I bet they'd take a plea deal in exchange for the truth about where the kids are.

If she harmed the kids and there's not enough proof of that she's much better off keeping quiet. IMO the current charges would lead to a less severe punishment than a plea deal in that case.

IF the attempt on BB's life had not failed (and MBp was not a suspect) would she (MBp) have been given custody of their children??

I felt she had her self planted with an alibi somehow so there would be no issue of her getting the kids. That is why I have a hard time thinking she was the side driver in the shooting. She would know his exercise schedule best, but no one would have anyone following his car! I doubt there are a whole whole bunch of Teslas running around the suburbs of Phoenix..

There are no news on MG that I know of (and she can't be sleuthed here). I agree that she appears to be cooperating with LE after Chad and Lori tried to make her break the law by lying to authorities for them.

This is an interesting point. We really don’t know anything about their “group” or “cult”. We don’t know how many there are and if martyrdom is a principle they accept and support. I think the emails released of the FBI researching JM and the “group that cannot be named” point to the Feds interest in the extent of both direct involvement as well as indirect support.

We have had some interesting posts here of church members who see these various groups with differing degrees of beliefs out there on SM - but other than AVOW, we haven’t seen anyone aligned publicly behind Chad. I was interested in seeing if there was any relationship between Chad and and Remnant (off-shoot group An offshoot of the Mormon church is drawing away members. But what does the ‘Remnant’ believe — and will it last?) as Chad considers himself a visionary, one who can see through the “veil” but further research points to AVOW considering Remnant apostate. Of note, the founder of Remnant wrote a book in 2006 called “The Second Comforter: Conversing With the Lord Through the Veil”. I can’t help but think Chad was appropriating techniques from this group on how to form his own off-shoot.

So, back to your comment - maybe Chad’s supporters expect and accept martyrs. COVID-19 is playing right into their philosophy. Maybe Chad can and will lead them in their beliefs from his cell in the Idaho State Prison. If he is lucky his cellmate will be a believer. Chad can declare them one of the 144K...

I think it was a money thing. He got paid for the dirty work. Then, they exhumed TD. Could LV have told ZP to off him with the exhuming of TD's body? That had to of been a moment where they all were like - "Uh-Oh". Or, like many have said, did he kill himself?

I truly think that karma caught up. Had the kids not been missing, these past murders would have never been looked at again most likely. They uncovered a murder ring and I don't think LD thought that would ever happen.

And if CV hadn’t been killed, I don’t think the kids would be missing.

I think Melanie knows exactly where those kids are, she was in tight with lori and I think in on the plan to do away with hubby, I just can't believe otherwise, I think she continues to remain loyal to lori

ITA. If Tylee met her fate on Sept 8th at the hands of AxC, there may have been a minuscule shred of guilt on AxC's part, as she is not only his niece, but still a child. Maybe this spelled trouble to Lori, especially once TD was exhumed, and LVD had her good friend ZP take care of the loose end, you know, to keep ZP from being ratted out as well. I'm sure LVD manipulated the situation enough to make it appear it was in all of their best interest to have AxC gone. MOO

I would like to know what the plan was.for chad and lori.if she hadn't been arrested, were they just gonna hang out in Hawaii till their money ran out, by this time they had killed everyone with.life insurance?

We have to remember that there is no Insanity Plea in Idaho!!!

Okay Neighbors-
Something really weird just happened, and I want you to know so you can
watch out.
I had gotten home and parked in our front driveway. As I was getting stuff
out of the back seat, a guy wearing a ski mask was suddenly standing by
the back of my car with a paintball gun. He shot at me several times,
although I don't think it was loaded. I yelled for Chad and he ran off around
the back of my house.
I have no idea what his motive was, and he never spoke, even after I asked
him several times what he thought he was doing. I was about to smack him
with my freezer meals from Enrichment tonight when I decided to yell for
Chad instead.

Are you referring to Melani (Lori's niece, note the lack of -e at the end of her name), or Melanie (the podcaster, with an -e at the end of her name)? Because as far as has been reported Melanie the podcaster has been cooperating with LE, does not seem to know where the kids are, and doesn't appear to support Lori anymore. Just want to be clear so that we're not mixing up identities accidentally.

Which Melanie and which hubby? If you're referring to Melanie Gibb, she was Lori's podcaster friend. There's no indication that se was involved in Charles' death and considering that she wouldn't lie for Lori to police, wasn't in on the kids' disappearance. If you're talking about Lori's niece Melani Boudreaux, Lori did have quite an influence over her. Lori likely played a part in the murder attempt on Melani's husband Brandon, if you take into account the shenanigans in the Rexburg storage on October 2nd and 3rd. As far as we know, Melani was not in Rexburg when the kids dissappeared. I doubt she was in on the plan, though she might have been told something about the kids' whereabouts/fate afterwards. I don't think she knows where they are.

JMO, I don't know if he had life insurance, but on or about Feb 20th, ZP filed something with the court I think, that may have been re: any of his assets. Can't quite remember the details, so maybe someone else here can chime in . His employer was mentioned previously, but I can't remember that either, at the moment. Boy, I sure am a big help today. Lol

So I was reading the article again about Mary Tracy, AxC's friend. Posting an excerpt below:

"Tracy said Cox sent her four letters, and in the letters, he usually found a way to mention his ex-brother in law.

One letter excerpt read "Do me a favor. Call Janis. Ask her to put Joe's address on a post card and his license plate number. I think it will be popular here."

The "Janis" mentioned in the letter is Cox's mother.

In another letter, Tracy said Cox wrote "P.S., can you get a picture from Lori of one of her ex-husbands and send it to me? Some of the guys would like to hang out with him."

Okay, so it seems his mother is sort of okay with this kind of stuff. And who keeps a list of license plate numbers of the their family members? Or if asked to go get the license plate number and send it...wouldn't that be an enormous clue that the person is up to no good? Especially when asking from prison? Also, note the way he asks Mary to get a pic of JR in the last paragraph. I wonder which of his previous prison buddies he is still in touch with, if any.

She must be some friend, if she knows who "Janis" is from the mere mention of her first name. My best friend of 25+ years doesn't know/remember any of my family's names except that of my sister; and largely it's because both her first name and nickname are unusual. Does that mean she's been to his parents' house? Not saying/meaning anything else by this, but it's unusual. Alex must talk about his mother a lot.
