I’m almost positive I read it on here. I don’t really follow this case on other sites besides EIN. Sometimes my friends send me texts from other sites on stuff they see because they know I’m following this case. But I looked thru my texts and it wasn’t in there. I asked other WSer’s to help me find where I read it so we will see what they come up with. MOO

Probably better to know laws in AZ, rather than idaho, since AC/ZPSHExyz and MBp/IP all ended up back in Arizona.

The laws of the place where the crime occurred would apply. So either ID or AZ--or maybe somewhere in between.

Had to have been raised Mormon.. who knew in later years..but he seemed close to parents--they were all named together on those lawsuits, and obviously was close to Lori, and seemed to be close to AdC at one point.

Just, we've seen a photo of them young that calls into question being what would be called active Mormons, just active enough for Lori to go to seminary, which isn't actually all that telling of being really involved as a family. I've seen or heard nothing that tells me AxC was thinking of himself as Mormon either as a teenager or adult. I don't think it's insightful to think of him through that lens. MOO

There are no news on MG that I know of (and she can't be sleuthed here). I agree that she appears to be cooperating with LE after Chad and Lori tried to make her break the law by lying to authorities for them.

hmmmm. Is DW connected to MG??? Anyone have any guesses/knowledge on SL.

MG wrote a book called Feel the Fire that CD wrote a foreword for. DW is a fellow podcaster who does podcasts under the banner of MG's Feel the Fire book. They will all know each other as they do podcasts together, including LV.

MBP is not a podcaster and is LVD's niece and the ex of BB.

i definitely do not disagree with you. But it only adds to my wonders of Lori really ever being a Mormon. Were her children taught Mormon beliefs? Were they baptised in the Church? Did they even go to Church. I am fairly certain that the first four husbands were not Mormon. I know Charles converted, but believe we have seen comments that even he was a better "practicing Mormon" imo imo. This is why I keep hoping we can learn more and investigate more about the parents.... I donno..... I just feel as much as we try to psychoanalyze Lori, we know NOTHING, unless we understand her underlying roots and upbringing.

There is a lot of talk today about MG, some related to the delay in her contacting LE Dec 6 after they contacted her to ask about JJ on Nov 26. I thought this was significant and posted about it earlier but it was pointed out to me: MG was contacted by local Gilbert LE, at the request of Rexburg LE, to ask if JJ was with her. She did not hide or evade the question or lie. As soon as LE reached her Nov 26 she told them the truth. The Dec 6 date is when she called Rexburg PD. Dec 6 is not the first time she talked to LE about JJ.

MOO, MG is not part of the JJ's disappearance.

From the timeline:
26 Nov 2019, about 9:30 pm - Rexburg PD have not heard from MG so they call Gilbert PD. LE in Arizona go to MG’s home but she is not there. GPD reaches MG by phone; She tells them JJ has not been there for several months. (Affidavit of Probable Cause Doc; East Idaho News)

At a minimum we know that she was at least semi-active in church while in Hawaii which is how she met her friend April. I'm also going to guess that she or someone in her family was at least somewhat active in Arizona because the cover picture on Tylee's Facebook page is a picture of one of the Phoenix area temples, NOT something a typical 17 year old is going to do, period, in my experience. I can't imagine Tylee came to the point of doing that on her own.

None of which is an argument that Lori was following the teachings of the Mormon church, only that I think it likely that she was going through the motions of doing so, at a minimum, and possibly spinning things she was doing that appeared to be outside of the norm as "following a higher law," one way the mainstream church has of excusing/gaslighting when those in power stray, so IMO, not that far outside of the norm if Tylee has observed that in other situations.
