SJMO, MB could miss visitation to pick-up her kids in case she thought that BB will be dead in few days and she will get them anyway.

I think she missed the early October visitation with her kids (right before the shooting of BB) because her uncle was in town with his gun and the jeep, staying with her and planning the hit. It wouldn't be good to have MBP's children around as witnesses to this. So she just blew off the visitation.

It's more that the kind of person who even tries to stand up and be funny doesn't fit with the mental picture I had of him as a murderous and probably ignorant . It appears this is a lot more complicated than it might seem on the surface.

I understand helping families in need when there’s a crisis, birth, death and illness in a family. I guess getting together with fellow church-going members would provide a social outing and an educational experience. Out of curiosity, what type of homemaking does one learn?

Tortoise, others have basically answered your question. But, as a former member of the LDS Church (and technically still a member), I can tell you specifically that Enrichment is the name given to a series of meetings of adult LDS women. The meetings are held regularly but not weekly and always during the week. Although all LDS meetings have a religious component--guaranteed, they would have started and ended with a prayer and the activity would have been explicitly tied to a religious principle--Enrichment is one of several meetings in which the activities themselves are focused more on teaching practical skills.

According to an official website of the LDS Church, "The purposes of [Enrichment] are to strengthen faith in Jesus Christ and to teach parenting and homemaking skills" (First Presidency Announces New Guidelines for Enrichment Meetings and Activities). Most of the time, these are skills that would be interesting to people outside the faith. Food prep, including making meals for freezing, would have been a very typical Enrichment activity.

Two things are interesting about this particular Enrichment meeting. The first is the overt "prepper" element. This is the kind of activity where mainstream LDS and preppers would have a common interest. The second is that only someone in Tammy's ward (congregation) would be likely to know when the meeting would have started and how long it was likely to run. So assuming the paintball gun shooter didn't turn up at the Daybell house at a random time and wasn't hanging out all evening, they would have to be, or at least have been briefed by, someone in the Daybell ward. In other words, Tammy's Facebook post is strong evidence that the paintball attack was an inside job.

That’s something that has got me bugged! They have all this location data and much more evidence than we have, yet no rescue/retrieval search for the kids has commenced.

I realize they need a strong case for all the alleged murders, but sadly those folks are no longer alive - how is this helping find the missing kids?

Perhaps they feel that more charges/arrests will add the necessary pressure for someone to crack.

I don't know about JJ, but it's really not possible to do any meaningful searches for Tylee in Yellowstone National Park yet. It's still deep winter there.

In this situation, I don't think that the prosecution is going to be willing to make a plea deal. LV will no doubt be convicted of the charges against her, and probably receive the maximum penalty for each charge. I read that would total about 30 years.

I don't think that she will be getting any type of pre release parole either.

Of course her attorney wants to plead it out, and move on. LV probably won't deal.

I bet they'd take a plea deal in exchange for the truth about where the kids are.

I still think Alex was killed to cover up what happened to the kids and/or stop further investigation into CV’s death. And Tylee was disappeared because she knew what really happened when CV was shot. JJ was disappeared because he wouldn’t keep quiet about Tylee being gone. Or maybe because Tylee wasn’t around anymore to take care of him and Lori didn’t want the hassle of dealing with him anymore.

How did they do it from Hawaii though? They were there from 1st December and they didn't know about Tammy's exhumation till 11th December.

AxC sure does seem like a bad guy when you read that, but I keep coming back to the thought we are all more complicated. I'm not saying AxC didn't do some bad things and karma didn't get him but I keep thinking here on WS we are giving him too much credit. Or placing too much blame on him. I'm not finding the right words, sorry.

AxC is a part of a bigger story of that involves him but isn't ultimately much about him. Does that make sense? I should go to sleep...

Just out of curiosity. .. Do we know if the wife of JM participated in the development of podcasts. In that one podcast with JM, Melanie, and Lori, JM certainly seemed to be the "ringleader", the main guy. So just wonder if his (relatively new) wife was involved, maybe behind the scenes.



I think we had a video clip of AxC doing some comedy, AdC's radio show. Is that the one you are thinking of???

I saw the radio one where he mimicked silly cartoon voices, but there is another one in a comedy club where he does a standup routine. I will see if I can find it.

I think it's possible that the kids were disappeared partly because Chad, Lori and Alex didn't want them to witness the preparations for killing Brandon and Tammy.
Lori labeled the children dark spirits before as a way of dissociating from them and that might have had terrible consequences.

