LOL. And you obviously have been to Rexburg. (But if you were looking to live the high life you'd probably go east instead of west to Rexburg, right?)

MOO

Before I retired my wife would drive me from Teton Valley to Rexburg to take the Salt Lake Express to SLC. I then hopped a plane for work. The pickup was at the AmericInn, a quaint but nice motel off of Hwy 20. The area is known for its expansive barley farms, of which Anheuser Busch buys approx. 90%. Teton Valley is known for its skiing, climbing, hiking, fishing, biking. The valley has three small towns, Tetonia, Driggs, and Victor. It’s called the quiet side of the Tetons. Then you have Jackson Hole on the east side of the Tetons, gorgeous but getting too crowded. This is the high life area, big bucks. It’s fun to go there when family and friends visit, and it's the gateway to GTNP as well as the south entrance to YNP. When the weather improves maybe I’ll drive by CD’s place and let him know we need answers.

I lived in the Teton Valley for 2 or 3 months about 50 years ago. It has changed a bunch since then.

So much has, but we digress...hah. I promise to try and stay on topic for the remainder, stay safe everyone, earthquakes, virus, any one for locusts? MOO

So I was poking around looking at earthquake news.

Earthquake Maps Reveal Higher Risks for Much of U.S.
And
Hundreds of Earthquakes Strike Central Idaho
And
Bhutan Earthquake Opens Doors to Geophysical Studies - Eos
I was wondering is this where CD came up with his predictions? LOL I was bored. Him and the future Queen of his double wife trailer were on my mind. These articles were published before his book about the earthquake. The article from National Geographic lists Idaho for greater risks of earthquake. The third article is about a earthquake that hit a Himalayan town and killed 9000 people.

Found this one of Chad’s blog posts, mentioning Tammy being in the hospital and, as she went away to an operating room for surgery, Chad was thinking that this was not Tammy’s time to die....

“I got an urgent call one morning at work that Tammy felt something was wrong. Her mom Phyllis was taking her to the Payson Hospital and I should meet her there. When I arrived, Tammy was in a hospital gown waiting for her doctor to see her. She was lying on a bed and explained how she felt something pop deep inside her. As we talked, she suddenly started bleeding heavily, and it turned into a frantic situation. I gave her a quick priesthood blessing, then the nurses rushed her into an operating room. Phyllis and I got out of the way and then waited anxiously. I snuck down the hall and peered through the room’s small window. All I could see was the top of Tammy’s head as several nurses and two doctors surrounded her. I was scared, but I also felt it wasn’t Tammy’s time to die.“

Nothing better to do so I thought I'd count up the number of nights she has been in a jail cell. It's 40. :D

Wow...that has a nice ring to it..........."40 days and 40 nights..........

I have a hunch all Chad’s told Lori is “he’s building a new house”. She’ll likely be pretty cranky if she ever lays eyes on it. I doubt he has much experience responding to psychological warfare. I’d love to be a fly on the wall as he experiences her full tongue-lashing/cold-shoulder/passive-aggressive arsenal. He won’t know what hit him and he’s going to wish she was still in jail.

I don't know who in their right mind would give him a loan at this time. I don't think he is a good risk. :D

LOL. You've never been to Rexburg, have you? :)
Actually I have, once, on a cross country camping trip after camping in WY and YNP area. Didn't spend the night there in Rexburg, just kept going... lol. Oddly enough, LDS missionaries that came to my house last summer were from that area, and I live a long way from ID. Wow, were they glad to see something different. And I did drive to SLC after that and camped in that area.

Bolded by me-- I feel the need to point out again that Kay and Larry are NOT trying to get custody of JJ at this time. The state of Idaho has legal custody of JJ and Tylee currently. Kay and Larry filed for guardianship, which would allow the state to temporarily place JJ with them instead of a foster home if he's found alive. The guardianship they originally filed for would only be for 6 months after he was found and they would have to ask the court for custody after that, depending on how Lori's court case works out. I guarantee LE is not waiting for the outcome of Kay and Larry's case. The opposite is probably true, however, that the family court judge might not be making any ruling on JJ's guardianship placement until Lori's case is decided. MOO.

Some source links: ID - ID - Joshua Vallow, 7, & Tylee Ryan, 17, Rexburg, Sept 2019 *MEDIA MAPS TIMELINE* NO DISCUSSION

Grandparents of JJ Vallow file for guardianship as state agency investigates children's safety | East Idaho News

ETA one more source- this is where I got the "6 months" info from: Woodcocks seek temporary custody of grandson J.J. Vallow
(ignore the word "custody" used incorrectly in the headline as the article talks about KW & LW filing for guardianship)
Thanks for clearing up the confusion created by the press. Do you have insight then into how the legal process will unfold then, with no proof of life and no bodies being found?

I've just read all of that piece you linked to. What an absolute crock.

He describes having a mischievous toddler son and as a result going to the temple to pray and contemplate his family's future!

Leading to receiving a vision into the future of standing 10 feet away from his five grown up kids wearing church clothes, knowing at the time of writing he has a photograph showing exactly that. What a gift!!

I think his graphic description of Tammy's caesarian section is unnecessary and his choice of the word "slice" seems to cross a boundary, with me anyway. I think it shows an odd sort of detachment from the experience for Tammy.

Why would you need a loan when you received a large life insurance payment. Oh, wait they were living the high life in Hawaii.

That is the house where Tammy died, a few miles outside of Rexburg. Chad hasn't actually lived in the city limits of Rexburg. In fact, it is technically in the next county (but barely). That's why the Fremont County sheriff has been involved in Tammy's death whereas the Rexburg PD and (possibly?) Madison County Sheriff have been those involved with the missing kids.
Would it be safe to say TD was murdered at this point? Because by now autopsy results and toxicology should have been completed. If there was nothing there, why not make it public? Otherwise, I'd think they found something and that something must stay confidential because it is evidence for pending proceedings. So by deduction, she was murdered, we just don't know the details yet. On the other hand if they had the results and know she was murdered, are they obligated to at least say it was homicide with no futher details? The inconsistencies between states and counties when it comes to reporting on autopsies seems to cloud things, or if it becomes an FBI case then the rules can change.

That, and the pipeline for new policies to collect on is a bit dry at the moment.
