If the parent requests in writing, the school must test for IEP eligibility, unless they accepted the one from the other school. A student in my state with an IEP that is homeschooled does not qualify for district services. ( i.e. no IEP). Individualized Education Plan means it is different in some way or ways than the traditional mainstream plan

..couldnt she be charged with neglect through DDD? Not just any random person can provide the services in the IEP; if he needs OT, PT or Speech therapy, only a licensed therapist or someone under the direct supervision of that therapist...

I feel many people underestimate Idaho's insistence on being very backwards in certain matters.

She could say she prayed for JJ to improve and there's Nothing. Anyone. Could. Do.

I'm actually impressed the state has done so much to look for these kids and feel like if Tammy had not died suspiciously and the grandparents had not requested a welfare check, many years would go by before anyone looked for those kids.

An IEP is a learning plan for the public school. It wouldn't be applicable for homeschooling. In fact, it isn't even related. I get where you are trying to go, but there isn't anything illegal about homeschooling your kid with no supervision in Idaho and other states.
That is not true. You cant just not provide services to your child with a disability who requires therapy. That is neglect and/or abuse, and DDD and CPS WILL step in and make sure your child gets services or is removed from your custody.

Child endangerment? Lying to LE ? Here if you threaten someone harm or domestic violence they'd arrest you even if theres no proof, but you'd be let go. I've seen it. I'd also still look into any LDS or like of organizations here, I'm sure theres plenty preppers, and cult like groups here and there and everywhere

I have a bit of experience in AZ, that aside, NO WAY would a gal like Lori homeschool. MOO

In response to all the news articles today, Lori is about as much a prepper as I am and I need to stop at the grocery store on the way home so I have something to eat. MOO.

Where were they all these months then?

I get that what you say may be the case in other states, but it is not the case in Idaho. I have "friends" who moved there for this very reason. They are anti-vaxxers and anti-medicine.

Yes and much earlier in the thread we discussed that at length already.

BBM. Are you sure that that's the case? I was under the impression that the police did not have the results yet when they served Lori with the court order.
They said they had them and told the family then it was withdrawn and they said they didn't have them and MSM had to withdraw it. Weird.

How horrible. I guess that explains why Idaho is #28 and AZ is #1 when it comes to serving people with disabilities. I guess I am just used to a certain standard of care. Well, I guess that's just one more reason she was so anxious to leave AZ. Moo.

I don’t know what we can expect, but with the attorney being out of town, no sign in Idaho of the daybells, and maybe that random blue boat, perhaps Hawaii is where things may happen tonight.

If she doesn’t show, and is arrested for contempt, what can be done to get vital information? Meaning, legally, what can an interrogator do? Can they issue lie detector tests at this point? How long could she be held, and could CD also be detained? If arrested, what next?
She would have to consent to the polygraph.
