I personally think there’s less chance they were trafficked than there was of any of them making an appearance in Idaho today.

But then, I also believed the word “trafficked” is drastically overused. I heard it in conjunction yesterday in regard to a teen running off with her older boyfriend the other day.

I'm a Rexburg area local... After the public relations fiasco with Chad's daughter and a live reporter, everyone at work was given a blanket email reminder that what we say/do online ultimately reflects on our employer etc.

I've been gone for a bit.. life got busy. I wanted to throw on some comments but this thread moved way too fast!

In regards to phones...why worry about cracking it when you can more easily get the user to grant you access? I don't see either of these two being tech savvy and socially engineering works. Get them to click on the right link or download the right email and you can gain access to their device easily. I understand the FBI is assisting Rexburg and they would have considered this. As a security professional, it is what I would do.

I highly expect that there's a whole lot of sealed court documents in regards to this case and also misdirection by law enforcement to protect their strategy.

My opinion only here...I think there's a money laundering operation going on, in addition to the missing children. The resources being put on this from Rexburg, the FBI and Kauai tell me it is more than just the welfare check. The monitoring of the couple in Hawaii, travel and accommodations for Idaho law enforcement, costs for Kauai...that will add up for Rexburg's budget and has to be defensible.

There's something that really bothers me here. If these kids are dead [which, I believe they are], what was the point of killing Tylee?

I think most folks think the motive for killing the kids was because they witnessed the murder of Charles. I don't subscribe to that viewpoint for several reasons. But if Tylee did witness the murder, I think it makes sense.

Hate to say it but , see no show. Grab a chair because this is going to be the long haul. She's going to push her legal limits as far as she can. I'd be surprised if the extradite her. I think she might have to pay a couple slaps on the wrist and then she'll continue to play this game till someone gets tired or loses interest in the case. I'm waiting for the autopsy report. I think that's when things will really get interesting. I believe she's waiting for the same thing. She wants to make sure her name is clear of that before pursuing forward with this custody battle. MOO. Insert Michael Jackson eating popcorn meme right here. Lol.

His media empire is ripe for money laundering...or fraud or both, really. I don't believe for a second that he's just some dumb man in love and thus bamboozled.

Also, the search warrant executed on their Hawaii rental home...though the prosecutor states the children didn't go to Hawaii. So they didn't get a warrant for that.

I am sorry to hear that the children weren’t produced, but not surprised. I really don’t think they were trafficked but do agree, IMO, that something may have been done to JJ that was witnessed by Tylee or that she figured out, making it seem necessary to them that Tylee had to go too.

We used to have a poster here by the name of Dick Tracy Orlando. He worked in law enforcement. The defense for the case he was working on found out he was posting here (even though he wasn't even posting informaton about the case iirc, just answering personal questions and thanking people for their well wishes. It became a huge deal (more so for him than us.)
