Oh I agree, but I think Chad is getting better sleep than the Dooms Daybell Black Widow.
For some reason I don't picture Lori having trouble sleeping at night. IMO she's so cocky/delusional she'll believe till the end that she can get away with it all.

Agreed on the first part (it could have happened outside LDS), but I don't see Chad as a victim or someone who was led astray. After all, he had "visions" of Tammy dying years before he met Lori. It was him, along with his writer buddies, who had "special gifts" and used them to manipulate people around him, as well as make money off of it.
I agree, I think Chad has been a willing participant and could even have instigated this. Remember the fake email he got Lori to send to him, supposedly from Charles to fool Tammy? Look how he dropped JR like a hot potato when she was ex'd. Look how he manipulated Tammy to do what he wanted. He moved to Rexburg to accomplish all this. He looks harmless and his picture when he was young reminds me of pics of Dexter. KVW herself said that Lori was a wonderful mother. What went wrong is that she met Chad. IMO.

I just had a thought, maybe Lori will throw Chad under the bus to save herself.

JR’s death solves custody issues with Tylee immediately. Not saying he was murdered, but money certainly wasn’t the only thing to gain. MOO[/QUOT
IIRC Manson thought he was JC, and his followers were the reincarnation of the original christians. Then again, he also followed scientology, MOO.
What about Bundy? I will stand by my opinion. Can't take the crazy out of crazy. LV.

I agree, but I think she is so self involved that she is probably feeling scared. No man near her, no money, no makeup. But she doesn't lose sleep over her dirty deeds, imo.

Appearances. If she were a wonderful mother, she wouldn't kill her kids. That is your only real job the minute you have a child.

But then it was both of them. It can't be one or just the other. My point was that if he never met Lori, he would keep writing his books, maybe would have cheated and gotten a new wife, but murder? I just don't think so. Lori's brother was her hit man as far as I can tell, so mix two crazies together and you get a crazy shake. I agree he is guilty, but he was on the fence, Lori gave him hubris, courage, etc.

Also, if he had special gifts, why not predict lottery numbers? Not a good psychic for sure.

His lottery winnings were provided by his supporters, who were willing to pay for his revelations in books, conferences and forums.

You could also say that Lori wouldn't have derailed if she hadn't read his books. I think they are as bad as each other. If it weren't for this Lori, another could have taken her place. On cheating: once a cheater...

Touche. But, the lottery would have been way more efficient, wouldn't have hurt anyone, and he'd be sitting pretty as I type. Hashtag, Chad is a fraud. Lori, too.

Cheating isn't murder. Probably feels like it if your heart is broken, but still, it isn't taking a life. He also stole from his flock, he is/was a charlatan. And now he is a murderer. (allegedly)

This would be good news...one less victim in the wake of the storm. If there was no insurance policy, I can't imagine why LV would have motive to kill JR.

My guess: If one of Tylee's parents dies, Tylee receives monthly surviving child benefits from Social Security. I think it used to be that a child received that benefit until age 22, but not sure what current law is.

ETA: I don't know, but wonder if Tylee would also have received surviving child benefits from Charles Vallow's death.

Yeah, cheating isn't illegal. And then there's murder and child murder. The latter is the worst. How could someone be OK with that? This is next level evil.

Right. Manson had some fringe religion going on in his stuff. Whether he believed it or was just crazy and used it to manipulate his followers, I can't say. TBH, I feel that way about the majority of religion at times. I can be a profoundly positive influence on lives, but also extremely negative. Few lasting religions don't have examples of both. MOO.

When my brother died a few years ago, his kids both got checks. Unfortunately his estranged wife didn't allow contact with my family, so not sure how much or how long it pays out. It didn't seem like a lot of money to me when I googled the average, but that is all relative if you have nothing or more than enough, But it didn't seem like enough to kill someone to get those benefits. Life insurance on the other hand seems to be a motive for a lot of people.

Visions of Tammy dying years before Lori????????? I don't think so.

I think it is one benefit check, that is probably the first fail safe the government monitors, or it would be fleecing the system. They need to monitor life insurance though...

I agree. As stated earlier, he was just a dreamer. It appears that Tammy had the steadier work ethic while he was in and out of some non-powerful jobs. I still think Tammy probably (imo) took the bankruptcy harder. They probably both should have been working "harder" to get back to some sense of financial stability, but no, he convinces her to move to Rexburg. The statement given by his own brother says a lot.
I really do think he is a selfish doofus. but not a murderer, on his own.

Lori was "bad" long before Chad, in my mind. She might have faked a lot of people out. But she certainly turned AxC so against JR, sending AxC to jail, AxC sending those letters from jail, and probably offing him too. She turned the kids against their fathers. I bet there are other stories. moo. moo.
But it WAS TOGETHER that made all this happen. They truly are
Azidoazide azide!!! ( I looked that up!!)
