Someone mentioned a week or two back here on WS that Tylee was active on SM, but using Snapchat and other SM platforms that don't leave a public footprint. Anyone on this forum have knowledge of 16-17 year olds today and their SM use? Does that seem reasonable?
I’m not sure they said she was using but IF she was and yes that would be correct.

but my thought on this is, she doesn’t have anybody to talk to. You don’t post on Snapchat or talk to people on Snapchat without someone to talk to. If she’s talking to someone, a friend, you’d think they’d be reporting it.

Maybe he was used to it. Or knew with her history of lying he might get the truth or not. Jmo
Or knew with her history of lying she might not be moving at all, he might have thought she threw that out there just to get a reaction out of him.

Stupid Question Alert - I know nothing about Copyrighting. Are CD and LV getting a kickback on ABC's purchase of the pictures? Or more specifically would the photographer be required to split or give a percentage to them?

Snapchat is certainly very popular with teenagers. Snapchat can certainly seem more private than other social media, especially since the content disappears and it isn't publicly viewable, though it doesn't prevent people from taking screenshots of what you post.

Ooh. New video there of Lori and Chad going into church on Sunday! Can we figure out which church location that was they were shown entering? I think it must be this past Sunday (Feb 9) and not the Sunday we heard about before (Feb 2). Someone was waiting for them to return and ready with a camera. MOO.

New questions for parents of missing kids

Interesting video, from the looks of them entering the church she appears to be taking a submissive role with him.

If Melani didn't want her own children then why would she ever take responsibility for Lori's? MOO

Good question, but we know she does want her kids because she tried to take them. I think she left without thinking things through on how to get custody and the attempt on BB's life was a way to do it. I believe her new husband also has a couple of kids for whatever it's worth.

I can somewhat understand CR not knowing where LV was moving, but still seems odd.
He may have learned not to ask questions about touchy financial issues (especially if the financial issues were/are shady), she seemed to move often and if moving involved legal/financial issues, she may have shut him down or blown him off.
If she moved often enough it may have just been “normal” for him to not ask questions. Also there are certain personality types (possibly LV) when questioned can feel attacked and will use emotional manipulation and make someone feel, at best, stupid for even asking.
My guess is that CR learned to keep distance and not question LV financial/legal decisions, including moving.
She comes across as mean and vindictive if you get on her bad side - a control tactic that works with many children and some adults.
I’m guessing the children witnessed this. -MMO

I am kinda watching the courts in Idaho on this. I am wondering if Kay and Larry Woodcock will be in person or if this will be a conference call. I am thinking the later and the attorney will represent.
Autopsy of Alex Cox still "pending".

02/12/2020 Civil Hearing

Judicial Officer
Eddins, Faren Z.

Hearing Time
04:45 PM

What concerns me about those scheduled hearings is that LV will have to be served for them all. I don't think that will be easy! I cant see a prosecutor or the FBI getting involved in that to do it.

Get enough people camped out there to take pictures of them and they might go elsewhere. :)

I looked and it appears all of the Mormon churches on Kauaii (there are 5 of them) have the blue and white-ish color scheme.

When Alex intentionally glances around the hallway when he entered the storage unit one of the times he is (or is thought to be) on camera there....is he trying to be certain no one is observing them? And if so, why?
I don't believe he is glancing around as the reporter states. If you watch the video closely he is just sort of staring out the window and then very abruptly turns his head toward the camera, the kind of thing you do naturally if you hear a loud noise. I think someone else opened a storage locker off camera and he was just reacting to the sudden noise.

Yeah, I think attending church is a ploy for them to get (or keep) people on their side. Since there has been no evidence that the kids are not alive, some people could view this as devout, dedicated church goers being harassed by the media.

I don't think it's about getting people on their side because most LDS are law-abiding, and would not think highly of this game at all.

Not giving up hope that the kids are alive, but the expert at the end of the video had some good insights.

I’m also bugged at this church-going nonsense. I feel like they are making a mockery out of the countless good people in the world who go to church (or don’t, but try in other ways) to become a little better, trying to improve, and fixing weaknesses. You know, repentance. I would love to go to their ward and sit on their pew and ask them how ANYTHING they are doing lately has been Christlike. Turn yourselves in first and then worship from prison. Ugh. MOo

At least in public when they are pretending to be good church-going Mormons... I still think Lori is probably the one with more control behind the scenes. She may even be able to manipulate Chad by making him believe he is the one making decisions and she'll do what he wants. If Chad were really in control he could make her tell where the kids are. Regardless of what happened to Tammy, Chad shouldn't have a motive to not want the kids to be safe-- unless of course he knows that they are not safe but dead, and he is protecting his wife so that she will also protect his secret about Tammy. In which case, it seems like Lori has the upper hand in this relationship. If LE ever gets these 2 arrested and they both agree to talk in separate interviews, I'd give 10 to 1 odds that Lori will be the first to turn on Chad and blame it all on him. But Chad will probably not turn on Lori because he will believe he has too much to lose by do so, including her. MOO.

I'm not just referring to members of the LDS church, but there are some in my neighborhood that think this is a false drama created by the media. Technically, they haven't committed any major crimes that we are aware of and there are some that think they should be left alone.
