They way they look at each other as the other is talking is creepy, it looks like they may have been told to do this and also notice how they never look at each other at the same time and make eye contact, Something just seems off to me, there is no chemistry.

Agree--they are not looking at each other but, I believe, instead are looking at the 2 attorneys in the room as I think the attorneys were sliding them notes of what to say, what not to say and it appeared to me that IP was watching one of them the whole time.

I also noticed that in part 2 interview, Nate asked MP where she thought the children were and she responded she didn't know and she has had every FEAR in the world of what could have happened to them.
she then added--"I think most of December, after Lori and Chad just disappeared, and I didn’t have a phone number for them and no contact, I am thinking the worst.
And- "

and I’m having every “what-if,” because I didn’t see them the whole time I was up there in November.

NOW FAST FORWARD TO 3RD INTERVIEW--

Eaton: Melani, when’s the last time you spoke with Lori?

Melani: I had a phone call with her – I want to say the second week of December after Alex had passed. I think it was the night Ian told me he had been going to the police and FBI. I haven’t heard anything from them since then.

Eaton: And she and Chad were already in Hawaii at that time?

Melani: I would guess they were already in Hawaii at that time because they left that last week in November

So-first she said she does NOT have phone number or contact with Lori
then she states- she spoke to Lori in December and that she "guesses' Lori is in Hawaii because she knew they had left for Hawaii in NOVEMBER.

So while the world is wondering where Lori and Chad are at, MP knew they were in Hawaii

She states no contact then states she spoke to Lori in December.

Too many contradictions

Also, everytime Nate asked about the children--she brought the whole interview, story back to her and how she was going through her OWN STUFF and her own issues with divorce and her kids, yada, yada.

She NEVER answers the question

I listened to all 3, I read the transcripts of all 3 and
Again- JMO-- it is BS and they are in CYA mode.

I don’t think this is necessarily a misdirect as much as it is Melani being her normal uber naive trusting gullible self, but does she realize she doesn’t make any sense even right now ?? Charles’ computer is ‘covered’ with pictures of other women; yet ‘Charles worshipped Lori.’ Doesn’t multiple affairs strike you as the opposite of a worshiping spouse??

Melani: Lori and Chad did not tell me most of those things in the document. Those were fears I was hearing from other people, and never did I believe them.

I think somebody should reread the document, and see how many ‘fears’ spring up, and how many strike you as plain non-subjective statements of a true believer. IIRC this applies to most of them.

Maybe she didn’t come up with her story to share. Maybe she was fed a story to spin a different narrative so others start to doubt which side to believe. Just thinking out loud here. All jmo

Could this publicity hurt MP in her own custody battle? Clearly she’s telling the world that she’s not aware of children’s safety by not even acknowledging the whereabouts of her niece and nephew. BB’s attorneys could easily say she can’t be trusted with the supervision of her own children when she’s ignored two missing children that she supposedly loves for months! JMO

No one is going to convince me that the two Las Vegas marriages weren't an attempt to run/hide and conceal identity, 2 days after the FBI raided the apartments.

Why did Brandon have to hire a PI to track/locate Melani? What was she running from?

Why did Melani not attend court for her children's custody hearing?

Why did Melani want to hide her name from Natalie?

Why did IP text NP saying "they" told Melani they made the attempt on Brandon and failed, and he understands why Brandon doesn't want Melani to have the children?

Why was Melani isolating Ian, driving him to work, and not letting him talk to his family right after she married him?

Why did IP tell Natalie to look up the names of Alex and Chad? What did he think they had done?

Why did Chad and Lori tell IP after knowing him for two weeks (they were in Hawaii first two weeks of Nov), before Melani told him about zombies, possibly murdered children and the attempt on Brandon's life on their wedding night, that he would be "taking the reins concerning care of Melani" when clearly they fled before Thanksgiving and couldn't have known Ian and Melani would decide on a whim to get married over Thanksgiving?

Why did Ian not invite Melani to Thanksgiving before he left, if they all knew the plan was Chad and Lori would be taking off?

You are asking all the same questions I have--especially about the Thanksgiving Weekend Weddings.. Not just one but TWO weddings!!

Supposedly last minute for MP to go to IP family for Thanksgiving because she didn't have anywhere to go so he invited her while on the way there. Then to get married 2 days later ???
Oh.. and SURPRISE--Uncle Alex is here getting married also.

Everytime she is asked about the JJ and Tylee she turns the conversation back to her troubles and woes because, you know, she was going through all that stuff of her own. Never answers the question about the kids.

Plus she doesn't question Aunt Lori or Uncle Alex about not seeing the kids after she moves there and when she went to visit on the weekends.

I really tried to stay open minded listening to Nate's interview and I honestly don't know how he kept a straight face during all the BS that was spewing all over. JMO

One of my friends owns one of those town homes and rents to people (was not one of the the three involved in the case) and hers was not insulated too well. Not sure about the other ones in the area though. You could easily hear the neighbors if there was loud sounds. Jmo but kids are loud, even teenagers; you’d be able to hear something.

It is strange to me too how there seems to be an endless supply of money to do all this moving and traveling about that so many of them did.

Moving in itself is an expensive thing to do. The cost of moving is what causes a lot of people to remain living in places that they would rather move away from.

On top of moving costs, a person usually has to have a fairly steady job to maintain normal utility costs, food, and everything else. For some of the key players in this case, it did not seem like they had a stable place to even stay let alone a stable normal job.

It is confusing how a lot of their actions would have costed quite a bit of money with all the traveling, deposits, moving costs, and so where and how did they manage to get all those funds with no real steady job or a steady place to live. The only thing I can guess is one or two of the key players came into some money or thought they would come into some money and was willing to share it or said they would share it with a couple other people to help them out with some of the more recent moves.

If LE can follow the money trail then it may help them with this case.

Life Insurance polices, Credit cards (their own or others), Life insurance policies, Church and books proceeds, ...etc
Always follow the Money, JMO

In one of the interviews Melani commented that getting married quickly is encouraged in her religion. Having lived around Mormon communities most of my life, I have not observed that to be true but I have had a few friends that got married after dating a ridiculously short time (3-6 months not 10 days). I'm curious to hear from someone knowledgable about LDS whether Melani's claim is true. It was also my understanding that in LDS there is usually some kind of pre-marriage counseling (as in many churches) but I've never heard that it is mandatory. Is it plausibe that 2 devout Mormons would just decide on a whim to get married in Vegas 2 days later without telling anyone?

I'm trying to reconcile Melani saying she had no way of contacting Lori after Lori went to Hawaii, (apart from a call after Alex died in December I think she said), and Ian recording her phone calls with Lori and Chad.

YES!!! I just went on a rant about the MP saying she had no phone number, contact number but she talked to LVD in December.
I forgot to add in there the "Recordings" from her own husband regarding phone calls.
It's all a bunch of BS and they are liars. JMO
