So, if Lori gets life in prison, will she be able to write an autobiography?

She can take the state of Idaho to court and get the Son of Sam law struck down I think. The US Supreme Court has ruled it unconstitutional so it is only on the books because nobody has legally challenged it. In other states where the Son of Sam law was struck down new laws were passed to make it easier for victims and victims families to sue for any profits.not according to what I have found. Idaho has a Son of Sam Law

Son of Sam law - Wikipedia
Son of Sam law is an American English term for any law designed to keep criminals from profiting from the publicity of their crimes, often by selling their stories to publishers.
If her writing is anything like her podcasts I can't imagine sales would be brisk. Same goes for Chad's writing, IMO. If Means writes his account it will be full of bad grammar and bad spelling. So, if Lori gets life in prison, will she be able to write an autobiography?
According to Justin Lum, the autopsy for Alex Cox should be available next week.
Justin posted this to his Facebook page, which I can’t link.

I do hope somebody inside the investigation will write a tell-all book one day. I would love to know the decision making behind the release of information to the media, for instance. Are Justin and Nate pushing this forward? Or is someone orchestrating what gets released and when?

I've also been wondering about the drip fed information - is this purposeful/orchestrated or just the way things commonly go?

The thing I find interesting about this is that it comes from the spokesperson, not the coroner or medical office. That, to me, indicates that LE either already knows what it says and is only now prepared to release it publicity (perhaps they'll also be ready to press charges at or before it is released publicly??) Fingers crossed! OR, they have at least been given a heads up that the med professionals are wrapping up and they will have it shortly.Justin Lum Fox 10 on Twitter

UPDATE: It’s been quite a wait for the autopsy report on Lori Vallow’s brother Alex Cox. He died on 12/12/19 and the cause is unknown. I’m told by Maricopa County spokesperson that “barring something unforeseen” - report could be completed and released next week. #fox10phoenix

Alex Cox Autopsy=PENDING
Supposedly Melani also knew in the days previous that he wasn't feeling well. Why would Alex call Lori, in HI, before his own wife--someone who could actually get him medical assistance? Or, even, 911? Was it to say to her, "What.... Have..... You..... Done...?!?"I think Alex was not feeling well beforehand and called/made contact with Lori and told her he wasn’t feeling well. That would explain why she called ZP to make sure she checked up on him..
Overdose (granted, falls under poison)
Heart attack
Aneurism
There are other natural causes that I wouldn't have any clue about

Alex and Lori had an extremely creepy close relationship so it would make sense that he would call her first...Supposedly Melani also knew in the days previous that he wasn't feeling well. ian strikes me as a person who tells everyone what they want to hear. The wiring thing has me baffled. Being newlyweds and still in honeymoon mode makes me wonder why the FBI would have thought it would work unless perhaps they threatened him with some sort of harboring a criminal or aiding/abetting charge. Also, how would someone be physically wired? I can't see the stereotypical wire under the clothes since as newlyweds, the clothes aren't always on so could it be the FBI planted some monitoring devices around the house instead? Could it be the FBI had some reason to do this purposely do this, knowing it wouldn't work, to somehow put Melani on notice and get her to fess up voluntarily? I'm stumped.
