Yes, quite odd that horrible discovery hasn’t been mentioned in some interviews. Of course MBP says in her letter that Tylee is probably wondering what all the drama is about. No MBP - she is wondering why she was murdered and buried in someone’s backyard.

Again, how does someone think of this person as their new daughter in law... and new wife.

SMD*H!

Get your head outta the sand boy! MOO

It's difficult but we cannot sleuth any of these players connected to the "cult". ZP, IP, MBP, MG, DW, JR, ES, HS, CP and others on the periphery like CP and JM. We can only discuss what becomes available in MSM or via LE. It does make it difficult.

How about if they have a mention of it in their own publications? Like if on a podcast they asserted something relevant. Is it considered a published source then asserting something?

Not all you listed are connected to Chad's cult, though they may have established their own cults. How many believe(d) in zombies? According to Nate Eaton, about 7.

I also think it's possible the original Arizona woman was Lori and Julie didn't understand that. I still think Chad and Lori knew each other for longer than we realize. MOO

I just can't see that being likely especially given the way the questions were asked by Nancy Grace and answered by Julie Rowe. She's talking mid-2018 which would have been before CV knew anything was up. Of course, there are also multiple credibility "humps" to get over: was Chad even telling her the truth? He was deceiving multiple women in his life at that point. Is Julie telling the full truth and is she remembering correctly? I admit none of those things is a slam dunk.

Oh sh... I missed the 7 zombie reference.

Chad himself told JR about the other woman. He had to back off after her husband threatened to publicly expose him. IMO this did not repeat with Lori and Charles in early 2019, because the second time Chad didn't seem threatened. In the fall 2018 Chad sent JR the picture where he's in a kitchen with Lori and other women.

This is how I'm reading/hearing it. And it was only AFTER that time CD stayed at CV/LV's house that CV began to suspect something might be up, along with other suspicious behavior which led to him looking in her sent folder.

I don’t think they were dedicated to monogamy. I think they were dedicated to the payout of insurance policies on dead spouses. MOO

That might be the case for TD, but the kids I am thinking were worth more alive than dead, unless, how many people(?) thought they could cover up 2 counts of murder.

He is appearing on Dateline episode with MG and AR and is described as Lori's friend. We should get some confirmation on who is is then hopefully.

Dateline to air special on Daybell developments including interview with Melanie Gibb | East Idaho News

If there is evidence of Chad being close with some of these men and enough so that they are his "replacements" at events talking about the same things would that suffice to suggest their deeper connection to this cult?

I think even MG suspected they may have known each other because of the "we knew each other in a previous life" statements. MOO.

Lori would not enjoy being one of many wives to Chad. These two were supposed to be soulmates.
I do think that's one of the compelling aspects to this case: LV is still very attractive, but she's no spring chicken, as they say. IMO a man who's just in it for the power trip and sex goes after a much younger woman. Also, a much younger woman doesn't come with the 'baggage' of children. Or, if he's calculating about money, he targets a rich widow or divorcee without children close to her. Plenty of those have come under the spell of a 'spiritual guide'.

That allows him to get on with his power building without having to resort to risky things like offing his wife and burying children's remains. So I'm inclined to believe he really did fall for LV.

Because they explanied the differences in their beliefs and because Chad distanced himself from them (on AVOW) for fear of excommunication. Unlike him, they are very public about what they believe in. Timewise, they started diverging a while ago.
Even if the AVOW/PAP mouthpieces/ leaders really did distance themselves from Chad I think it’s likely some of their “followers” didn’t cut ties with him. They may well have kept that information to themselves and other like-minded devotees.

And Chad may have denounced them publicly because excommunication would have been bad for his “brand”. Secrecy and misdirection isn’t exactly foreign to this crowd and here’s one more example where I’m not sure we can believe something’s true just because one of these misfits says so.

Nate got the “7” from MG. IMO might as well throw a dart at a wall w/numbers on it.

If there really is a cult revolving around Chad and Lori right now they have every reason to want to stay hidden. MG clearly still has an allegiance to Lori and she also affiliates w/those larger fringe orgs (as evidenced most recently in her “letter” to their members). It’s entirely possible she and/or others completely buy the Zombie phenomenon in which case they may even think killing JJ and Tylee was a merciful, holy act.

Not saying the number isn’t 7. Perhaps we’ve already been introduced to all the crackpots in this stew. But I won’t be surprised if others are out there scurrying like cockroaches when someone hits the lights.

MG isn't one of the notorious liars in this case. I find her credible.

The bolded part, I'm wondering, too. Was it to establish an alibi if they discovered that TD was murdered?
We had some discussion a few weeks ago that maybe Lori went to Hawaii to set up details for the wedding, scout out rental properties, and have an alibi for when TD was shot at. All conjecture, no evidence before now that she was even in Hawaii then but from our active timeline she went "to ground", unaccounted for between the storage locker Oct 3 and TD's funeral service Oct 22. Good to know we have located her for part of that time.

I don’t know. Something about JR’s demeanor makes me think she wanted to be Chad’s side piece, maybe they even had a couple one night stands, but Chad wasn’t interested in pursuing a relationship with her.

If true, I bet that stung. Probably got all happy when she learned AZ gal #1 was gone. Maybe even shopped online for a wedding dress and matching malachite bands. Poor JR.

MOO

Yeah 100% this. She was just a toy in between affair #1 and affair #2. I can't think of any other reason why CD would have felt safe to talk about his affairs with her, otherwise. And again, I have similar questions about why MG was let in, because... as we're seeing in this pattern of behavior, no attractive believer was off limits to Chad.

In this case, I am going to be the oddball that believes Chad introduced Tammy to Lori. I don’t know what story he used, but I bet he did. I mean he had been on podcasts with her, so she wasn’t a complete unknown. Chad could’ve been building the narrative of her for some time. I can see him trying to make excuses for them being seen together. Saying something like:

“oh this poor woman, just lost her abusive husband and has no money and is coming to Rexburg to focus on her faith. I’m going to start interviewing her for a book on overcoming, let’s have her over for dinner”.

yet, that doesn’t fit the narrative he told his kids “met a widow in Hawaii”.

Sometimes I find in the beginning of case it’s important to take note of interesting things you might find while “digging”. This is one of those topics that hasn’t fully come to light imho.

I find this 100% likely also. He will have needed this to happen just so he'd have some plausible cover if any questions were asked, just in case anyone DID actually see them together and it got back to Tammy.

The kid that said he met a widow in HI may have been lieing. I don't know which child said it. They may have figured out he had an affair by then and wanted to cover up because of shame. I dont believe anything anyone connected says anymore.

OR he is just trying to distance himself as much as possible right now from anything that might reside within the "Daybellion lore".
As in, a) he is enthusiastically in favour of killing people who've turned into zombies, and is only pretending not to be because he's afraid the public might disapprove of him; or b) he's not in favour of killing people, had no idea that's what was going on, and is trying to come to terms with how that could have happened?
