Chicago crime: 7 kids charged with beating mom, son captured in viral video, police say
Seven juveniles were charged in connection with the beating of a mother and her 9-year-old son last month near a South Side school.
The juveniles charged included three 10-year-old boys, a 10-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, according to police. Authorities did not name them as they were underage.
