IF (and I realize it's a huge IF) they used them to dispose of the children as previously alluded to/speculated in another comment, it would have significance. As the time is a ticking, there is a lot of potential footage that has been or will be lost.

Personally, as an active LDS, we avoid the beach on Sunday, other than walking on the boardwalk maybe. We attend church, spend time with friends or family, but save the beach for weekdays. But, other LDS may have their own views on this.

The household was cooperative with them and showed them the tip was false. I'm a little nervous of the implications this event might have, but there's no reason to suspect anyone is at risk right now.
•Based on recent family discussion it sounds like no Douglas will be making public statements or doing anything with any media. Despite the fact everyone has had reporters show up on their doorstep. My activity on Websleuths may be the most the family will tolerate.
•For privacy reasons I won't go into details but it's been made known to me that Chad has contacted people more-or-less saying: "The Second Coming is happening this July". It's been remarked that none of the pre-Second Coming prophecies Chad made have happened yet, and him saying this directly opposes the LDS teaching/doctrine of "no one will know when the Second Coming will happen".

If Chad was innocent, he would have done the right thing and reported Lori a long time ago. He would not have hooked up with a potential serial killer. IMO the two planned things together. He knew she had children and they couldn't have just vanished into thin air. They could only get together after getting rid of their spouses. Life insurance money would provide them with funds that divorces would not. As for the deaths, they justified them with their crazy cult philosophy.

Do we have any insight to Tammy having insurance, and if or if not it was paid out. I know that LE suspicion of Tammy's death came out before any knowledge of missing kids or AZ deaths.... so if they thought it was suspicious, would insurance have held up payout.

The FLDS are a very closed knit community and there would be no reason for them to help Chad and his group, at all. Also, the polygamous groups in mexico are not the same group as the FLDS in texas/southern utah and Canada. But, there's been no evidence of any ties to these groups and Chad and Lori. We have no evidence that Chad and Lori believe in polygamy even. The group that would help is that private group on prepper forum that Chad was a part of. IMO. They share beliefs, ideas and plan for a doomsday future and would have more of a reason to believe they were helping Chad. They are more likely to keep the children hidden from LE if Chad said Lori and her children were being victimized by the govt. MOO.

Glad to hear from you. But sorry to hear someone has put in a false tip -what a nasty thing to do. But at least LE are following up which is encouraging. Thank you for the tip about the Second Coming in July, that appears to be from Chad. I guess they are staying in Hawaii for the next 5 months then at least. Well- he did. He was paid from one of her other accounts. She actually has two other accounts and we can’t see transactions for one of them.

I don't have a link for you, but Colby explained the Venmo account and the transactions. It was an interview with Justin Lum.

He explained it- but he needed a follow up question IMHO. Fact is we can see he was paid from Tylee and from Lori.

A couple of weeks ago I got curious about the FLDS angle and did some research. I was not completely unfamiliar since I grew up in Arizona. What surprised me is how many unrelated FLDS groups there are. I think I found a list of nearly 2 dozen. In the end I concluded a connection to any of the splinter LDS groups is highly unlikely.

But I agree, the prepper group is the key. I read a post from 2011 today on a mainstream LDS forum about AVOW from a former member. It said their (AVOW) plan is to camp out in the Rockies for a year before the end. I'm finding people that seem to have dropped out of society around July of last year and I am really curious if they are connected to AVOW.
