If Misty tells the truth...

Grand Jury subpoena, maybe?

Excellent thought on the Grand Jury! I have high hopes that something is finally happening with this case. With Tommy back at SJ, Ron not taken to prison yet, gives me the impression someone is talking or they finally have enough to make a charge. I have been in this forum for over a year refreshing pages...and today alone have worn out the refresh button, my gut feeling is something big is going to happen soon.

Does anyone else think that perhaps Misty..after being interragated....was given another LDT...and passed..?? and now the wheels are moving forward???

It seems to me...whatever Misty said....would have be found TRUTHFUL...to go bring Tommy in..

Seems to me she would be given one....We may never hear about it if she did...

all in my own opinion..

I would hope LE backed it up with a LDT, but who knows. Did they have the machine just sitting there & everything ready? & did all of this in 4 hours? But, Misty does love taking those things, so maybe they really were ready. But I have a sinking suspicion, that she either told them what they wanted to hear, (Tommy did it), or she told them what they knew would get Tommy mad enough to tell the truth. so they were satisfied. But whatever happens, I won't be satisfied without a LDT, to back it up. Admissable in court or not, this case has hinged on those stinkin' things since the beginning, & now is not the time, to give up on them.

If Misty tells the truth....... how will LE know? Has to be some evidence to back up even a confession. They need to find Haleigh. At this point, with everybody on all sides lying through their teeth for almost 20 months.... who's going to know when the truth does come out??
I do feel like Tommy may go down for this, and if all he did was to help dispose the body, it isn't quite fair. However, sounds like LE plans to send Misty down right along with him. It would be a downright shame if both of them goes to prison for the crime, and somebody else walks.
I don't think Ron was the one who disposed of Haleigh. If he was directly responsible for her death, then I think someone else took care of the rest of it. Somehow I just can't picture a parent or a grandparent so callously disposing of a child's body like that, but stranger things have happened. Anything is possible.

BBM...
I agree Txlady2. but we have to remember, the parents/grandparents in this drama are not normal. I bet some of them, not naming who, could do some pretty callous things to cover their arzzs or someone else in the family. I bet some of these could do abou:twocents:t anything.

I agree with some your comment..particulary the part I bolded...

I don't believe Ron disposed of Haleigh..BY HIMSELF....I believe TN did...with him...

I believe TN ran the "whole show" for Ron....Just like she always has when he is in a jam...Ron would be unable to even focus enough as to where to lay Haleigh to rest...But TN would..I believe TN was instrumental in Ron marrying Misty..there another Jam..he was in..

I don't believe that Ron/TN/GMS would trust anyone but themselves to bury her. I just don't see the Croslins ....trusted enough....by the Cummings..for that task..

And also...I feel...that laying a child to rest...would be a private family matter...

BUT...Yes, ...The Croslins are involved..with everything else...about it..

This is only my opinion...

I agree Justus. I think Ron, TN and GGMS al could have disposed of Haleigh's body. I think they would have called it a memorial ceremony, said some prayers, and told her goodby. They just wouldn't have called it "disposing of". MHO

I hope you are right....

Was the interragation really 4 hours???.....They must have kept on her to spill....Whatever they confronted her with, she cooperated...and seemed ready to "end it all" afterwards...(suicide)..

IMO...

I just can't see the Grandmothers disposing of Haleigh's body, but I can see an uncle or other grandfather performing this terrible deed.

You may be right. It's all guessing now. Honestly, I think TN would do anything to protect Ron. MHO

The main reason I think this...is...Ron...FULLY TRUSTED his mother and grandmother...and they both....FULLY SUPPORT him...

But who really knows?????...just lots of guesses...and opinions

I just can't see the Grandmas doing that either, but maybe that is just something our normal minds can't get around. I cannot even see the grandmas covering for the ones responsible for their grandbaby Haleigh's disappearance. I would be all over everyone who was with her last.

