I found the promisory note for teh loan and Charles did not provide a personal guarantee. Since teh company was an LLC I don't see how they can make a claim against Charles's estate...

LLC’s can absolutely make valid and payable claims in my state. Regardless, I don’t see much motivation for Lolo to even act on the probate. She can just ignore it, the court will appoint an administrator or attorney in fact and let the case run out.

I noticed that IP and MP are wearing matching white rings. I can't tell if they are the rubber flexible rings that some active people wear when they doing things like rock climbing or some other kind of mineral like CD and LV. If they were a "healing" mineral type ring, it would indicate that they were following a pattern of behavior. https://www.amazon.com/White-Ceramic-Wedding-Band-Promise/dp/B017I6I6CW Maybe?

What I meant was that if Charles's LLC borrowed the money then he does not personally owe it nor does his estate, unless there was personal guarantee clause. That would be entirely normal for small business loan but it seems to have been left out here. That's what the LL=limited liability means.

I agree she can ignore probate. If she is entitled to anything the court will award it in due course. Like I said, I don't think there is much to divide. There are the vehicles but I think Lori's transportation will be provided by the State of Idaho for the foreseeable future.

*In regards to the marital wisdom passed on from AC, he had only been married one day longer that MP and IP. His actions towards LV's previous husband's don't line up with the supposed advice he was giving.

*At the 10:50 mark, IP says that they arrived 2 days apart at his parents for Thanksgiving and how his daughter bonded to MP immediately. About 11:30 mark, MP adds that on their road trip, she got out of the car at a gas station and his daughter said, "Don't blow it, Dad." So that raises some continuity questions unless she is speaking of a different road trip that happened after Thanksgiving but before the wedding. Little kids don't want their parents to marry other people. They want their parents to marry each other. They are not independent grown ups that just want their parents to be happy and hope they find new love.

*IP says his wife asked for a divorce on their anniversary and that all started in March. He doesn't mention that they may have had previous problems or that he had domestic violence charges against him in April. There may be more court documents with more information absolving him of this crime or the protection order being lifted. Someone that is more court research savvy can probably find more info. https://mycourts.idaho.gov/odysseyportal/Case/CaseDetail?eid=ARSNtV20pUoOep4szm4F3Q2&tabIndex=3

MP had been married for many years to BB. AC had never been married until now. Anyone who has been married knows that people who have never been married don't truly get it. She didn't go to AC for relationship advice! He might have been a shoulder to cry on and they may have talked about their shared experiences being newlyweds. But I think if anything she would have been giving AC advice.

Guessing he drove down with the kids and she flew in either on Thanksgiving morning or the night before. The night before was the day her apartment was searched. Do we know for sure she was present for the search? They then probably drive back to Idaho together.

Yeah, "Don't blow it, Dad." is not something that ever came out of a 9 year old's mouth right after their parents split up!

She did not actually file for divorce until April 15. There is nothing unusual about that because it probably took her a while to hire a lawyer and actually file. Ian's domestic violence charge was on April 10, was describe as a violation of a protective order, and was dismissed on motion of the prosecutor. This is pure speculation but I bet it has to do with him wanting to see his kids, her calling the cops on the assumption there is an order, cops charging or arresting, then when it got to court the prosecutor realizes there was no protective order. IP was not served until April 25 and any protective order would not be binding on him until then. I'm going to file this one away as a misunderstanding by NP/IP.

So they got married before ian has even met her children, that strikes me as super odd its self.

They way they look at each other as the other is talking is creepy, it looks like they may have been told to do this and also notice how they never look at each other at the same time and make eye contact, Something just seems off to me, there is no chemistry.

I've always felt it highly unlikely that AC was murdered. First, because I think the two most obvious suspects were in HI at the time. Second, because of the circumstances of AC's death. He appeared to have died from natural causes (heart attack, stroke, PE, etc.) versus say, getting shot several times with a .45 acp...

Not saying it's impossible to poison somebody these days, just that it's hard to do so without it being discovered later in an autopsy. Sixty years ago, maybe - but these days you can't just run down to the drug store and grab some potassium cyanide or arsenic or polonium or ricin or hemlock or belladonna, etc. And I've read that antifreeze takes several days (any faster and the victim is sure to notice that he/she is ingesting more than iced tea). No, if poisoning could be done easily w/o being discovered, we would probably never have heard the names Markov, Litvinenko, Kim Jong-nam, and Skirpal.

