I also think this story is much broader and more widespread and involving far more people than have been identified. I think there are some rich people involved who may be funding things. They can't bail Lori out because they don't want to be traced. No conspiracies or secret societies, just groups we already know about and talk about openly on here. I just think there are many more people involved than we think.

Yeah, I agree. I suspect there are many more people than the cult, and their focus is probably different activities.

I think some of the delay in pursuing CV's case, charging LV over the kids, and so forth, could have to do with not wanting to interfere with a larger investigation into those activities. I'm guessing that from the perspective of somebody like the FBI or other agencies, LV and her crazies are a sideshow.

Foggy brain today....does anyone know if the upcoming custody hearing for BB and MBP (next week, I think? Maybe the 18th IIRC?) would be when MG may speak on behalf of BB/offer up information? And if so, what are the chances we as the public, will get those details, since it is a case that involves minors?

Agreed. And we should note that Dateline got it wrong when they said Lori took part in Chad's podcast. It wasn't Chad's podcast, he was guest. Lori was part of a podcast team lead by a completely different individual, one who has faded into the background since.

I think murders were a family affair. If there were powerful or wealthy people involved, Lori would have been out on bail by now.

Brainstorming:

They might think she's safer where she is rather than out causing even more complications to whatever bigger activity they have going on.

Or that providing the bail would require them to be more public than they want to be.

Or they think she's going to skip town and they aren't any more eager to lose their money than anybody else is.

Or she's so insignificant in the grand scheme of things that they just don't care.

I feel like I've read it somewhere prior that the back spare tire was removed, but I honestly don't remember where I thought I had read it. If it hasn't actually been noted previously, then it maybe was added in this document after review of whatever video footage LE obtained from nearby Ring doorbell camera(s), and helps to tie in the storage facility footage. JMO

The Texas plate number appeared in the complaint lodged by Rexburg LE against Lori. The removal of the spare tire was deduced and commented upon by multiple posters here, based on the 2 October storage locker footage. This is the first time to my knowledge that it has been confirmed.

I noticed that IP and MP are wearing matching white rings. I can't tell if they are the rubber flexible rings that some active people wear when they doing things like rock climbing or some other kind of mineral like CD and LV. Oh, oops. You're right, that is the wrong entrance (unless they went to the South entrance on another visit). I don't know why I was thinking they entered from the South. My bad. I'm not familiar with the roads and the area and the various entrances to Yellowstone. I just Google mapped it and Google told me that Jackson is about 60 miles from Yellowstone's South entrance. It still seems odd for Melani to randomly mention Jackson. Is Jackson thought of as a desirable wedding destination for people living in Idaho? I've never heard of anyone going to Jackson, WY to get married on the spur of the moment, but I know lots of people go to Vegas to get married last minute or on the cheap. Maybe it's because I'm not from the Western US, but Jackson doesn't seem at all similar to Las Vegas if you are trying to decide where you want to get married between the two. So I'm still left wondering, why Jackson? It's also interesting to note that both these locations would take them out of the state where Alex was living at the time (Idaho).

I am also not familiar with the area. Is Jackson anywhere near the place where they were pictured under the antlers recently? Forgive me for my ignorance, I can't remember the name of the place to look it up. They were standing under a huge trellis type thing with antlers . Thanks to anyone who can help.

Clearly Melani is lying and Ian is going along for the ride. I see Ian as the weaker link. Big question for me is: What does Melani have to gain by being Lori's door mat?

Is IP still informing to the FBI? I just think he could still be undercover but pretending not to be. Perhaps he married her to get close to the cult? Is that possible? I do find it strange they would bring IP into their web if they did not know him very well. Do we know if Chad or Lori knew him before MBP moved up to Rexburg?

IDK. I don't think he should sue his daughter for what she said about the credit cards. It might have some kernel of truth as most divorcing spouses wouldn't want the other spouse to run up a bunch of debt prior to a divorce settlement. I find that action more ethical than a family member using a credit card after someone's death (I don't know anything about the legalities of it all but it seems Melani dad's actions were probably legally done versus using your dead sister's CC would not be legal IMHO). Melani tried to twist it to sound like her dad was cruel in his actions when he left her mom, but her story fell flat to me. Her words against her dad might have been hurtful to him, but they were not nearly as inflammatory/slanderous as what was said against BB. BB has a very good lawsuit case IMHO. Even though she made he dad out to be a bad guy, I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Melani that her father is protecting his grandchildren from her. That says a lot when your own father takes your ex-husband's side in a custody dispute. Her father raised her, apparently tried to keep her away from the Coxes, and knows exactly what kind of influence she is under now. And he made the choice to help Brandon instead of her.

We also have to take into consideration that Melanie is going on what she has been spoon fed by
(LVD, AC, JC, BC and others ) since she was young . It doesn't give her a right to bash BB , but she may have not ever been told anything other than one side of the family dynamics.

“Mean” is subjective right? It could honestly have been nothing or something major. I hope law enforcement have access to these so called messages. And messages are so difficult to read intent unless it blatantly says something threatening.

There’s always some truth to both sides. It’s just sort through the bs to get to the meat of the situation. IMO I don’t believe either side is being completely honest about everything because their emotions are clouding the majority of facts. They are telling their experience with the situation.
