LOL! No. Norman Peterson (as Diane Chambers would refer to him).

I'm totally lost. Who are Norman Peterson and Diane Chambers?

P.S. CK, I hope you know I was kidding about the Norman Bates.

I thought of coloradokares in aurora borealis with an angel But hubby said if I put anything on there that could associate to JB I would probably get in real trouble somehow??? I didnt think anyone would even notice or connect the dots.

I can't see how anyone would associate "coloradokares" with JBR or her murder. After all, only we know what the name means.

I wanted to put either the date or JBR or something on there. It was kaboshed as not a good idea. My husband is actutely aware of the ridicule ... and where that landed me a few months ago. He wants me to let it go now. I cant. Maybe Ariel? That is so overdone. Maybe this boat wont have a name. Does anyone remember the picture of Jon Benet on a boat so innocent, just a little girl.....

That was the photo I was thinking about when the idea of coloradokares and the angel and the initials or date came to me.... after all, Colorado the people here care, we have never given up hope to see justice done.

It was most likely what is known as a lawn jockey holding a lantern.

You are right...and they also hid a house key under it. Who names their Lawn Jockey....especially something French? That is like naming you child's swingset or something.

I never would have. I didn't associate it with JB, until I read..."But hubby said if I put anything on there that could associate to JB, I would probably get in real trouble somehow??" And I was like...what does JB have to do with the name that she wants to give her boat?? Nobody would even give it a second thought....trust me.

The picture on the paperback cover of PMPT is indeed one of the few photos where JonBenet looks like a normal little girl.

Maybe your husband would like the idea of combining syllables or letters from both your first names into a name for the boat? For example, from Mike and Rachel you would get "Mira", which also means "the wonderful" in Latin as well as "look" in Spanish (look at that great boat!). There are lots of possibilities to experiment a little here.

I looked at it again;it looks like she's driving the boat,or pretending to anyway..she looks like she's having a lot of fun.I think that would be a great way honor her.
JR said he named one of his planes after his first daughter that was killed, but I don't recall reading that he ever did anything with JB's name.

Our new little grandaughters name is a combination of my first name and our other sons middle name and the other sons wife, and their daughters middle name . We have a unique situation where two brothers married two sisters so iin the end , she had her own name comprised several of of the families names:crazy: I love the name Mira if you combined mine and my hubbys well ... so far I have not come up with a thing that works!

And in terms of his dumbness when it came to JonBenet's vaginal symtpoms, doctor Beuf certainly lived up to his last name ...

Nice one, rashomon!

The evidence is weighted, whether RDI likes it or not. The RN, the cord, paintbrush, and JBR's injuries are all given more weight as evidence than somebody's after-the-fact opinion on what a doctor said or didn't say about whether there was or wasn't evidence of prior abuse.

IOW, the fibers, pineapple, how fast the R's left Boulder, what JBR"s pediatrician said or didn't say, etc. etc., carry very little weight as evidence in her murder.

The answer to JBR's murder is probably in the RN, the cord, paintbrush, or her injuries. Probably not in pineapple, pediatricians, or armchair experts.

I'm sure the investigators will be pleased to hear that, since they obviously don't know it!

Well, I am one RDI who puts very little weight into what the pediatrician said or the RN. I put a lot of weight into the pineapple, the (estimated) time of death, the tape and cord (both applied after death, IMO) and the actions of the Rs since minute 1 after the death.
Armchair sleuths just MIGHT solve the crime one day. You never know. And whichever way it goes, RDI or IDI, I would be so happy to see it solved. It should never be about which theory was right. It should ONLY be about justice for an innocent finally served.

the so-called 'evidence' that wasn't and isn't,was weighted down with $$ from the R's pockets.

the evidence all ties together..you can't separate the cord from the fiber evidence, for example...and the pineapple speaks for itself.I put very little stock into what Dr Beuf goof says..he was obv. in cahoots w. the R's,or he wouldn't have acted so unprofessionally.

armchair experts...yes,the R's hate those...they told the truth.what the R's wanted were amateur idiots they easily could fool...not so w. the armchair experts.

the cord Patsy bought at the hardware store, the paintbrush that was Patsy's and had her fibers in the tray where it was kept, the head bash likely done by Patsy, and ring mark abrasions on JB...yes,those are all evidence.
