What if this case was based on the irony of each of them thinking they were clearing the path toward marrying money...but they're both paupers.
She may have to start cutting hair again! Jmo

Add to the puzzle that in addition to Lori/Chad nuptials, Melani and Alex both married people associated w/AVOW in November 2019. Oh yeah, and Alex is now dead.
Apologies, I must've missed this, what is AVOW?
Lori has a round-about distant connection to someone with that surname. She may have not even met the person, but it was a name she could have picked up from public records. It would be comparable to the Brady Bunch episode where Jan makes up a name for a boyfriend and says: George, then sees a glass and says, "George Glass".I also thought this supposed statement had something to do with her spiritual beliefs, though I think they are delusional. This snip from the divorce papers Charles filed made me think that a Tylee may now be someone else:
“The next day Father was on a business trip in Houston and during another phone conversation she kept referring to Father as ‘Nick Schneider’ instead of Father’s name. Father asked who Nick Schneider was and Mother told him that Nick was Father’s real name because Nick had killed Father and taken his identity.”

Because she was a no show, they now have at least the option to look into extradition, which they may or may not still do. But immediately after the no-show, JJ’s grandma filed for custody. I see it as rungs on a ladder. Beyond frustrating, but small steps to help them build a big enough case that will not slip off.Um, so if a court order said she had to deliver the kids and she did not do so, and there are no consequences, then what was the point of that?? Like what is going on here? Why are these people still galavanting around HI?? Exasperated to say the least...
Yeah, that makes sense. Most people have no idea what authors make, and since Chad had speaking engagements and podcasts under his belt, he could have seemed a little more successful than he actually is. If Tammy had a large life insurance policy, he probably had the insurance payment within a month of Tammy's death. If that's the case, Lori wouldn't know whether the money was from his career, or insurance. On the other hand, with CV being murdered before he and Lori were divorced, it's likely that she would get a great deal of his money and belongings, and possibly an insurance payout. This would set Lori and Chad up for a life of luxury. Without kids in their care, they would able to make the money last longer. I dont think she will lol. But it is a small island.

ETA I am with you on the frustrating part. I don’t quite understand why she and Chad aren’t at least brought in for a very thorough interrogation to try to get some info. If anyone can explain that to a crime newbie, that’d be great.

No and we knew about his policy. But there’s information on that I can’t release. The “competition” tried though.
I don’t do publicity stunts. I never said my report will air at 10 tonight. Be patient. What I have is new whether I show you now or later. Trust that.
Yes, but Chandler PD still insists there is nothing suspicious about CV’s death. Absolutely nothing. Nothing at all.I think when you are deceased then that stuff usually becomes public info in probate records and such. Not sure about insurance policies though but I am sure that prosecutors could obtain this info when performing an investigation but MOO.
ETA the probable cause would be the suspicious death.
I wonder if the competition that tried is the other local AZ station that put out the article where Melani's name was misspelled.
So is it an interview that the competition couldn't obtain? With Lori's parents perhaps? He said earlier that there were three pieces of info, so I thought documents, audio tapes/transcripts or video surveillance. Others could get that as well, I suppose, unless it was up to the owner of information.Febuary 5,2020
