wow!! And did anyone else notice that the haze over the property looked an awful lot more like smoke than clouds? From a fire pit, perhaps? I’m thinking of satellite images you see of forest fires. Smoke is more wispy and grayish looking. That also looks to be closer to the ground than typical clouds.

Worth looking at, but when you view the full size version you can see the clouds are consistent with the full cloud cover:

The info from the school suggests a more pedestrian motive, or extra motive, for the murder of JJ -- beyond the Exorcist-lite guff LVD spouted about him crawling round the cupboard tops, knocking off pictures of Jesus, and all but spinning his head round by way of confirming his zombification. He was clearly not going to stop thinking or talking about CV, and so had become an additional obstacle to their project of reinvention.

I cannot even tell you how triggering this post is for me. Perhaps you have been fortunate enough to not have had to deal with a malignant narcissist in your life. Maybe you should watch the videos of Lori at the police station, manipulating the situation. That is a small glimpse of how the rest of CV's life would have been had he not given into her wishes and reconciled for the sake of her "getting his finances in order". She would have, and did, manipulate and gaslight and terrorize until she got what she wanted, all the while "charming" everyone around her to think she was a perfect angel and he was the bad guy. He was in a catch 22, because of Lori and Chad. Moo.

Honestly, not sarcastic at all........ but I am starting to believe that many of us who have "stuck it out" for months and months, DO have personal experiences that relate to, parallel, contrast, surprise us.... which makes us relive some of our own experiences in life.

But they had only just met. Two married people who'd known each other perhaps a couple of months as of late 2018. Chad used this line with 3 other women inside of the same year and from my understanding even within the same summer, moving from one to the other to the other. If he stopped doing this when he got to Lori, it was only because he finally found a woman that was willing to give him her full attention and possibly her body, and make him her top priority, without any concern for her own children and current husband.

If there is something deeper (or higher) here, I'm just not seeing it.

The purpose of that trip continues to bug me. I'm stuck between two possibilities- 1). to create a nice memory prior to Tylee leaving this earth. 2). they thought she could be pushed into one of the boiling hot springs and it would appear accidental.

Another alternative would be that she was supposed to leave with an unknown (to us) third party and she refused to go. Which led directly to her murder.

I think in some of these podcasts (which I have not heard) DW and MG were still defending CD and LV at this point.

Yesterday during Trisha's noon live You Tube for Websleuths, she asked for posters' impression of MG on the Dateline special. It was hard to describe what exactly folks found to be "off".

My impression is that MG is still struggling to not believe in CD's visions, prophecies, and teachings. MG tries hard not to condemn, just in case she has been deceived by Satan in all of this, and by golly, CD really was right all along. JMO

Sometimes when I think of how these people continue to believe...I think of notable church changes. I have no idea how the LDS church actually changed the rules on polygamy with their congregants. But obviously there were many many members that insisted that polygamy WAS the original practice of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young.. and those Fundamentalist groups still survive today. But I would bet there were lots of folks who were so torn that it took them years or generations to "drop" the belief. In some ways that is what I see in Melanie and DW and sooo many of the other "end-of-days" believers. It is hard to pull back from everything so the struggles remain.

JMO, I don't see any reason to go into depth on teachings, members, how many......at trial. Just need to know what the two currently on trial did.

I'm sure we'll all be running out to buy the book that does use more background to build up to what happened. I, for one, would be interested in that.

I finally saw the email yesterday that was the light/dark readings for Lori's family members. I wish I would have saved it, but I forgot to.

This was said to have been completed by CD for LV at the end of October 2018. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So was this thing based totally on the psychic visions of CD? Or was it based on scoring of characteristics that were described by Lori? Like a question/answer thing? CD did not know these people at all! How did he come up with this reading and why?

Lori was supposed to record a podcast episode with MG and DW when they visited her in September. That episode was never aired. Instead three episodes with just MG and DW were aired in early December. We don't know if PAP owners (a couple who lived in Rexburg) knew at the time that there was a welfare check at Lori's place on November 26 and that MG went to police on December 6.

IMO the podcast were pulled for the same reason that HS closed down his Pathway to Zion discussion forum: fear of excommunication. Unlike HS, PAP owners distanced themselves from Chad pretty early.

The September podcast that was never aired could contain evidence. I wonder if Lori was talking incoherently? Crazy talk? That was the night JJ was killed, right?

Yes, I watched the video again and noticed that when they zoomed in... wishful thinking, I guess! Regardless, this satellite photo is such a fascinating find!
