I remember it too. I’m tiring of searching for things in the thread atm, but I heard the same.

I remember hearing it too - of course no one really knows what was in JJ's head so it may just be anecdotal. IIRC it might have been the Nanny (not named Zanny). It might have been in her statement about comments made to her by LVD. But of course, there are too many trauma's for me about "blame the Nanny" to bring up so I want to qualify that I am not blaming the Nanny for making this statement.
(some of you will understand my PTSD).

Ok. I can go with that. Was it there all the time? I guess that is one of my points. Why would it have not been seen in and around the complex? If Tylee was coming and going with friends and in out to eat. Why wasn't it seen more? MBP lived right next door. If she was driving it, how did LVD explain having it? If the jeep was at the town home wouldn't you expect Tylee to be there also?

I just had a terrible thought about the graves. Given that he apparently decided to dig them on his own land, he would have to conceal them from his family and neighbors as much as possible. They would have to be very small on the surface, meaning the bulk of the dig would have to be vertical.

LE's digs, in locating the remains, were fairly large horizontally, but the original graves probably weren't. As a matter of fact, the drone photos showed at least one small area where one of the bodies was buried.

The prosecutor noted during CD's initial hearing that the "manner of concealment" of one of the bodies was "particularly egregious," and of course people (including us) are making all kinds of horrific assumptions about what he meant.

Upshot: it is likely at least one of those bodies was damaged in order to fit it into a small grave--at least in a horizontal sense.

I can't believe I'm even thinking about this, let alone typing it, but it could very well be a factor.

This is my first post, please bear with me. Several threads back, someone posted a picture of the dig spot, showing the orange duffle bag, on the blue tarp. The FBI photographer (CSI person?) is taking a picture, and that area of ground, IMO, looks stained, from bodily oils/fluids/decomp. The inside/bottom of the orange duffle (I can see handles on it) bag looks to be rotted out, from decomp. As far as any remains inside, that's hard to tell.

But, regarding the picture, at the bottom of that "H" looking thing, there's a cinder block. On that block is something black. I've blown up the picture, and IMO, it looks like a toy puppy. Any ideas on it? Again, this is JMO (lol those are my initials!) Thanks!

Has it been determined yet why Chad and Lori came back to Idaho after they were married Nov 5th in Hawai only to leave again in 2-3 weeks. I believe they planned on going back to HI regardless of the welfare check but may have been hurried along. I believe the kids were buried in Chad's yard no later than Oct. so I dont think it was that. What loose ends did they need to finish up? I dont remember if this was ever established.

When or to whom would she have had to explain it? Nobody would have pressed her on this fact until LE eventually did, when she was extradited back to Idaho. And we know how their questioning of her went, more or less -- she declined to answer or she lied. She would not have told the authorities that TR was at BYUI because even she knew that LE could easily verify that.

If the jeep was at the town house why wasn't Tylee there? How did LVD explain having the jeep but never having Tylee around? If Tylee was at BYUI why wasnt her jeep with her? Wouldn't that be suspicious?

It has not been determined why they came back. And the second trip to Hawaii was almost certainly planned in advance and not a panic flight. Chad went to Los Angeles with his family and (possibly) Lori for Thanksgiving. Not likely that you could book that many tickets one day in advance for the busiest travel day of the year. Likewise the travel to Hawaii on 1 December. Plus they had already rented the condo and they (or somebody) had sent a mystery box or boxes ahead, which arrived before they did.

So I believe Chad was startled by the welfare check but it did not influence the travel plans.

The only thing I can think of is that they may have thought it was safe to go back to Idaho, only to find that was far from the case once they got there. It's an excellent question.

Tylee has no friends in Rexburg that I’ve heard of. How would she make any? Lori didn’t go to church supposedly. Tylee has no one, sadly.

Jeep was registered to Charles Vallow. Tylee never was its official owner.