Just for the record, there were three other suspects I had considered: MP, ZP, and special-ops-dude, but none of them seemed very plausible, then or now. MB might've had motive (to perhaps eliminate someone who could possibly tie her to the attempt on BB). LV and/or CD and/or MB could've
commissioned someone like special-ops-dude (who at one time I considered as possibly good for the BB attempt) to eliminate AC (who definitely knew a lot about a lot), but the gang would still be leaving a loose end..

But my sense that MB had nothing to do with AC's death has been further reinforced by the recent TV interviews: I just don't think she has the smarts, savvy, or skill (marksmanship class or not) to have done something like that. And definitely not on her own. And although I suppose ZP must be considered too (especially if there was an insurance policy in play on AC), I just don't see it, and for basically the same reasons I (perhaps wrongly) discounted MB's involvement (for similar reasons, I have never thought MB was in Tylee's Jeep in Oct in Gilbert - that was a one man show IMO)

I did however (and maybe still do) think there was a chance that AC took his own life. First because he was carrying around a lot of guilt (tho he also could have been a sociopath). Second, he had to be stressed to the max (think about what had transpired since July.. talk about high blood pressure!). Third, if there WAS insurance money at play, he might have been trying to get it to either LV or ZP or both as expeditiously as possible (assuming he was in the cult - also, this may explain his relatively short engagement with ZP). Fourth, AC may have pulled the plug just to help his sister (they obviously had a strange relationship; it appears he literally lived for her) removing himself as a witness to numerous crimes LV may have been involved in. He may have even known that his own health clock was running out (and maybe thought he could advance up CD's ladder one level). But, if AC planned to take his own life, he would still need to do so in a way that would not be discovered in a subsequent autopsy, or else no insurance payout (I think).

So, here I respectfully request the help of the medical experts on our forum who have been so gracious in providing their medical expertise: thank you Riverdoc, Gardenkeep, Nurse Gen and others.

Is there any way AC could've committed suucide without leaving evidence that would later be discovered in an autopsy? Are all autopsies equally thorough? Are most autopsies thorough enough to detect more than just the most common suicide methods like OD, hanging, gunshot, self poisoning, CO2, asphixiation., etc.? Would they have even looked for things like ethylene glycol, or, air embolism?

Could Alex have induced a PE by injecting air - and would evidence of doing so show up in a typical autopsy? In this autopsy? Would evidence of air embolism dissipate prior to (or during) an autopsy? Would you see the same damage/evidence in the lungs as a result of an air-induced PE as you might with a more typical PE from DVT?

And lastly, do you think TD's autopsy will be done to a similar standard as AC's (would you expect it to show any evidence of a possible air-embolism-induced-PE if there had been just such an injection of air before death?

Would love to hear your opinions. Thanks

Looks like he and Chad shared the same attorney.

If MP is pregnant i wonder what her due date is, it could be one way to explain the quick marriage if they got freaky before they were supposed to if you know what i mean.

IP looks defeated, wary, doubtful. I think he knows he is now in over his head. He has a pregnant new wife that he barely knows. I thought his motivation to marry her was the sex/libido crap mentioned in his detailed notes about the beliefs but I've been rethinking that given the domestic violence complaint. If he is a controlling person marrying a new pretty wife with his children present is like revenge against his ex who dared leave him and dared report him to police.

No one is going to convince me that the two Las Vegas marriages weren't an attempt to run/hide and conceal identity, 2 days after the FBI raided the apartments.

Why did Brandon have to hire a PI to track/locate Melani? What was she running from?

Why did Melani not attend court for her children's custody hearing?

Why did Melani want to hide her name from Natalie?

Why did IP text NP saying "they" told Melani they made the attempt on Brandon and failed, and he understands why Brandon doesn't want Melani to have the children?

Why was Melani isolating Ian, driving him to work, and not letting him talk to his family right after she married him?

Why did IP tell Natalie to look up the names of Alex and Chad? What did he think they had done?

