move fast.

Also noting from this same article

"Lori's niece, Melani, and brother followed her to Idaho shortly after. Robertson said he first observed Cox and Melani Boudreaux packing things from her house in Chandler, Arizona, into a U-Haul on October 31 and November 1 before driving up to Rexburg. But Robertson said he watched as Melani, a mother of four young children, and Cox discarded children's items on the curb. "

I'm 100% sure this is on @Gardener1850 fabulous timeline just wanted to bring up that we do know that AC was in AZ 10/31 & 11/1.
I think that was it. Noone knew that Lori and the kids had moved to Rexburg until KVW tracked her down via the Amazon address mid November timeframe. The PI tracked MB moving to Rexburg with Alex's help at the beginning of November.

MOO - it’s super helpful for me to go back and read these initial posts and articles. The sincerity of Brandon’s FB post resonates with me. It was further reinforced in his demeanor with Kay and Larry in court. I think he genuinely cared for Charles. Charles references him in his email to Adam. These men where concerned about their wive. He cares for the Woodcocks as family.

What is interesting to me as well as Raysgirl1126, is the 10/2 -10/13 timeframe. I think Brandon contacted the PI because he lost touch with Melani during this 2 week time period. I would think, despite whatever was going on in their relationship, that he would have reached out to her immediately after he was shot at. To see if she was safe, to insure the safety of their children and to discuss why her Uncle was trying to kill him. The Chandler PD didn’t have the resources to track her down. The police report of this incident has never been released.

One news item that confuses me is this from Lori Vallow's niece knows where missing kids are, is involved in doomsday cult, ex alleges “A detective had begun monitoring her on Nov. 1 after police in Gilbert, Arizona, told them that a vehicle in her possession was used in the alleged attempted murder of Brandon Boudreaux in October 2019.” Who is the detective? PI? Rexburg? Chandler?

Also, I am pleased as punch that Chad has been identified as being in the storage unit on October 2. It is circumstantial, but if LE can tie the Jeep from Rexburg to Gilbert, Chad’s rolling of the tire and helping to lug the car seat have him an overt act in conspiracy to commit murder.

"Melani Boudreaux's new husband "has even provided statements to law enforcement that mother told him shortly after their marriage that she conspired with her uncle to kill father," the documents say, and he "has even given up his own parenting time out of fear of what the mother may do or have done to his children."

IP have given up time with his children because is is scared of what MB/MP will do to them? Am I reading this wrong? It's been along week. TGIF moo

"Many of you have asked about a hearing today in the Lori Daybell case. The judge is expected to say whether he is stepping aside after a motion was filed by her attorneys to have him disqualified. Daybell will not in the courtroom and it will be done telephonically - so we will not have a camera there but Eric Grossarth will have a full report once it's finished (the hearing will likely be very short)."

Also if you are only using your phone (like me), if you turn your phone sideways (landscape), you will see more, like the signature line, post #, etc. Hope that helps!
Lol thank you!! I wondered why I could hold see it on my computer but not from my phone. Awesome advice!

Mormon church has canceled all of their services and are bringing missionaries home due to Coronavirus: Updates on How COVID-19 Is Impacting Saints Worldwide

Will Tammy and Chad's son be sent home from his mission? I don't recall where he is serving overseas but it sounds likely that he will be.

If I'm not as active in this thread it's because I've been over in the coronavirus thread reading until my eyes dry out: Coronavirus COVID-19 *Global Health Pandemic* #21
My husband has been told to work from home. My son is flying home from college today, all of his classes are online until the end of the semester and my local schools are all closed, so middle and HS kids are home. I thankfully have lots of food AND WS threads to keep me from going stir crazy!

Same here, kids home from school for the rest of the month. Went shopping yesterday to stock up on food just in case we somehow end up having to stay in our homes for a couple of weeks. Baffled though by the toilet paper/bottled water hysteria.

It was a Gilbert PD detective monitoring Lori from Nov 1st. It's in the affidavit of probable cause, item number 7 on page 3: READ: The documents charging Lori Vallow Daybell | East Idaho News

BBM. Your own son sits on the side of the prosecution. That speaks volumes. Jmo
Precisely my words as well! I wondered prior to the hearing which side he would be on. Yep, ITA speaks volumes!

Colorado 'Evangelist' visits Rexburg to pray for community and missing kids

12 Mar 2020

REXBURG – A Colorado evangelist felt God calling him to visit Rexburg to pray for a community experiencing the loss of two children and whose mother refuses to cooperate with police in finding them.

Joe Shortino arrived in Rexburg on Tuesday and brought with him his 200 pound wooden cross. Attached to the cross are an American Flag and Prisoner of War flag and a crown of thorns.

“The Lord specifically told me that I should come to Rexburg. I’m here to pray for your town and the people. I know there’s been a lot of stuff going on here specifically with the missing children. The Lord said that’s why I’m here - to pray for the town,” he said.

Hi, no. It is in Brandon’s answer to Melani’s custody request.

My local Costco was out of TP when I went shopping earlier in the week, but the space where the TP normally would be was filled with additional paper towels and bottled water.

Off topic for a second. I've been lurking in several social media groups since this case started and have seen several instances where things written here have been copied and posted elsewhere. Today takes the cake ... that is so not cool. Carry on
