I have to tell you- I have to leave this thread for awhile- can't read it or post on it, because it really pisses me off. The garbage they are putting out there.

If the kids are alive, prove it and shut up. Go away already. If they're deceased......damn, they need to be found.

I agree. But I must say it may end up helpful in finding the kids. I hope she keeps being open to interviews. If you are familiar with the Chris Watts interview, the incredibly patient detective endured hours of lies, fluff and patting himself on the back to finally get truth. I do believe they are reading these posts and all the other social media sites based on MP's comment that IP made a bad joke about poisons. I wouldn't be surprised if they adapt their statements and behavior as a result. I wonder if they are coming forward to distract everyone for some reason.

It’s a difficult subject. Most bishops, temple presidents, or even ward members won’t insert themselves into situations unless need be. Most members are trying to see the good in people and not jump to rash conclusions without proof. Church services and temple services are on hold currently anyway. All jmo.

Are they really in good standing to keep this temple access....would not the question of not producing the children, Loris children, not cooperating with anyone to prove the children are fine and show them to church members or president....I would hope the temples, wards, church, would suspend them until proof one way or the other That the kids are alive. This couple could do anything to people who went against their plans. I also don’t see any church or members helping them out. MOOO

I wonder if the FBI has already interviewed church leaders and members to establish participation or behavior patterns. We know at least one neighbor searched their Ring camera and gave that video to authorities.

Also, there is no way church leaders would hold someone's temple recommend hostage because some other family member (aunt, sister, daughter, etc) is possibly wrapped up in something nefarious. There's no way to prove what extended family members know, and as others have stated, the church won't discipline someone based on rumor or suspicion, it typically has to make its way through the courts, first. It's frustrating as bystanders, but it's much like our legal system of "innocent until proven guilty".

I agree with this..Remember back weeks/months ago there were stories and information that they were meeting in Temples as couples would. (we could not use source on here but as a member of the LDS Church..I thought it totally was do able) It is not hard to believe that they had meet ups and whatever prior and then went into the Temple with their own agendas. They are playing by their own rules anyway and above us in the Mainstream so why wouldnt they.? MOO

, part 2 of that interview, at 3:30, Melani states she moved the first week of November, Halloween night. At 7:44 she states she was moving her stuff in the 2nd week of November.
I am wondering if she lived in an empty home for 2 weeks or if she stayed with someone those 2 weeks. And who did she stay with? MOO

I can’t figure out if her lawyers coached her to talk all around the answers or what. I am trying to picture her on a witness stand, answering questions like that, in front of a jury. It wasn’t like there was dead silence and she was trying to fill that awkward silence. MOO

I don’t know if this was mentioned before, I swear I have read and followed along the whole way, but the brain just can’t hold that much!

Found this while in a rabbit whole looking for Ammon and Mexico. I cannot find this spelling anywhere as a Spanish word anywhere, yet there are a lot of businesses and stores named Ammon in Mexico.

Just letting my imagination fly, found it interesting the tie to Mexico City.

I find myself this week trying to think out of the box.

So the townhomes seem to rent in the vicinity of $1000 a month, depending on size.

How did all these various unemployed people get the leases? Totally besides the rent and deposit, wouldn't you have to show that you could pay?

Not all properties require full first and last months rent. If you have decent credit, you can put down as little as $85 for a rent bond. Possibly less but that’s what I had to get in 2017 for an apartment that rented for $1025 a month. I didn’t have to show proof of income.

I haven’t commented on this case before but I’ve read just about everything here and in the news. I’ve followed cases for years and this one has to have the weirdest, sickest, most dangerous bunch of criminals I’ve ever come across. I don’t know if Chad and Lori actually believe the crap they’re peddling or if they’re just in this for the money. I think Melani is incapable of thinking for herself (too stupid) and is willing to believe whatever Lori tells her. I don’t know what to think about Ian. He went from being afraid of them to embracing them, seemingly overnight. I doubt the kids are hidden away alive anywhere.

Not that I think it will happen but if any of these people manage to avoid long prison sentences, I hope they don’t plan on having more children to repopulate the earth. None of them should be anywhere near any children ever again!

A verified insider here said his hair and weight had not changed at Tammy's October funeral. He looked completely changed when found in Kauai in late January. Lori was, at one time, some sort of exercise teacher (I picture her as like the jazzercise leader, hahahaha), and she did hair, so I think both changes in Chad came directly from her.
