I didn't know what to make of it when I first saw it either. Chad came into some money recently so replacing some old furniture would not necessarily be too suspicious. Then again, people don't usually dispose of a bunch of household items.

Regarding spring cleaning, I would think that would be done after the snow is gone and the ground has dried out. Is that the case there now or is it muddy still?

But the person noted that Chad’s family REMOVES the license plate, not that the plate is changed.

Sheesh, these people are STRANGE.

Wouldn't Lori and Charles have Temple Recommends?
In the newly released bodycam video from the night Charles returned to find his truck missing etc, it looks like he is wearing "Mormon Garments" and he mentions to the LEO that his bishop is on scene. That bishop is Gabe Bonilla apparently IMO
Chad and Tammy would also have Temple Recommends IMO given Chad's position because he held some position in his ward and they were married in the Temple, also MOO

Temple garment - Wikipedia
Of course she and Charles may have had temple recommends, and Charles especially really seemed to have been genuinely devout, but the point was less about being qualified to go vs. actually going everyday. Without getting too specific, one just doesn't "go" to the temple, like to sit alone randomly or something. There is very specific work to be done and things are well directed/supervised by people who work in the temples. Here is some information, in addition to what others have shared.

Thanks for this! I know we have to be mindful of TOS but I find it very helpful to have these insights on what is true LDS practice and what is abnormal behavior

Not strange if they know that the facility has a license plate reader or cameras in general.

So you mean they are intentionally trying to be incognito?

  • #586
It's a little weird, IMO, but there are lots of people who don't like to be tracked. This family has extra incentive not to be.

Yes. I don't think they are necessarily (or knowingly) dumping evidence, just don't want any attention.

This is very puzzling. Being a Fremont County resident and having used this facility in the past, they would have to check in at the front station once within the gate. Using a vehicle with a license plate outside Fremont county (2F plate) or lack of license plate would require showing identification to the station attendant to prove residence. Rates are different for non-resident patrons.

ETA: Why remove plates if you have to show ID at the station? From whom would they be hiding the fact that they are removing items to the landfill?

I'm very curious to know what the original poster meant by saying they were removing the license plates.

I have not seen the CV police body cam, I tear up every time I look at the video start and cannot push play yet....sad
On another note I looked up zc's sm and I cannot find his posts anymore regarding the kids and the C family. Wonder why they were taken down. Jmo

Good info, RexburgSleuth! I was actually more concerned about the license plate removal part of that persons' statement than the dumping of belongings. And, now even more perplexed!

I agree those not under investigation want to probably distance themselves some and keep a low profile. However, if I saw a car without a plate I’d think it would draw my attention more.

I personally can’t think of a reason I’d take my plates off unless I was selling my car or needing new plates.

All jmo

I'm trying to remember that podcast with JM, LV, and MG. Didn't JM say he met LV in a temple? Which one? When? I'm still looking. Jmo

From the timeline:

4 Dec 2018 – Lori does her first podcast with Melanie Gibb (MG) & Jason Mow (JM) titled “Time to Warrior Up”. JM says he first met Lori at Temple, they had an “instant connection” and he knew she was a “gatherer”. JM then connected Lori with MG. JM tells a story about working for the Phoenix PD and how he had a fight with a suspect; JM was seriously injured during the fight – detached hamstrings from the pelvis. JM says he retired from Phoenix PD in 2017. During the podcast, “Lori mentions how suffering leads to salvation and that even though she doesn’t want her kids to suffer, she understands they have to in order to see the light.” (Fox 10 Phoenix).

The very beginning of the podcast talks about how they met.... but with many WSers talking about how rare or difficult is actually is to meet in the Temple... I really wonder if this is even true. There are so many Stakes and Churches around that area... I really wonder if it was one of the Temples (though there is the one in Gilbert).

Anyway here is their conversation... rather hard to listen to over again.... sortof yucky actually. The last paragraphs are not totally inclusive from the podcast.

Jason:
Also today with us, is Lori.
Lori is soo cool.
Lori and I met in a very very unique situation.
Real quick, Lori lets talk about that.
People don't even know who you are, well people in the know, know who you are.
One reason to do this podcast is so we can spread the light of knowledge, and help people learn who they are and find their gifts. And draw closer to Christ.
What happened to you was pretty unique. And how we ended up in the same room together is even more unique.

Lori:
So fun to be here with Jason and Melanie. I love them so much. Grateful for them and all the services they do.
I feel like i work for the lord.
I feel like i have turned my life to him, from circumstances that have happened to me in my life.
I ask him who he wants me to meet, who he needs me to go to, and what he wants me to do.
Was sent to the temple on a certain day to get a message from someone.
And in walks Jason Mow.

