I believe it can't be discussed, in accordance with not discussing non-POI's, but it can be linked to.

According to a mod (post at link below, BBM):

NO sleuthing of living family members. If they say something in MSM or something is said about them in MSM, you may discuss what is said. You may NOT take what is said and sleuth out details on the individual and post about them on the public thread. Posts sleuthing family members will be removed.

Now I'm not sure - I've just found admin's earlier post about it and the reason seems to be that there is no confirmation of who that person was.

ADMIN NOTE:

There is no MSM link to a video or article to substantiate that the individual sticking out their tongue behind the reporter is in fact a family member.

If/when we have time, we'll try to go back and remove posts that reference it, but in the meantime please do not refer to it or continue to state it as fact.

Thanks.

Im not sure if this has already been posted but the second video on this local 8 news page is pretty interesting.
Are we allowed to discuss that because it's in MSM?
Law enforcement searching Daybell's home - Local News 8
So a car pulls up behind the reporter giving a report on the search of Chad Daybell's home. A woman in the car starts making faces towards the camera. The reporter later learned that that was Chad Daybell's daughter who also asked her to stop reporting.

Yes, I agree. The original video purportedly had no identification of the face-maker, and was pulled from the News8 website IIRC, at least according to individuals here who went looking for it after the fact. Clearly the reporter updated it in the interim with specific information on who was making the faces, which got posted again by the station after our people looking for it stopped doing so, thinking it would never be returned. (My strong suspicion about that, is that News8 wanted to clear any version even loosely identifying her with their legal counsel, before posting it.)

I've done a transcript so that we have a record here of the identification.

Local News 8 video published Jan 3rd, 2020. Law enforcement searching Daybell's home - Local News 8

Transcript: from 1 min 50 s

Linda Larson: Now Ariel you mentioned that the woman approached you during your report, what happened with that?

Ariel Schroeder: Well if we want to play the video [video is played - car pulls up behind Local News 8 reporter Ariel Schroeder reporting outside the family home of Chad Daybell, and female passenger is seen pulling faces and sticking out her tongue.] you can see the woman pulling up behind me. I later learned after that live shot that this is Chad Daybell's daughter, uh she asked me to stop reporting on the story where I had to tell her I was in my rights to do so.

LL: Well okay, and just watching that on there it just kind of is a little bit surprising, the mood doesn't really reflect the seriousness of this case.

AS: Well I didn't know what faces she was making at the time but when I later went back and watched the video and saw that I was in shock as well, like I was just surprised to see someone behave that way.

This is definitely either a momentary lapse in judgement or this is bizarre behavior. I can't imagine behaving in this way when there has been soo much happening. Just mom's body being exhumed and the house and property warrant, let alone the fact that 2 children are missing. Unless they think that this whole thing is a hoax or have reason to believe the children are safe, so it is a joke to them......The behavior in this case is truly bizarre by many of the main figures!!

FWIW, Google Maps thinks either one of those are good and are the same place.

All addresses in Madison county are based on the grid. Ball Road or any of the other named streets seen on google maps are never used unless they are in a subdivision.
Not picking nits....just saying that is the way addresses are used in Madison County.

So, I guess that the next step here is that Grandparents will be given custody of JJ, and Lori will have to bring him in. Again. And ignore the summons, again.

This case makes me sick. Kids can be missing for months, while their Mother lies on a beach at a Hawaiian resort.

Yes, this is an outside interested party. Maybe they saw the news? At one time Charles owned the company named in the filing exhibit but he disolved it in January of 2018. It was also an LLC so not sure how that would impact a private estate.

Would whoever inherits the life insurance also inherit debts? Let's not forget, they had failed businesses in the past. Perhaps there's some debt involved as well.

When I searched the probate document, it stated that Charles did not have a will filed in Harris County. I did a records search and found he mostly resided in Travis County. When I searched Travis County probate, I couldn't find anything.

Also the petitioners say to the "best of their knowledge" that Charles was divorced from Lori. The petitioners were unsure of the date of Charles marriage to Lori. Charles Obit does not mention Lori, so maybe the petitioners assumed he was divorced? ETA: Petitioners are creditors, business relationship. Requesting $200,000 from estate.
Put in the last name "Vallow"...do not put in first name. To read the document, must register, but it's free.

You know what this case really lacks? A motive. The life insurance payouts weren't all that big, and the family and relatives atill had ties to the kids or the deceased. Say Lori and whoever did kill whoever due to a cult, which we don't know yet. How does the cult profit?

Any life insurance payout is a bonus. I had a client stomped to death by her husband after a $7500 worker’s comp settlement payment. So dollar amount not necessarily indicative of anything except free money.
Cult profits bc a member is sucked in deeper. And will do more things for the cult. If the cult can get you to kill your kids, they REALLY have your mind warped. And will use that for whatever purpose they need to fill their needs. Sell more books. Tapes. Seminars. Sex. Money. Property. Murder. Drugs. You name it. There’s a cult for it.
And I bet LE considers other groups which use religion, doomsday, superior race or any other common ideology as their foundation, as cults, even though they may not rise to provable criminal conduct. Ponzi schemes come to mind. Some multi level marketing companies are another example. People get sucked up into the leader’s rhetoric, and they just go off the deep end. Entire countries have gotten sucked up into a politician’s line of control.
So, where’s the cut off? I don’t know. But I think the closer you get to crime to benefit the leaders, the more a group of people with the same ideologies rises to cult like status.

I have two questions. If they have been discussed I apologize, just let me know and I will research it. Also, if they are not appropriate questions just say the word. I am so confused about what can and can't be discussed that I don't say much.
*Did MB give an "explanation" for her trespassing incident? Why was she there?
*Though most everything LV says is not true was there any checking into her "supposed" trip to California for the "supposed" job? Does she have any fam there? Is there anyone that direction that might have her children?

No, and w/minor sleuthing I haven’t been able to find anything linking them to CV. I have ruled out Charles was not a part of their wedding party though, so there’s that.
It's likely Charles owed them money. His debts get paid first out of the life insurance settlement. They had failed businesses. Who knows what will be left after all that is done. Might not matter who the beneficiary is.

It’s super strange that a cop would do this , if there is someone with experience being a police officer I hope they chime.
Right off the old internet.
“The police are simply not trained for the job and crime scene cleanup is not their responsibility. Believe it or not, if a crime has taken place inside your home, then you are responsible for the cleanup regardless of the amount of blood and/or bodily fluids that is present”.

Can you imagine going home to your spouse???
“ Yep ,rolled up my sleeves sloshed about with towels -cleaning blood up at a murder scene inside a persons home today.”

No hazmat suit not proper training in biohazard clean up and disposal -
Makes one wonder what motivated this cop to do such a thing ....
In California the police doesn't clean up but there is a clean up company they call. I use to work for one. We get called by the police department to do clean up.

It's definitely bizarre. This daughter also posted comments on several Facebook posts for RPD and Eastern Idaho News claiming this story was much ado about nothing and that we just didn't have the whole story, but later went back and deleted them all. This was discussed in one of the early threads.
