Good question about summer clothes, @holsen

.

Lovely. NOT! This is disturbing. So it’s up to someone who may well know less about suspicious deaths than WS members to determine if it’s suspicious. If they think it is, it goes to LE who’ll investigate IF LE thinks it’s warranted.

How would LE know without having a medical examination? But there is no ME so someone has to find and schedule a doc to come look at the body. And PAY them to do it— probably from funds out of the city/county LE budget. Funds LE needs for new police cars, weapons, radios, computers, Kevlar vests, raises, add’l personnel and the annual Christmas Party.

Lots of reasons why LE wouldn’t recognize they need to investigate plus a few incentives not to if they’re on the fence. And easy to rationalize in a small town where everyone knows everyone that of course there was no foul play.

That’s just crazy to me. I’m foggy on why the Coroner is even there. Seriously, why? Just send in the local cop to say “Yep. She’s dead”. The cop at least has received first responder first aid training. He knows CPR . He’s been taught to check for signs of life. The Coroner may just know how to bake really good cookies.

Why not just let the cops confirm the persons dead and decide if it’s suspicious or not then act accordingly. The front desk officer or community service volunteer can type out the desk certificate and file it. Cut out the middleman.

Yep. If I were going to kill someone I’d head straight for a place w/a coroner.
Some states require more training of coroners. Some states have Medical Examiners that are doctors, some don't. Some states require MEs to be pathologists, some don't...

One story from my family member's Death Investigator training...in a state with an elected coroner a wealthy, politically connected family put up the money to get their "idiot son" elected so he would have something to do. He had no training whatsoever, didn't like blood, wouldn't go near a morgue. He sat in a bar all day and the sheriff would bring him the death certificates to sign, which he reportedly did without even reading them.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this here. If I'm not just let me know and I'll delete it. Annie Cushing is Joe Ryan's sister - Tylees aunt. (Joe Ryan is Loris third husband and Tylees dad). Apparently she's following the case very closely and she has has put together this amazing timeline on the case on her website: Timeline of Events Around the Disappearance of Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow - Annielytics.com

Again, if I'm not supposed to post this, delete it or let me know.

I know that JR claimed to speak with him three weeks before Tammy’s death, and after a long falling out prior. And she may have actually had that conversation. But when you look at her total podcast, where she makes those claims, it is self evident that she is trying to put the spotlight on herself.

I see that the touring company states speakers at their conferences didn’t get paid, but they said nothing about payment for the podcasting efforts.

In the end, I don’t understand how either of these points makes much of a difference.
Because, if it is true he said when Tammy passes he was getting out of the book business, that has come to pass. So is that proof his visions are authentic or that he is a murderer and manipulator?

This is actually a "Libertarian" value, that the government has no right to compel people to do anything.

Lori Daybell has not been charged with any criminal activity, and she has the right to not self incriminate.

The police can't arrest her for murder, there is no evidence that the children are dead. She doesn't have to prove their existence. The government would have to prove that they no longer exist.

It is simple, but also very sophisticated. And it worries me that many criminals may be watching this case very closely.

I would be interested in what types of articles and books Lori Daybell has read. Did she follow the trial of Drew Peterson? How he was able to evade authorities for so long, until his narcissism brought him down.

I just keep thinking that these POIs just aren’t very smart, so they must be hooked up with career criminals. It reminds me somehow of Ted Bundy’s escapes from jail. Maybe Lori and Chad are just holed up in Kauai studying law right now, and will try to be their own defense attorneys. ‍♀️

There is a Feb 10 deadline I don't understand, I think from Idaho Child Protective Services. Can anyone explain or point me to what that means? That is tomorrow.