Aside from Art Harris...has there been any independant verification this interrogation took place? I get news feeds on Haliegh, Misty etc...and I am seeing nothing new.

Just curious...as to what we have that verifies Art's version of a) an interrogation and b) what was said other than by his source - which (correct me if I am wrong) we all believe is Chelsea?
source was lisa..

I seriously doubt the deed was carried out by any of the women...JMHO

I remember a while back, way before the bust, hearing that LE was pretty sure of what happened that night. I wonder how close they were. Because unless their theory involved Joe, I don't understand the jump to take Tommy's word. I'm real curious about what role they originally had Tommy in. a bit player? a major player, but not the killer? the killer? I've been on Tommy for awhile, but he really didn't start movin & groovin for me, until those jail tapes. That dude was shakin in his boots...or would've been, if his ever thoughtful wife hadn't thrown them out. After listening to his carp, & then watching that search, I thought LE had set him up, & he fell right into their trap. & I think it almost worked. It seems that Tommy held something back. for insurance, maybe? If he's guilty, does Misty know? Was she there as a witness? I've thought that maybe he was babysitting, or after Ron's call, he sneaked into the trailer for drugs? something worse? If Misty was gone, will she finally admit to it? or if she helped Tommy in some dirty deed, will she admit to that? IDK, but I'm beginning to think so.

dodie, I am really really thinking that you are sooo very on to "IT".... your above post literally sent a chill up the back of my neck and I truly feel is close to what happened the night of February 9, 2009... That Misty was out of the MH for "some" amt of time.. And possibly it was Ron's call to Tommy to see WTH was going on at the MH cuz Ron couldn't get Misty on her phone, that took Tommy to the MH that night... But Tommy's agenda was NOT to check on Misty but much more of nefarious agenda and knowing that Misty was out from the MH and he had full reign of that MH and whatever "it" was that he was wanting from that MH.... And that is what Tommy did and that is why Misty does NOT KNOW exactly what happened to Haleigh...

ETA~ And I am not meaning that Haleigh was necessarily the "IT" that Tommy was after, quite possibly "IT" was drugs, or really who the hell knows.. and that something happened that Tommy did not necessarily "plan" on happening when setting out to go to that MH... Tommy by his own admission was EXTREMELY "F-ed" up..

Wow...I had never thought of that...in that way....

Very possible I will say....

But something bothers me that I am now thinking of....If Misty was gone from the MH and Tommy saw his chance to get some drugs or steal something....Did Tommy have a key to get in????...
Perhaps Tommy had a key Ron knew nothing about..

In the beginning, I remember hearing that Ron had the only key, so, I'm guessing that Misty either left a door unlocked, or Tommy, the burglar, broke in somehow. Maybe he unlocked a window, when he was there earlier? But if Misty was in the habit of leaving the kids, (& Kim P said she was), then Tommy probably knew her unlocked door routine.

Think about this, justus, Misty no longer had a key to the MH.. If you remember Ron had taken the key to the MH from Misty{or she'd given it back, can't remember for sure but do know that she no longer had a key}...
So, therefor if Misty left the MH for ANY AMT OF TIME, she would've had to have left the MH unlocked in order for her to get back in...

Therefor easy, NO-FORCE ENTRY for Tommy or whomever to walk right into the MH with 2 sleeping children...

ETA~ well, dodie I see we were thinkning the same thing about the key to the MH... sorry just saw your post..

Tommy never needed a key to do a B&E. But one of those doors would have been left unlocked, awaiting Misty's return to the MH.

After the beating she told NayNay she took, & then Ron letting her back in the house...& I do feel that's how it was, because that was his house, & he was the boss, & I do think she wanted to be there...I'm not sure if Misty would've had the nerve to take off. very shaky ground, but maybe she like to live dangerously. unless she was with her family. & that would explain her being gone, not being corroborated. except for Tommy's bizarre snitching. So...was she home? with her family? someone else?
