I've heard they have advised the family, and then give the public the results later this week. That said, perhaps there was nothing conclusive, as if there was, I would have expected an arrest. And they have finally gotten up in their grill, it seems to me even though it's inconclusive, that they believe they both were up to no good, and put the pressure on IRT the kids. Thankfully they rousted them, searched their condo, yanked their car, gave them a 5 day notice to appear. Game on! Prepare the popcorn!
Lori and Chad can prepare to be emasculated as Lori did to Charles.

Mom of 2 missing kids found in Hawaii with new husband

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police say the mother of two missing kids has been found in Hawaii along with her new husband, but there’s still no sign of the children in the cross-country investigation that includes several mysterious deaths.

Police in Kauai pulled over Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell near a beachside resort on Saturday, later searching them and their car for any evidence. But authorities in Idaho say there’s no sign that 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan ever made it to Hawaii, and federal, state and local law enforcement agencies are still searching for the kids who haven’t been seen since September.

They also served Vallow with a court order from Idaho, directing her to bring her kids to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare by Thursday or face legal action. Still, neither Lori Vallow nor Chad Daybell have been charged or arrested in connection with the matter, Kauai police said Sunday in a prepared statement. bbb

I'm wondering if they can do anything that would notify LE or prevent them from getting on an international flight so that even though they might have a passport they couldn't use it.

I'm doubtful that they were before, but I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't now and won't be for the next ... I don't know, maybe 5 or 6 day.

One thing to understand about the police in Hawaii is that they are almost always VERY short-handed. I really doubt that KPD has the resources to devote to watching C&L. The FBI and RPD officers here in Kauai are probably watching but the (RPD) don't have any police powers here so the best they could do is call KPD if they try to flee. Fortunately the nature of being on an island means that is probably enough to stop them.

The police are very limited in what they can do here on private prroperty. They generally can't enter private property to do surveillance, including the common areas of a gated community. It's also a very small place - not hard to spot the difference between the locals, tourists, and cops.

So while I suspect the RPD is watching them, I doubt they are doing so secretly. C&L know they are being watched closely at this point.

Well I was proven wrong. I really expected them to be hiding in a bunker or some remote place in ID, AZ or Mexico. (A place far enough from prying eyes, but close enough for friends to supply provisions etc)

I know Lori loves nice things, but people find prepping exotic and the thrill of hiding and life on the run exotic. (Bonnie and Clyde as referenced above) I didn't expect them to be in plain sight. This reminds me of Casey Anthony and her partying while Caylee was missing.

I live in Hawaii. The background is exactly what it looks like in a developed area like Princeville. The Norfolk pines are a dead giveaway. They also appear to be on a golf course so given the shape of the pool it shouldn't be too hard to find the exact location in google maps. But I doubt knowing that would add anything.

It is interesting that you said that the picture of Chad and Lori was in Princeville. Nice to have locals posting. Did you suspect that they had gone back to Hawaii before yesterday?

I guess I was 50% Kauai and 50% somewhere in Montana until yesterday, especially given that both had previously stayed in Hawaii.

Doggonit! Where are these kids? I am certain they paid the ultimate price for being witnesses to the demise of Lori's soon-to-be-ex. She is one cold witch. She is colder than I even imagined. I sincerely hope that the autopsy was not inconclusive!! Tammy deserves justice, because I know she didn't die a natural death. Her parents are such down-to-earth people. This has just absolutely shaken up their world.

What's interesting to me is that even though they're not talking their facial features and body language are speaking volumes. Chad appears upset (in a mad sort of way, not necessarily sad), distraught, like a deer caught in the headlights, and not sure how to deal with the situation he's suddenly found himself in - his world is beginning to crash in around himself. While Lori, Lori looks just like in the Arizona body cam footage - smug. It's almost as if she is basking and gloating, thriving in the spotlight of attention, above the law, not a care in the world about other people, only herself. MOO. I hope my observations are wrong, for the sake of everyone involved.

Yeah, I'm thinking when it came to all that prepper, end of the world stuff, they talked the talk, but didn't walk the walk. I think their motivations are psychopathic, and all about what benefits them. Money and getting rid of anyone who was in their way. They are charlatans.

In my very first post on this case, I said Lori was going to be needing her nails done and hair did. Yep.

It's going to be a long 3-day wait for such a seemingly simple request. It would have been even more simple 4 months ago. I would be overjoyed to see JJ and Tylee appear with Lori in Idaho. But, if it doesn't happen - as many of us suspect it won't - what legal argument could she have for not complying? Ugh... Like I said it's gonna be a long three day wait.
