[h=1]Suspects in Videotaped Beating Plead Not Guilty in Chicago[/h]
The Chicago Sun-Times reports (http://bit.ly/2lz7Hxb) that assistant public defenders for each of the four entered the pleas on Friday. They have been in custody since early January. At their first hearing, a judge called them a danger to society and refused to allow them to post bail.

This stuff drives me nuts. They are tape committing the crime. What good is all this surveillance if every time they plead not guilty and endless costly trials go on.

Its like technology has not merged with judicial system-- we see you doing this - there is no plea - go to sentancing - anyone think these guys did not do this?

Its the same with Fort Lauderdale shooter - he is on tape murdering people WTH?

The cops - you are on tape shooting people in the back, why do we need to waste money --its on tape

all of the cases that have video should not be clogging up courts moo

The plea deal/probation is as sickening as the crime she committed.

[h=1]Woman gets three years after guilty plea in live-streamed beating of teen[/h]
She’s the second of four co-defendants to plead guilty in the case that received national attention because it involved a white victim and four blacks who taunted him with profanities against white people.

Her sister, Brittany, who livestreamed the video, was sentenced to four years of probation after pleading guilty in December. The cases against the two other co-defendants are pending.

Tesfaye Cooper, 30 — who spent roughly seven years in prison for terrorizing and beating a mentally disabled man in Chicago in 2017 — was arrested on April 8 for allegedly beating up the cyclist and stealing his bike with an accomplice, CWB Chicago reported.

Good back where he belongs.
