I would love to know what the current conversations are amongst CD and his children, friends, fellow doomsayers are. Do they know where the children are? If not, do any of them look CD in the face and ask where they are? Are his children covering his a#$? Are they afraid of him? Do they seriously follow his beliefs? Will one of his posse break free and expose this craziness?
I believe he has at least one son and his wife living in TD’s and CD’s home. What ITH do they talk about while the 800 lb gorilla stares them down? It seems so creepy to me that somehow they believe their lives are normal. This is not normal. JMOO.

I've wondered the same thing. I think that they are afraid and maybe putting their heads in the sand.

Lori was "bad" long before Chad, in my mind. She might have faked a lot of people out. But she certainly turned AxC so against JR, sending AxC to jail, AxC sending those letters from jail, and probably offing him too. She turned the kids against their fathers. I bet there are other stories. moo. moo.
But it WAS TOGETHER that made all this happen. They truly are
Azidoazide azide!!! ( I looked that up!!)
Wow, I was off. Poison. I wonder if they can find that in the toxi report. Hopefully so!

Dec 11 - TD body is exhumed
Dec 12 - AlexC dies

I live close to Rexburg. I found out at work the morning of Dec 11th about TD. I know that people closer to the case found out even sooner than I did. This kind of news travels very fast in a small town.
THANK YOU !!
I thought I had seen that he died day after or few days after TD body exhumed.
Just another thing to make us go Hmmmmm ?
Coincidence ??? The DAY AFTER ???
I think not, JMO

Visions of Tammy dying years before Lori????????? I don't think so.
It was a claim made by Julie Rowe, Chad's writer friend. She also had similar visions herself. Julie has known Chad for about 6 years. They were good friends. According to Julie, Chad first met Lori in the fall 2018.

I think a lot of people posting here have a nagging thought that maybe, just maybe, there IS some reason that the children have been hidden. Maybe what Chad is telling people IS true?? Maybe they ARE still alive.

If, after all of the information people who post to WS have gathered about the people and events in this case, there is nagging doubt...I understand why the Daybell family, with their very personal connections in this case, are fully invested in the children being alive. Everything they knew about their father falls apart the minute they start to believe the children are gone. I can easily see how they are very, very afraid of engaging that in their mind, for reasons that go well beyond "I really want the children to be found alive, safe and well."

I agree, I think Chad has been a willing participant and could even have instigated this. Remember the fake email he got Lori to send to him, supposedly from Charles to fool Tammy? Look how he dropped JR like a hot potato when she was ex'd. Look how he manipulated Tammy to do what he wanted. He moved to Rexburg to accomplish all this. He looks harmless and his picture when he was young reminds me of pics of Dexter. KVW herself said that Lori was a wonderful mother. What went wrong is that she met Chad. IMO.

Is it known that this was his idea?

I just had a thought, maybe Lori will throw Chad under the bus to save herself.

Ask Husband #3 and Husband #4 about that, and I think you'll have your answer.

I think Chad's children would easily believe that Lori's kids were safe and if not, that their father had nothing to do with their disappearance. I think they would be hit the hardest if there's proof that he was involved in their mother's death.

I will have to check again, but I still think the visions of Tammy dying were in the Lori timeframe. And we don't know for sure when Chad and Lori met. I, for one, feel that they were intimate "pen pals" for a good while earlier. moo.

My guess: If one of Tylee's parents dies, Tylee receives monthly surviving child benefits from Social Security. I think it used to be that a child received that benefit until age 22, but not sure what current law is.

ETA: I don't know, but wonder if Tylee would also have received surviving child benefits from Charles Vallow's death.
Untill age 18, 22 if in college full time.

link in the related pages frame on one said CD’s relation. That leads me to believe that this person at least is under their spell. MOO.
I'm fairly new on this site, so forgive my ignorance, but what are "related pages frame"? I've googled their families too, just unsuccessfully. I saw CD's kids fb page, but my p I've been stuck at home with the shut down, so rabbit holes are my new normal. But you have me curious...Now I must know and google.

But why would they think her children are safe? Safe from their grandparents, their blood family? CV was related to JJ, Tylee was close with them, why would Lori hide them to keep them safe? And where? They are safe in a sense, they are out of her grasp but are they alive? Math says no.

Yes, there was another place he mentioned in the same excerpt that was near there but seemed remote and he said they would be safe from "tanks" I think? But I looked it up at the time, and there was like a community that built houses into the rock. Can't remember the name. Patriot's something? Maybeo_O

I think it's Soldier's Gap or something like that? Kind of a ghost town in 1973, just a few people living there. I think it was originally a refueling spot for trains, or something like that. It looked like the buildings were hiding from the weather, so I can see it being appealing for somebody looking for a hideout.

I seem to recall a body of water--Strawberry Lake, maybe? So they'd have a water supply, too.

If they are drinking Chad's Kool-Aid, they (like Christopher Parrett) believe that the grandparents are evil and that the kids are in hiding for their protection. (IMO)

Tammy... Start @12:30ish.
Thanks for the reminder. I do remember it now! But, since I have felt they were pen-pals for a while... I just feel they knew each other well sometime between when she started reading his books and when they first met.

Think it is "soldier's summit" Wikepedia!

That is sad. There is no evil in the grandparents. Their hearts are breaking, they regret giving that little boy to them. They thought they were helping, his parents couldn't care for him. So he was handed off twice. Horrible.

Well another interesting story... Now that i have read the story, could you remind me of what it relates to.

It's one of the places Chad mentioned looking into for his hideaways.

  • #1,258
It was mentioned in one of CD's books as a place that would be good to wait out the last days. I've been wondering if the kids are stashed in one of the areas he mentioned in his books. I frankly think more focus shoild be placed on trying to find places where they stashed the kids. I just don't have time right now to delve into his books. I just mentioned this place from an excerpt posted threads ago, along with someplace near there. "Patriot's" something. I can't recall the exact name?

Having read one of Chad's books years ago, I agree that there are a lot of clues there.

I think Chad’s adult children have just been through way too much the last few months - losing their mother unexpectedly for starters - that their brains just can’t process the ramifications of their father being involved. I can’t even imagine trying to wrap my brain around all that. It’s difficult enough for us as outsiders to fathom the awful deeds that have potentially been performed. I remember when I first heard about the case thinking there was just no way Lori’s children could permanently be gone (I can’t even type it!); but all of the ancillary deaths and random paintball gun shootings seem to dictate a more sinister reality. Having so many crazy things happen really defies the odds. I think as more evidence comes in (the storage unit butt pat, for one) I predict it’s going to be an extremely tough landing/reality for them. I hope they will be surrounded by kind people who can help them get through it, as this really is not of their making. I also remember the footage of the daughter making faces out of her car; inappropriate humor can surface during times of stress and grief, and this may have been a display of that (and I did find it very odd and annoying). I think overall it is just too much for them to deal with; key word: denial.