Why did Chad and Lori tell IP after knowing him for two weeks (they were in Hawaii first two weeks of Nov), before Melani told him about zombies, possibly murdered children and the attempt on Brandon's life on their wedding night, that he would be "taking the reins concerning care of Melani" when clearly they fled before Thanksgiving and couldn't have known Ian and Melani would decide on a whim to get married over Thanksgiving?

Why did Ian not invite Melani to Thanksgiving before he left, if they all knew the plan was Chad and Lori would be taking off?

I finally had a chance to watch Melani's interview:

One thing that caught my attention was at about 12:30 in the video Nate asks about Alex and Zulema getting married. Melani mentions that Alex and Zulema talked about whether they should get married in Las Vegas or Jackson. Jackson? Why Jackson? Is that a common quickie wedding destination for people living in Rexburg? What is the significance of Jackson? Does someone connected to Zulema and/or Alex live there? (we probably can't sleuth if they do) Or did someone else in their group get married in Jackson around the same time as the Vegas weddings? I'm assuming she meant Jackson, Wyoming. Interesting how Jackson is sort of on the way to Yellowstone from Rexburg. Did Alex and Zulema perhaps discuss getting married earlier, like in early Sept around the time that Tylee was last seen at Yellowstone?

Very interesting, particularly as Melani didn't grow up around there, to be familiar with the area and local places.

Air Bubbles. That is the only other thing I can think of. Riverdoc, I definitely defer to you. Thank you for appreciating my thoughts, but I'm just a tech. I have no where near your expertise. I gotta say though, I've loved this conversation! I miss diagnostics and medicine. I loved my job. LOL So, before we get snipped mod stuff for being out of subject, I will stop at this, but Thank you!:)

i certainly do not think you guys are off topic! The results were a shock to me...so more clarification is so important....

I'm confused. Jackson is NOT on the way to Yellowstone from Rexburg. YNP is about an hour and a half north (and slightly east) of Rexburg, while Jackson is about an hour and a half southeast of Rexburg. Going to YNP from Rexburg through Jackson makes the trip about two and a half hours, and brings you into the park through a different entrance (not West Yellowstone).

ETA: Sorry, now I see after rereading your post more carefully and understanding the significance if they had chosen Jackson earlier in relation to TR's disappearance. Good food for thought.

IMO I find MP's mention of Jackson as an option interesting because it seems an attempt to diminish the importance of Vegas being chosen (as though it could easily have been one location or the other). Vegas is relatively close (4 hour drive) in proximity to where CD was vacationing with his children in southern California at the time the AxC and MP marriages occurred.

I found the pizza reference related to Stacey's death. It is in the media timeline and the source is Gray Hughes texting with Larry and an unidentified family member. Unfortunately in listening to the video again, "pizza" is not actually mentioned. It just said Alex was the only one there and he was ordering off her credit card. So that story is suspect as well in my opinion. I don't know how Larry would know that kind of detail unless it was told to him by someone wanting to disparage Alex. The same video alleges Alex refinanced his parents house behind their back and took out $250000 cash without their permission. Ok, maybe, but there would be records AND we know there were federal tax leins on their properties from the late 80s until recently so that also makes that story unlikely.

Not saying I believe Melani, just that the alternative story seems unlikely now.

This is a cavalier bunch, but the notion that Alex ordered pizza with Stacey's credit card after she died is as out there for me as the pool party after Charles died. And the story about the house being refinanced behind the Cox' back was totally not believable (ever.) But I wouldn't be surprised if these two stories are a telephone-game version of some things that actually happened. Maybe he made some purchases with Stacey's credit card some after her death; maybe he did something nefarious regarding finances he shared with his parents.

Who would have fed Larry this information? Well, there are a lot of people who have come forward, and a ton who haven't, who are on the fringes and have some of the story.....and who really don't like some of the players in this story. I would guess a number of people have reached out to Kay and Larry to feed them info, not all of it totally accurate.

Yes.. ! The part about “don’t blow it”.. these are little kids. They had just gone through a divorce they would be advocating for a new mom and worried about Dad “blowing it”. Such an odd comment. So can someone help clarify for me please. His folks are in CA, so he and all his kids went there? I am even surprised that he had his kids with him. And is ex-wife lives where??? So, Melani flew in from where??? A lot of money flies around with this group as well as constantly moving. i dunno...the whole thing just feels strange.