ITA. If Tylee met her fate on Sept 8th at the hands of AxC, there may have been a minuscule shred of guilt on AxC's part, as she is not only his niece, but still a child. Maybe this spelled trouble to Lori, especially once TD was exhumed, and LVD had her good friend ZP take care of the loose end, you know, to keep ZP from being ratted out as well. I'm sure LVD manipulated the situation enough to make it appear it was in all of their best interest to have AxC gone. MOO

If we assume/believe AxC was doing the dirty work for LVD....responsible for the deaths and attempted murders of the adults....how does that extend to the kids?

Usually there is a pattern and I have a hard time believing he could take the lives of the kids in the middle of everything else. For just the $? Seems off.

I can see being fed lies about Lori’s husbands and wanting to protect her, but that’s kinda where it ends for me...how does that extend to the kids (unless he was a true believer - was he?).

For me it also seems off ... It seems to me that family ties of LV, AC, MB are very strong to the extent of blindly following (LV in this case), so at least TR would be most probably considered as own blood. Even for psychopaths, though they can't love, but their own kids are often treated as extension of their own self or dear possession. I also think it's worth remembering that TR was almost an adult and could be a part of this cult due to her mom's influence. Plus, is this a coincidence that JJ disappears exactly on the day of TR's birthday (or very close to this date)? All this makes me think/hope that TR is somewhere taking care of JJ, and 3 weeks difference was for them to prepare dwelling for him JMO

I still don't know if being a flight risk (due to the possibility of upgraded charges and based on her history) or not being able to raise the collateral was the reason she's still in jail. Maybe it was both. If the bail is further reduced at some point, does the risk decrease as well?

That would seem to have been why BB said MBP knows where they are. But she denies knowing where they are. And in the likely event that the "safe place" is really some convoluted justification for murder... then MBP may have been unwittingly fooled into thinking there was such a place. And yet, like CD, there is public evidence that MBP was involved in criminal activity and hasn't yet been arrested. This case is truly bizarre in how long it takes to get people in custody. Every week and month that passes, I think, wow, there must be a lot of criminals in the western usa getting away with a lot more. People are posting about how LVD can beat the abandonment charges without producing children. Seriously? As if this case is about abandonment. Sure there is a lot of evidence to sift through, and that will snowball the charges, if the prosecution is competent. If the deaths all become murders, those cases need not be prosecuted at the same time. There can be back to back trials and incarcerations, that should keep LVD inside for life. Even if she is declared legally insane, no way she should set foot in society again. If the FBI thinks this is a huge network of criminal activity, you can't always get everyone. There are often people that are just involved on the fringes, it gets harder and harder to prove their link to the specific conspiracies around the deaths, attempted murders and missing children. I have seen nothing that extends murders, attempted murders or missing children from CD or other "cult" members, that is not directly tied to LVD. For example, I mean if other cult members have a similar pattern in their lives, its not been reported. So, on the wall where FBI puts up photos and draws lines, all I can see is LVD right in the middle. Next to the "queen, or self proclaimed god" is brother AxC (1 confirmed kill, 2 or 3 attempted murders, possibly tied to death of sister(MBP's mother) , 2 other "deaths" which are under investigation, other criminal activity, and then his own mystery death), then CD whose late wife's(TD) fresh corpse was recently exhumed while honeymooning in paradise with new wife LVD. Then MBP, the niece of LVD, who apparently decided to follow LVD as a role model. Then ZP, who as a more curious peripheral "member" marries AxC 2 weeks before his mystery death AND about the same time MBP marries IP in Vegas(not clear if IP is really in the "club" or just another unwitting mark).
Other Family cant be sleuthed, but appears they are estranged and not in the club anyway. BB, ex of MBP, literally dodged a bullet. He is clearly no longer in the club. More recent 2 of LVD's 4 previous husbands are dead(1 murdered by AxC). LVD's 2 children are missing, a few weeks apart for going on 6 months now.

So there appears to be a rapid decline in membership of this club. If there are any other members, missing or dead, please bring it to light. As for the doomsday authors/believers, unless they were involved, or were asked to be involved Criminally (Like MG was asked by CD and LVD to lie to LE about having JJ... Or those who heard CD "predict" TD's death) they don't seem to matter. If there are other deaths, life insurance collected, missing kids in that community it hasn't been reported. Therefore LVD's death/missing club marrying into CD's on/off life as gravedigger and hallucinatory end times profiteer appears to have created a new "cult" that morbidly has an immediate following of supporters (albeit Social Media).

We have to remember that there is no Insanity Plea in Idaho!!!
