For speculation purposes, obviously they both hid things from people- how do we know FOR SURE Chad didn't think he had many wives in his secret prophet life? I dont think FLDS cults and other cults are that much different IMO, the stories out there seem so similar when it comes to this stuff and we dont hear anything about drugs, they could be taking things for "spiritual" reasons - Hawaii is known for that, lots of those kinds of retreats here and keep in mind we do have and had the Warren Jeff's community here for a while and who knows how far up or down the this ladder goes... who got involved knowingly or unknowingly- the secrets will haunt those who dont share what they know! And there will be NO reward for ANY of them in any kind of Heaven.

I think you can argue that one cult is not much different from another or that all religions fit this same pattern. I wouldn't argue with you. But the issue is that if you're in the organization, whatever you want to call it, that it's your people versus the other people. Whatever group Chad and Lori are in has no relationship with the FLDS and even if they are much the same, they won't see it that way, even if the vast majority of people outside of those two cults would see them as much the same. (Those people who see them as the same would also argue that their particular cult of choice is different though, even if it isn't.)

The case in Idaho that generated the order to produce the children came from a case where the State of Idaho is the adversarial party to Lori. It is not a case for or by the Grandparents. We have not seen the docket of that case by the State because such proceedings are non-public. It is separate and distinct from the Guardianship case that was filed by the Woodcock's several days after Lori was served. Under Idaho Statutes only State Attorney's (elected in each county) have standing to initiate a Child Welfare case. The Department of Health and Welfare which has the CPS function in Idaho does not have standing to do so. So, this is an action by the State and has nothing to do with Grandparents' rights which is an entirely different matter.
It is my belief, if she were to produce the children unharmed ( which would be the greatest outcome), she would not lose custody of her children to the state. If all she did was hide/isolate them from their entire family and friends, not provide the special therapies and equipment/service dog to JJ, misuse or alter the dosage of meds, and had them stay with an unknown party in an informal arrangement because she no longer wanted to be bothered with them, and LIED CONTINUOUSLY there is ZERO chance she will lose custody over them. I tried for 6 months in Washington to have anyone hear me regarding my own child in a similar situation ( with every one of those things happening and more), all the way up to Kyle Wood's and Jay Inslee's offices, and Idaho is exponentially more conservative. She MAY have a CPS case open for a couple of months of checks, due to this being a national case, but she wont lose custody. Mooo.

Brandon Boudreaux apparently hired a private investigator after he was shot at, Brandon believes Alex shot at him.
Tammy dies, is buried in Springville, UT. Chad and Lori get married on the beach, and more commercials
thank heavens Brandon did this...i have thought many times..so much else would have been trackable.

They say that Lori and Chad came back to Rexburg, ID after their marriage. Back to the Woodcock's, found address in Idaho, because Lori was still charging items on Amazon, they found the receipts on Charles's gmail account.

Then, the police did a "well check" on JJ, were sent on goose chase. Police came back, Chad and Lori were gone. And now, Tammy's death is considered suspicious.
Yes...this was a new detail..of how the Woodcocks tracked Lori by having access to Charles' email account. This is another great break in this case.

It’s not sounding good for Chad, is it? Initially, to some people, Lori seemed like the one who was leading Chad astray. I think the above quoted info shows that Chad is potentially involved in some serious stuff.

I really hope that Tammy’s autopsy can determine a COD.

And no way that Chad was unaware that Lori had kids. No way. He knew. IMO
I go back and forth with the greater blame.. But now... I just think they were truly born bad seeds--hadn't yet germinated--and landed in the same pod to excel in their essence.

i dunno... seems to me that there is enough ammunition and other family members who would maintain "child endangerment".

They can only take about $9,000 in cash. That may be the issue.
Why ? You can take as much money as you want out of the US. You only have to declare anything over $10,000.

That's what I'm saying..you would *think* that all of that would constitute child endangerment, neglect, or abuse, but in practice, what they are willing to charge her with is not going to be much, and the children will be allowed to stay in this type of situation, just as they and countless others always are. Moo.

I agree it’s odd, he doesn’t seem progressive...what would be the point? I guess he only got to use his new name for a couple of weeks. MOO
seems so very obvious...to stay hidden.

IF she were to produce the children...

As things stand, if she does not respond to and challenge the state's allegations, the court has sufficient cause to take custody of the kids.

IMO she cannot produce living children.

I just feel they have so many tids and bits on so many potential crimes, that coming forward on one is going to jeopardize the other... And they just MUST be tight lipped about it all.

Yes, I totally agree. And then decide if they should be wards of the state, or if the Woodcocks should have guardianship. So, if she truly wants to keep custody of them, she needs to reply quickly. And she can't claim ignorance later. Moo.

Not true. It's not impossible to prove a homicide without a corpse.

Not impossible, but a lot more difficult. They need some concrete evidence of death, not just somebody's missing and we think they're dead.

That’s awesome. Funny they had access to the gmail account tho, perhaps in his paranoia he shared the password?

That amount has stood for about 40 years or so

Yeah, everyone knew Josh Powell killed Susan but he was free to kill the two boys later.