Jason:
When I looked at you. When I looked into your eyes for the first time, and really saw who you were on the inside, i instantly knew you were one of us, a gatherer. You get it. and understand there is something bigger going on here. It is more than Church on Sunday, that we are in the End-times. And you are awake, prepared, moving in that direction, I saw that in one half second, of that brother sister connection.
...
Then Melanie got idea to do podcast.

Melanie:
I've know Jason for a while, meeting Lori, knew that there was a message we had to share. We have in common, is we have all been changed by Jesus Christ. We have all woken up. We've gone through incredible trials. People want to be more awakened, or they are beginning to be.
They want to Learn more of the trials we have been through. I had my experience with a mighty change of heart. And have started to write a book about that experience.
Jason:very cool.
writing books is a difficult thing to do.
Melanie:we wanted to get together and share our journeys, individually.
Jason goes all over the country, youth etc. This podcast opportunity to share his experiences.

Jason:
My time is limited. People are wanting more, so podcast takes it to next level. You have given us this thing the Warrior Ethos. Now What?
this Warrior Ethos. What is it to be to be a true Warrior....How you live your life.
Warrior Ethos. ethos means character, what you stand for.
Warrior Character.
What do we as Latter Day Saints, as Christians believe...How do we get from A to B.
Everything on this earth is designed to distract. Having this creed, this standard, this ethos keeps us on the covenant path.
More like president Nielson has asked us to be. more home centered, rather than relying on arm of flesh.
Revelation for the Church is the Prophets job but we keep our eyes on the prophets. We are entitled as individuals to have revelations for our personal lives, our families. There is really only
In the warrior language it is this warrior ethos. Having this creed, this standard. It is really cool to talk about this, and people can send emails and people can ask questions to ask the followup questions.

No. That is incorrect. CD left the ward shortly after TD's memorial service in Rexburg. The following Sunday (Oct 27) was Stake Conference and no regular ward meetings were held. Next Sunday was Nov 3rd. He was absent from the ward, but not released from his calling as Executive Secretary. He was released in absentia in December (see: ID - ID - Joshua Vallow, 7, & Tylee Ryan, 17, Rexburg, Sept 2019 #8 and ID - ID - Joshua Vallow, 7, & Tylee Ryan, 17, Rexburg, Sept 2019 #6) and shortly thereafter his records were removed from the directory app. As he was clearly married to Lori on Nov 5th, he held the position until after the marriage.

We have a lot of speculation about his alleged excommunication, but no one has verified from him or his Bishop. I will not speculate on what that means. It's nearly unrelated to the case whether or not he is/was able to go to the Temple at this point or since November. All of the sidebar social media comments and speculation about his and LV's alleged secret and unathorized sealings in the Temple do nothing to help the case of missing children. While they throw light on possible involvement between the two, any two people who at the time have valid Temple recommends could gain authorized access into a Temple and hypothetically perform their own unauthorized and private and secret ceremony while no one was looking. Again, it's not allowed, but someone acting like they were praying quietly could think whatever they wanted in their mind. Let's not forget that the impetus for this current discussion is CV's account that she thought she was immortal and many other vastly outlandish ideas. Such delusions being manifest to CV indicate deeper thoughts.

In general, an endowment is a gift. In LDS Temple terminology, it means that one has been given spiritual gifts and knowledge through a ceremony wherein covenants are made and expectations of the use of those gifts and knowledge are outlined. We don't talk about the particulars and substance of those, but in general they are to prepare one for entrance into the afterlife with Heavenly Father.

Thank you very much. Much clearer now!!

I wonder if one of the Churches or "Meeting Houses" is very close to the Temple, so the language is sortof interchanged.

People in the know? Are these perhaps people she upset and they are “after her or threatening her”? Or are they people who are keeping Tylee and JJ? Is this an underground group or one we’ve looked at before? What all is in those missing podcasts? All jmo

Is there a real chance that Chad could get charged with something, and arrested in the near future? If so, is there even a slight chance that, in a town like Rexburg he would've been "informed" by someone that such thing is about to happen?

It struck me as the kind of reference a motivational speaker makes who wants to motivate others among those listening who are not "in the know" to separate from some of their hard-earned cash to sign up as members and thereby become "in the know" so that they too can nod knowingly the next time he makes such a reference. JMO.

And which youth groups was JM talking to traveling all over the country?

I know nothing about Rexburg but it has been mentioned before obliquely that Chad has family connections to the highest levels of LE in the county so it seems unlikely they would be able to keep that kind of thing quiet for too long.

I think the only thing he is likely to be charged with is Tammy's murder and only if something was found in the autopsy.
