I have to say I am disgusted at all these people speaking out now when they all could have come forward about exactly what they knew when CV was still alive. A lot of lives could have been saved. The whole lot of them that have given these interviews. I see we have another one on Monday. What is going on?
He only just mentions the murders at the end there. I think he is in major CYA mode and probably in shock that he could be so stupid. Or it was all a major scam to sell worthless books. It sickens me he is being interviewed in a church. MOO.

There's no sign that Eric Smith knew Lori and Charles, or what was going on in their lives. He was Chad's friend/associate up until the point when Chad became distant. The same happened to Julie Rowe, although she still maintained limited contact (partly in connection with her publishing contract). ES didn't appear in public with Chad like some others. We know that Chad publicly distanced himself from JR. IMO after meeting Lori, Chad abandoned some of his friends and kept the rest in the dark about his zombie beliefs.
Consider the source. Chad said Tammy was depressed, off her meds and jealous. And he offered the info when explaining why JR couldn’t visit. Perhaps he and JR were romantically involved. Perhaps not but JR wanted to be. Perhaps Chad just didn’t want her as a houseguest. Who knows? But I give Tammy’s reported depression and jealousy no more credence than than Lori’s cookie get together w/the Daybell kids. Maybe it happened, but just because MG thinks it did doesn’t make it so.
Lori was collecting a significant amount per month ($6k according to some estimates) in SS money for the kids. No custody, no money.
JR was a regular houseguest in the past. She also recently admitted that Chad groomed her and considered them "sealed". I think Chad was phasing her out because he had other interests.
I think we need to be cautious about accepting this as fact. This is what Lori told MG, but MG has no proof for it as far as I know. Lori may have been lying.

I agree and why would anyone anywhere want to rub shoulders with Chad knowing he is married to a woman who has defied a court order to produce her children, has hidden or done away with them? Chad had a lot of enablers wearing blinders around him. Probably still does.
