I think in some of these podcasts (which I have not heard) DW and MG were still defending CD and LV at this point.

Yesterday during Trisha's noon live You Tube for Websleuths, she asked for posters' impression of MG on the Dateline special. It was hard to describe what exactly folks found to be "off".

My impression is that MG is still struggling to not believe in CD's visions, prophecies, and teachings. MG tries hard not to condemn, just in case she has been deceived by Satan in all of this, and by golly, CD really was right all along. JMO

I’m not sure if they’re smart enough for this, but I have wondered if the Yellowstone trip was not a way to throw off police. Maybe get them searching in there and not in Chad’s yard.

The purpose of that trip continues to bug me. I'm stuck between two possibilities- 1). to create a nice memory prior to Tylee leaving this earth. 2). they thought she could be pushed into one of the boiling hot springs and it would appear accidental.

IMO Charles was in a marriage with an addict. She was obsessed/addicted with end of times doctrine and her twisted perceptions of her religion (no excuses for Lori—she has many many more issues than just this!) Any relationship with an addict has a level of codependency. Charles loved his wife, his actions weren’t perfect but he was doing more than many would do to get her the help he thought she needed. Having a mental evaluation executed is a pretty drastic step, calling in LE to enter your own home, .... the list goes on. He was also protecting her by not having even more drastic steps taken. It seems easy to us, take the kids (or just JJ) and run! The system failed Charles. In turn that failure resulted in 3 more deaths. It wasn’t one failure by one agency. No direct finger pointing because hindsight is 20/20 and this all led to an extraordinary set of circumstances.

People like Lori & Chad prey on the empath element in people.
They are masters at presenting their version of truth.
What I saw in the police station interview (with Tylee present) Lori was very cunning a la using her looks, painting herself as the victim and Charles Vallow as the crazy one. She did it again being interviewed on body cam in the street the day CV was murdered.
Narcissists LOVE calling out others ..as crazy, Zombies, Cheaters, Evil, etc.
They want everyone to think they are the “victim” and the said person caused them to do whatever they “did” to them.
It will be interesting if these 2 turn on each other!
A battle of the same Ilk !

I cannot even tell you how triggering this post is for me. Perhaps you have been fortunate enough to not have had to deal with a malignant narcissist in your life. Maybe you should watch the videos of Lori at the police station, manipulating the situation. That is a small glimpse of how the rest of CV's life would have been had he not given into her wishes and reconciled for the sake of her "getting his finances in order". She would have, and did, manipulate and gaslight and terrorize until she got what she wanted, all the while "charming" everyone around her to think she was a perfect angel and he was the bad guy. He was in a catch 22, because of Lori and Chad. Moo.

I agree. And I did not want to "victim blame". It is easy to see through a lens of "should have, would have, could have". I feel badly for CV. He was obviously in a twisted addictive relationship with LVD, who reminds me very much of Jodi Arias.

CV must have had a premonition when he changed his life insurance beneficiary. I wish that he had realized how deadly LVD was. He was playing with a rattle snake, and didn't even realize it.

I have other things I would say, in regards to Tylee, but nothing else has been brought up, so I won't say anything. My heart goes out to her. She died too young.

Satellite Photo Shows Chad Daybell Property On Likely Day Of Child's Burial:

wow!! And did anyone else notice that the haze over the property looked an awful lot more like smoke than clouds? From a fire pit, perhaps? I’m thinking of satellite images you see of forest fires. Smoke is more wispy and grayish looking. That also looks to be closer to the ground than typical clouds.

Yes, he was cremated after the autopsy. Maybe someone believes a 2nd look at the results/data may help?

I know that they kept samples, perhaps these can have further testing?

What is puzling to me are the dates on the autopsy, the results from toxicology were back pretty quick. FBI were in attendance for the examination also, but the results were not publicy released until May. Why the delay?

On the recent Dateline interview, MG was talking about the previous lives Chad (31) and Lori (21) lived. She also said Chad felt Lori was a powerful woman. So I would say your thought of validation & feeling special is true. Just part of his BS manipulation.

I really want to know how many people were in this group, when are we going to hear some numbers? My thought is they are going to be small and very intimate, that the gathering hadn't really began full tilt. Thoughts?

I think there were a lot of people in the groups that must not be named that were definitely into this as a hobby, something to read about, maybe go for a day of seminars, etc. I think very few who were willing to actually do anything that took a great deal of effort or who were in the inner circle, so to speak. Yes, got this impression when Nate asked her about , and then reiterated, the portal prayer to kill zombies in other states. Her quizzical look and reply “ something like that “-her words conversational somewhat innocuous but her expression showed a hint of defense.

I believe we will learn a great deal more during trial, but, unfortunately, I don't think we will actually learn the full truth about the cult... which includes the actual number of members, nor their full plan. JMO
