Ideas for book title

  • #41
How does one go about obtaining photos of certain things? I have always wondered that.

I have a buddy who just got a book of his own published. I'll aks him.

title suggestion...
JonBenet:Broken Little Beauty Queen

sounds a bit morbid..but, that is how I picture her...like a fragile little angel that was used and broken and tossed away like yesterdays garbage.

Chapter Title.

I think you have a unique insight to this case, being that you were IDI for so long. You can present the facts that swayed you and eventually turned you. That will help alot of people that either, 1. are new to the case or 2. are still fence sitters.

That's what I'm hoping for!

The first chapter is done! Oh, boy. First blood is drawn.

Introduction
The story of JonBenet Ramsey's life is (the-omit) one we've all seen on all those primetime cable crime shows and read in all those supermarket rag magazines: a stunningly beautiful little girl; a beauty queen at six-years-old. She was, as described by all who knew her, as charming, smart and trusting.
She had everything going for her. Looks, money, family. Her father, John Bennet Ramsey, was a major executive for Access Graphics Inc., a branch of the famous Lockheed Martin aircraft company. Her mom, Patricia Ann, known to her friends, who were many, as Patsy, had been a beauty pageant queen from her childhood days growing up in West Virginia. JonBenet seemed to be not just following in her mother's footsteps, but outshining her.
JonBenet had an older brother named Burke, as well. He'd been so close to JonBenet (ever-omit) (add ",")since she was born(.-omit-add,) (It -change to "it")seemed like nothing could break them up.
On the day after Christmas 1996, the world changed. JonBenet was killed. To this day, her killer has not been arrested.
This book seeks to answer the big questions.
WHY was JonBenet killed?
WHO killed her?
WHY haven't they been punished?
IS there any hope for this case?
This book was not written by an insider from the case. It was not written by a legal professional. It was written by a dedicated internet crime hound who is sick and tired of year after year of injustice. Should you choose to continue, you will undoubtedly read things that will be upsetting. You will be reading the facts as I know them to be, and my opinions and speculations along the way. I think you will have moments where you will be sickened. More than likely, you will become angry. It may very well shock you. (. But-omit) (add-However,) to stay silent is to take part in a travesty. I can stay silent no longer. You've read the stories, heard the talking heads, watched the video.
NOW, you will hear the truth.[/quote]

:clap::clap::clap::clap: Good Job!!!!!!!!
SD, So sorry for breaking out my blue ink pen. As a former teacher it is still difficult for me not to 'edit' a little. I hope it is not offensive. I know your intro is a rough draft. If you would prefer us to read and not 'edit', please, just say so. :blowkiss:

I have something of a problem, here.

On the one hand, I really don't want to have to rehash the entire case. After all, books like PMPT, ITRMI and DOI do a fine job of that. But I feel if I don't, the average person will lose out, and I don't want that. Worse, if I just give my take on it, which I plan on doing anyway, it could turn out to be a short book!

Oh, heck. I'll just write and see where it takes me. (Worked for Patsy! Oh, I am going to HELL for that crack! LOL)

Dave have you though of writing with a voice,(your oun could be quite intresting), or of Jonnie b's maybe you could even be a mad house wife such as Pats or what if you were a knight in shining armer, who at every twisted turn tried to save johnnie B,from her attacker but since you are only her angel you have no power to save her but you can report what is taking place,, don't write she was killed ,she was murdered.Or what if every menber had a voice even Linda the maid, to santa, even to the friends of whom we will never know of what they were going to confront Pats with ..so many possiblities

SuperDave....I'm happy you are pursuing a book on the death of little JonBenet. Although there are books out there...there are none about the Internet Culture...the amateur sleuthers and their theories. This would be a very interesting book indeed...

"Internet Sleuthers Solve the Death of JonBenet Ramsey"

You can gain permission (for a small fee) of pictures of JonBenet to put in your book. One such agency is Zuma, another is Ramsey photographer friend (forget her name).

The most recent JonBenet Ramsey book out is Joyce Carol Oates "My Sister, my Love". I purchased it and the author is using a Burke-did-it theory.

Perhaps it would be better as one of those quotes just before the intro.

Great idea.

I was thinking about Truth. Truth needs not to defend itself. It speaks plainly and clearly in and of itself. Facts represent truth.

If you state the facts of the case, truth will emerge clearly from the facts.

(Do you get my point?)
