Maybe GA needs to stop drinking the "CA Kool-Aid"!

I see this as the 'Anti-Truth Game' began by Casey over 10 years ago. The A's have been programed to role play into the 'Defense of the False' to keep playing. In their 'Dream World' they must pretend that the game is winnable. That is their reality. It is one thing to control people and another to control the absence of people. Caylee is absent. If the 'Truth' is recovered then the control doesn't exist. Control in the absence of people requires 'fictions'. Defending the False against the Truth creates a divided Mind. That is the source of all the contradictions. The A's should have never played the Anti-Truth Game with Casey.
Casey told the detective that she was terrified. Well, the distance between the Charade and the Truth is an abyss. That is her fear. She will never get out now that too many are playing the game. She can't get out the of Dream Story.
Casey's fantasy control using fictitious people has morphed into a community play. If one can't control real people is it easier to control fictitious people?
Why is Caylee absent? Or is she?
You are looking for a rational explanation for how they can hold on to these beliefs, and I'm afraid that train left the station some time ago.
KC is a known and proven liar to G&C, yet they choose to believe her. That makes no sense, yet it is what it is. Once they have made that leap into Caseyland, it's babysteps to believe someone broke into the tow yard, stashed a body in the trunk of the car, broke back in and took it away, the local LE, FBI, and assorted labs across the country are all involved in some conspiracy, because of course they would have a stake in Caylee being taken away an never being found....

Cindy doesn't trust the police -- because they aren't drinking the Kool-Aid with her.
Cindy at this point just believe that Caylee is missing. She for some reason has blocked out EVERY OTHER DETAIL in this case. Watch the interviews. She basically is angry because the police can't find her granddaughter. That's where it ends.
Cindy cannot take back what she has said. You cannot say your daughter is a sociopath and then just take it back.
You can put the facts of this case in front of a fifth grader and they would be able to tell you what happened.
and left no evidence in both of those break ins. Funny how someone broke into the trunk two times, yet George had to have a KEY to get into it.You are looking for a rational explanation for how they can hold on to these beliefs, and I'm afraid that train left the station some time ago.

I am new to Websleuths and I hope that making this new thread is ok because I have not seen this topic.
If George and Cindy truly believed with all there heart that Casey sold Caylee or was in someway responsible for Caylee to be kidnaped then why have they not gone to LE and told them everything Casey said while she was out on bail?
Because it would hurt Caseys case?......So what they say there #1 goal is to find Caylee. Having the little girl home and Casey being charged with human trafficking would not be so bad!!
Why if they believed she is still out there why would they not tell the public all details so we could help? The kidnappers would not kill her now....I mean now that they know the Anthony's and the public know who they are......come on already if its true then they would not stop until everyone knew the whole truth. If the world knew WHO took her she could be home by the end of the day!!!
Here's my take
Casey is 100% to blame for this
I don't blame GA or Cindy for holding out hope that Caylee is still alive
What I would fault them for is blaming other folks such as LE or Tim Miller, when their daughter is the one who has not cooperated, and lied at every turn
If they don't want to blame their daughter is one thing to divert that blame to others is just wrong
The other thing that bothers me is this notion that they seem to know the real story but aren;t telling anybody. How does that help Caylee
I totally agree with you. We are watching a long ingrained family dynamic.
Casey lies, steals, cheats, does whatever she wants to get whatever she wants.
Cindy yells at her behind closed doors, makes her feel worthless, Casey uses this to justify her behavior. In public Cindy tows the line, fixes the mess, and DEMANDS that everyone around her accept the explanation regardless of how ridiculous it is. This too reinforces and escalates Casey's behavior since she has no consequences except her mother berating her behind closed doors and occasionally in front of her boyfriend of the day.
Lee acts as Mr. Fix It/Peacekeeper because that is his role. He is noted as being the one closest to Casey. This swooping in when mom walks away to find out what really happened and calm Cindy down did not start on July 15th.
George clearly has his own opinions but will only go so far in crossing Cindy. In interviews alone with the police he sounds logical and accepting of the facts. In public he tows the Cindy line, regardless of how illogical he knows it is. That is his role (I hate men like this by the way, men that appear to be victims in the family dynamic but really are part of the abuse cycle their kids and grandchildren grow up in by not stopping the crazy woman they live with. And then they get sympathy from people around them.).
I do think George towing the line with the kidnapping story is his attempt to manage Cindy who is clearly not manageable. Cindy is use to believing she is in control and her behavior enabled by Lee and George. She cannot fathom that she cannot steer this situation and cannot get people to sway to her view of events. Cindy acting like she is in control and Casey playing the submissive victim while pulling all the strings is nothing new.
They are surrounded by people like Baez and the PI telling them that Casey is falsely accused, that there is no evidence, and that there are sitings of Caylee. Those are the only people that will be allowed near. In Cindy's interview of a few days ago when she says "Nothing will ever convince me that Casey harmed Caylee in anyway".... I think that is the most honest thing that has been said so far.
You KNOW this kidnapping of the little boy in Nevada has given them new hope. Of course, they'd have to finally admit that Casey does drugs to go with that theory. Why was there no ransom note?I don't think George and Cindy really believe Caylee is alive. They're probably saving all the details of Casey's story for the trial. I figure they will blame an illegal immigrant who had stolen the name ZG and it's now a Mexican type kidnapping. Maybe even somehow related to some wild story about drugs.
I saw the interview with GA. He said the only thing keeping him from taking his life is his hope that the baby is alive. If that keeps him alive I say let him believe.
If you were George and Cindy, which would you rather believe?
Until the remains of Caylee are in front of them, I think George and Cindy need to stick with option 1, for their own sanity. I can't really blame them for that ... I'd be in that same world. Denial, yes. But that's where I'd be.
- Your granddaughter was kidnapped, but your PIs are just two steps from bringing her home.
- Your granddaughter was murdered by your daughter, and your daughter will not tell you where her body is. Ever.

I agree
I think they should simply stay out of the limelight. They are only hurting themselves further.
He's not going to take his own life, he's as self-centered as KC. His interviews reflect a man who is concerned with his own self-image.
He reminds me of my own father who downed a bottle of pills and then turned himself into the ER only to blame my mother for his actions. He was attempting suicide to get away from HER. He turned himself in so he wouldn't die, but made sure he made maximum impact to her emotionally.
gimme a break.
