In the most technical sense, perhaps, but thinking of him or referring to him that way would not be customary in my family (among adult nieces and nephews of the blood-related aunt). Might sound verbally taxing but those folks will always be (e.g.) "Aunt Winifred's husband Walter". or just "Walter". I'm non-LDS, American, and raised in a southern state, so maybe one of those things is informing my take on the custom?

I believe that Henderson is in the same county where the late Nov quickie marriages happened too-- Clark County. But I can't figure out what could have happened there that would lead to a police report. MOO.

I totally understand the frustration at what happened, but Fremont County coroner is a very low paying part-time job with 24/7/365 responsibilities. The ultimate responsibility of the coroner is to make sure the Sheriff knows and investigates if something is suspicious.

The part-time, elected, no medical training required coroner system should be changed IMO. But that is a far different statement than saying this particular coroner did something wrong in this particular case.

Thank you for saying what I was thinking. We're all horrified at what's unfolded here, but I think a little grace is warranted for the folks and especially public servants as fallible human beings who make mistakes. Why hang guilt in perpetuity over their heads? It's spiteful and it lays blame in the wrong place. They did not have the 20/20 hindsight and context that we do now. JMO

JMO - LE hear all kinds of stories from people in all sorts of mental states all day long. You're listening for facts and inconsistencies, and confirming what you're being told with clarifying questions. When you become practiced at that, you don't tend to react the same way you would in an informal conversation.

Anybody know the specific dates? It had to be sometime after the shooting attempt on BB (I think MB was in AZ for kid drop off on day of shootin 10/1, and LV was seen at storage unit in Rex on 10/2..), so trip couldn't have started before the 3rd? Just guessing.

If LV was in HI from early to mid October, I think it could almost be interpreted as her "leaving the room" while AC and CD got busy back in Rexburg. And after the bullet missed BB in Gilbert, MB probably needed to get into the wind asap.

Just speculating, but I can just see LV and MB, biding their time by the pool, waiting to return home. You know: funerals to go to, estates to settle, spouses to meet, weddings to plan, moves to coordinate. Movin' on up!

Also, assuming (per anticipated testimony) that LV was there close to that time frame, it's perhaps interesting that it wouldn't have been the first time LV went to HI expecting that while she was there, some "no-longer-necessary" person in her life (or some person who's death might directly or indirectly provide a financial windfall for LV) would somehow miraculously die, and who knows? -maybe disappear altogether (given that LV knew an angel who could help dispose of a bodies). Jmo

CALLED IT! This is what I have suspected all along and have stated it elsewhere -- that I thought it very unlikely that this was his first time off the reservation (cheating). CD having visions of TD's death seems to predate the LV affair, too, and I bet that lines up with the previous affair. This guy was unhappy in his marriage and looking for an exit. I just hope that other husband (or wife!) has contacted the authorities and shared details. JMO

And thank you for linking this interview, as new info is so hard to come by lately!

This once again is an example of Chad manipulating narrative, this time with Julie Rowe. In this case, "off her antidepressants and struggling with jealousy" is code for "Tammy has found evidence of my cheating and is accusing me of something, and we're fighting about it".

This makes me think that somebody knows more. Tammy had to have confided something in someone (I hope!!).

Yeah, another woman in Arizona, too, so it's interesting that he was forced to cut off things with the previous woman, or she was forced to cut it off with him, either way, and then he starts up with another AZ woman (LV). Coincidence? I am still wondering if he was picking up women online somehow.
ETA: Maybe just via AVOW. But also wondering about actual dating sites. Bold but not uncommon.

Side note: previous affair partner's husband is probably feeling lucky to be alive right now.

I honestly don't understand why Lori even bothered registering JJ at the local elementary school in Idaho. That, to me, tells me that killing him wasn't the plan, things scalated quickly once they stepped foot in Idaho.

Yet her sellimg the service dog before they mpved implies that she was planning on getting rid of JJ prior to moving to Idaho

Yeah, I mean the dude has his wife's children buried in his backyard. I think we can all agree he's not a decent person. However, I'm trying to determine how his demeanor now is compared to what VI's know about him. Is this Chad being cool, calm and collected? Does he appear panicked, etc...

Chad's neighbor said in a recent interview that a week before Tammy's death Chad seemed distant and quiet and wouldn't make eye contact. He and Tammy came to buy some pumpkins from the neighbor. On the morning after Tammy died, when the same neighbor visited Chad, Chad appeared emotionless. The neighbor found both behaviors odd.

LV lived on Kauai for many years with her previous husband. I think she just liked it there. IMO, there was never really a cult, there was LV and CD, and a few people close to LV who she drew in.

She lived in Hawaii with Charles for about three years.