@Gardener1850 I think the storage unit needs to be added to the timeline unless it's in a later version I haven't seen yet.

dates are -

1st Oct 2019 approx 2pm - Lori rented a 10x10 storage unit at Self Storage Plus in Rexburg, for $53 a month on her credit card. She is on cctv driving a blue Nissan Rogue.
2nd Oct cctv shows a time of 1:28pm - Lori returned to the storage unit with a man who appears to be Alex Cox. It appears he may take a tire into the unit on this date.
3rd Oct - Lori again returned to the storage unit with a man who appears to be Alex Cox. It appears he removes a folded car seat and tire from the unit on this date.
6th to 26th Oct - a man presumed to be Alex Cox visits the storage unit alone 5 times, dropping off a variety of items including gun cases, and removing heavy totes.
28th Oct -Two men move childrens' bikes into the unit.
24th Nov - Lori and a man visit the storage unit for 4 minutes, for the last time, and remove a large tote.
27th Nov - detectives go to the storage unit with a search warrant. Inside they find and photograph children's belongings and memorabilia.
Jan 2020 - Lori's credit card payment on the storage unit is declined several times and they are unable to contact her. They notify police.

Good find. It must be awful knowing that your niece and her brother are out there somewhere and reading all this. MOO

This is the subforum at AVOW. I'm sure you've seen the discussion about it throughout this case. (Actually seeing it requires paying the price of admission.)
I have seen no evidence that Chad managed that group and got paid by it as the other poster is claiming. Facts like that need links. That's why I asked for a source from that poster. Yes I have heard and seen AVOW discussed but not in relation to these new facts mentioned.

Records from running the license plate show that the vehicle was last sold on April 14, 2019 out of Spring, TX (Part of Houston/Harris County) by AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Spring. The VIN of that vehicle is 1C4GJXAN6JW326205.
Nice sleuthing, I'd love to know how you got that info.

One of the VIs posted a list of vehicles LE asked him about, one was a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport 2 Dr with VIN ending in 326205.

There is a second Jeep on that list, 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport 4Dr.

There is no Jeep Cherokee so maybe the theory posited earlier today that the Private Investigator misspoke when he said Cherokee is a good theory. MOO

Has anyone seen any reports of CD and LV showing up to church today? Curious how bold they are and how the rest of the congregation would take this for a second week. I'm willing to bet it's been w whirlwind week for the Bishop with all of the questions about them being there.
It is only about midday in Hawaii right? What time are Church services? It was the Kapaa church last week.

I don't see them have a combined income of $30,000 per month working as a gravedigger and hairstylist.
Maybe LV makes extra cash babysitting?

Kidding, I hope.

I have the dates in my notes for the next update. Storage unit info came out just after I posted Update#5, the current version at start of the thread. I'm not sure when I will post the next one. Please add the above and your excellent transcript of the video in post#792 to the media thread for us to reference in the meantime. Thanks @Tortoise !

I think he just really cared about his children
That's what I think. Charles was trying to hold things together and even if he and Lori were on the outs, Tylee is his stepdaughter. It's not weird for a dad to buy his daughter a vehicle. It's also not strange for a man in his 60s to want to hold on to his family. A divorce would also make it more difficult for Charles to travel for his job, Lori is very pretty, and they had been married for a decent amount of time. We also don't know what happened between Lori and Charles. Maybe she made it sound like she wanted to reconcile and he decided to try to work through their problems.

Wait, my wires got crossed. No one has seen the kids. I meant Chad and Lori better stay away from Kona. If they come here I'll throw the giant centapede always hanging out by my deck at them.

I am playing catch up on the thread but should we discount the possibility that the Big Island might provide information relevant to the case?

Once Brandon was shot at (allegedly) by Alex, I think Arizona LE's reference to "cases" surely included Charles's shooting. Brandon would have had firsthand knowledge that Alex was the one who had shot and killed CV, (whether in self defense or not), and once Alex shot at him, LE certainly would have looked back into/reopened that case to include it when they contacted Idaho LE.

The latter. Based on speculation that the “cases” AZ LE were referring too probably didn’t include CV’s death since Chandler PD considered that case essentially closed.

Maybe rom service, but I doubt it. Who would accept them as guests? The hotel industry talks to each other a bunch,

I can't imagine any hotel would accept them, but here we are...

Money is money...and possibly some free publicity.

MOO, people like CD and JR go around after the fact saying "I predicted that" and people eat it up. If these people can see the future and they are all in Vegas all the time getting married and they need money why not go play roulette?
